while i agree that being able to set it to a lower number of jobs would be useful for some, i don't think it can be done right now.

 

if you are at 2  jobs done, then you have completed at least 4 quests of the mod (2 do NOT count towards jobs done).

 

the most time consuming parts of the mod that i found by playing are the start up (Lucky Day/Surviving the Whore House), The Truce (variable), and The Hooker.

from reading your post it seems like you are past all of that except The Hooker (take the fast travel option if you want rl speed, but you will miss a little content).

 

there are quests that have to be done before you can choose which quest to do.  you can fail any of them.  jobs done points only get awarded if successful.



1 - The Truce (can take a while depending on where it sends you).  get sent to Wreck of the Northern Star (yeesh a long long walk) or Walden Pond (short/medium walk but almost no enemies to slow you down), it sends you to a random raider base.

2 - The Pet (make chems and earn caps - they do NOT care where you get the caps from, so you can have caps waiting if done ahead of time or console them in if time critical)

3 - Pest Control (short close quest)

4 - The Fighter (medium length quest)

5 - The Hooker (trip to Diamond City and back, can earn 2 jobs done points during, can take a while if you walk manually to/from DC but there is a fast travel option), earning caps in DC you have to "hook" to get enough, but there is an optional part to gain 100 of the 300 needed very fast.  guards mention something, talk to person they mention.

6 - The Scavver (medium length quest)

available after getting to the point of choice are any of the first 6 quests and also

7 - The Threat  (like The Truce it depends on where it sends you on how long it will take, but still shorter, this one sends you to a settlement not a raider base) someplace like The Slog or Finch's Farm are fairly close, but Somerville Place is a long haul.

8 - Free Roaming (just get some caps from wherever and turn them in, again they do NOT care where you get the required caps)

the 2 fastest quests (time wise) to do that i found playing were The Pet, and Free Roaming.  you can run to any merchant to sell stuff to earn the caps fast. the closest merchants i found  are Covenant, Drumlin Diner, and  Bunker HIll, but there is enough time in those quests to go to Goodneighbor and Diamond City.  there is actually enough time to fast travel to Dimond City sell stuff and fast travel back, and Diamond City has up to 8 merchants depending on time of day.

this mod is not the best for an "origin story" as it is a story mod itself, but having said that i did not find it excessively long.  YMMV.  having said that it does take longer

the first time you play through it.  subsequent play throughs of it will (usually) take a fair bit less time, and there are a couple of points you can make it take even

less time than normal.

I see what you mean. I've just finished the Hooker so I got 4 jobs done, it does seem to be getting smoother, you are right.

 

The thing is, a story that you can experience yourself is in my opinion the perfect origin story as it gives you "peace of mind" that it actually did happen, there's proof and it's recorded in your history/slate, you know? Oh what am I saying, I'm taking these videogames more seriously than I should, I'm just blabbering, don't mind me haha.

nods i agree totally on the perfect origin story is one you actually did.

 

just one more "must do this" quest, then you should be able to choose what you are doing.

 

only 4 jobs done, sigh sounds like a failure or 2 along the way which means it will take a little longer to earn your freedom

you did agree to Gristle's proposal during The Hooker right???  the quest The Hero should be running but without any active markers.

 

well time to play it again myself (just started a new game to fix a different problem), now that my rl project is done (for today).

One more thing: For some raeson Corvega is unbearably glitchy in my playthrough. Textures are missing and there are blank spaces everywhere. I don't know what's causing this.

I believe the quests/stages are on the mod page, if not just "showquesttargets" in console to see the name of your current repeatable quest, then "sqv [quest]" to see the stages and setstage to the last stage to complete them quickly. This is what I did at least because I had much of the same experience as you are. (I also did this for the scooter in Nuka Ride because I totally forgot to do them before the point of no return, forgive me JB :/)

Thanks for the tip. I managed to find a way to finish the last 5 repeatable missions in about 25 minutes. This might be immersion breaking for some but use it if you are really desperate to finish the quest like I was:

 

1) Choose the "free roaming" repeatable mission

2) Open console and type "player.additem f 500" (this gives you the required amount of 500 caps to finish)

3) Go to Jared

4) Sleep

5) Rinse and repeat

I tried to search for a post regarding my issue but I didn't find one. Sorry if this was already covered. I had no issues with the mod at all until after the ending when I had been set free. Now whenever I try to sleep in any bed the Pet Collar: Beast whore training mode is activated.  How do I stop this from happening? My PC is no longer a slave and when I try either option to continue with my game it bugs out. The screen goes black and I cant do anything.

Since the mod is now over, the best thing to do is disable the bestiality option in the MCM and that would do the trick.


It is a mystery to me why it happens. Because the script should only kick if the bed is the one in the Whore House, not with any other bed.

I had thought about it, about the girl who must die, but when I read about it on the wiki I realized that the dates do not add up, so it ended up in a random girl.

You were right that did the trick. I thought I had tried every option in the MCM but apparently I overlooked the most obvious solution.   I wish I could blame it on the rain but that wouldn't do any good. Just a good old brain fart on my part.   The mod is absolutely amazing.  I can't say enough about it.  I have played through Nuka Ride many times and recently installed the new update. Can't wait to play through it again. Also an incredible mod. Thank you.

Help. I am trying to complete The Pet  Quest. Game will not let me collect fertilers. States character needs gloves. How do i either get the gloves or the command to bipass this as I can't get around it. Game put 3hr lethal injection on character.

Try to type "SetStage _CS_Pet 54" in the console, if that doesn't work try stage 55. If you have further issues JB listed all of the quests and their stages on the first page of the thread.

 

Also note that there is a space between "SetStage" and "_CS_Pet 54" I've seen it catch a few people off guard.

If I remember right, Lindstrom gives you the gloves when he gives you the quest. If everything worked correctly you probably have the gloves in the inventory, you might have missed it.

So little thingy I noticed, if you have Tales from the Commonwealth installed something funky will happened when Gristle and Murphy are escorting you and after the whole "house with the slave girl" test thingy they'll start attacking an NPC called Ludwick, an NPC that is essential I guess cuz he would just fall to the ground hurt and once he healed back up they start fighting again, this can also be a problem cuz Gristle tries to make distance between himself and Ludwick to use his rifle so he'll get a bit far and that might kill you... also Gristles combat voicelines are female in that... so yeah just figured I should mention that

Also I got the notification for getting Slave tatters in my inventory but they didn't get equipped... is that normal/intended or should I be wearing those in the whole escort thing?

Oh also I just want to share this funny thing that happened, so I do have autonomy enhanced installed, I set gay sex probability at like the lowest and the second that Gristle goes upstairs in the speakeasy him and Murphy start fucking... this happened twice... I mean that's just statistically impressive (also the scene with murphy is a lot less threatening when he has cum stains and is buck naked lol)

I want to update and upload all the fixes and new stuff I have ready, but right now I'm mentally exhausted. It seems like Nuka Ride 6 squeezed a lot out of me.  

 

So uploading an update is in my plans, but now I'm kind of burnt out I guess. So I'm going to read some book, watch movies, play some Skyrim, until one day my head says: Let's continue with THE BEAST.

I can understand.  For a complete recovery, read books like, "Heidi".  Watch movies like, "Old Yeller".  And top it off with the complete "Strawberry Shortcake" TV cartoon series.  You'll be begging to come back to Commonwealth Slavers.

Are you planning to allow non-alternative start playthrough? Im in the first half of the main quest and really want to see how my proud and arrogant minuteman general gonna be abused and turned into submissive fuck nugget )) and how it will affect her future))

It's an excellent question I ask myself sometimes.

 

Imagine your case. You are already in the middle of the story and you are already a General. Chances are Jared is already dead let alone Gristle. Using Ack-Ack and Red Tourette, which is always in my plans, would also be out of the question because they're probably already dead in your case.

 

So how can I offer a story in that scenario of yours?

 

I must create new raiders. Exclusive characters for this mod (something like Murphy, Big Bomb or Lindstrom currently are). Stop using Jared and Gristle, and create a new Boss and a new Right Hand. The idea is suggestive because I have a new worldspace and it would no longer be mandatory to start a new game.

 

Of course, that will mean moving all of the current infrastructure to the new worldspace. (The real headache here).

 

And getting rid of Gristle would be difficult (I kind of grew fond of this character).
