Couple of minor issues after ending CS (bad ending)

 

I went back to Corvega and killed Jared (with extreme prejudice 😃) and noticed that he no longer has the Corvega Safe Key. Not worth worrying about fixing (unless it's really easy).

 

The Hook - I went there and shot a video and noticed that I took a self esteem hit in SA. As the pc is filming voluntarily and it's run by the Minutemen now, I would have thought that sex should be switched to consensual. 

 

EDIT: I just checked out the Animal Magnetism perk in PVPK and that doesn't give a self esteem hit, so it should be possible though how easy is another matter. I'll dig around in PVPK a bit more and see if I can find how its done

 

EDIT2: This is getting rather strange. The self esteem loss seems to only be with Snoopy, usually in the first scene but sometimes in the second if another creature has been filmed with first, so I don't know. what the cause is It doesn't happen with the cat. radstag or dildo. I'll give my OCD a rest for now I think.

 

One bug does seem consistent, the pc is redressed between the two scenes and the clothes aren't removed for the second scene

I'm getting stuck at the Concord Speak Easy. After I go through all the dialogue, Murphy says he's going to fuck me and then doesn't do anything. He and gristle just repeat the same dialogue when I talk to them. AAF admin says Error Enabled ActorTypes. I installed it through MO2, I thought I had done it correctly, but I may need to reinstall it and Kinky and etc again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's more likely your AAF setup not being configured correctly. To get help with that, it's best to go to the AAF Discord. You'll find the link in the official AAF guide thread.

Random comment/issue toward the end of "The Bomb" quest:

Maybe it's my difficulty settings, but the minutemen way outclassed the raiders in the fight. After repeating it a few times the end result was the same: The minutemen would win against the raiders and then continuously stunlock them on the ground as they were essential and wouldn't die, leaving the fight to continue indefinitely. I eventually had to intervene with my own overpowered weapon: the console kill command. I did not have the mod requirement for the EXO suit if that was somehow the key to tipping the odds.

Also, I too experienced the porn studio bug other people brought up with the minuteman that instantly gets ganked.

Another small dialogue fix to raider dialogue:

"Pick a place for us, a nice warming spot." -> "Pick a place for us, a nice and warm spot." or "Pick a place for us, a nice and quiet spot."

I play with Hardcore Raiders and they always beat the Minutemen. But for the next update, I can make some raiders ghosts. That is, nothing will kill them or knock them out.

Some quick feedback.

 

Like others I find a Minuteman at The Hook on first entry.

 

On Death Ending, the Bomb Brothers go aggro on the guards and actors in the Hook.

No amount of setstage carries the game onwards.

 

I have a hunch it may be due adding NPCs, so I'll try removing MTO, Black Male Raiders, Hardship, Ghoul Raiders, and Unique Raider Patrols and get back to you.

 

LOL, it may be a while, I decided to get back to NextGen and have to sort through my whole load order.

It's surprising how many mods DON'T work with NG !

it's not "bad" per se. You start the Hero quest and when you've acquired enough quest points for Hero you just choose to be released from slavery. 

or are you talking about the trapper one? (1) Pet walk talk to trapper (2) Death End takes you to Porn Studio as optional choice

I think Pet Walk should be available once you've done all the mandatory quests. You have any quest hinting you what to do next? He should have an option to let you choose what you want to do or you forgot to go to sleep?

Bad ending

   If you meant the ending where you are no more a slave, but you don't destroy the slavery ring, you need to reach the number of mission defined in MCM (default is 20). When you reach this number Lindstrom says Gristle want to see you outside then you have the choice : true ending (destroy slavery with gristle), "bad ending" no more slave or forever slave

 Note that the "bad ending" is not so bad, here nobody steal your revenge, like in the true ending.  

 

  If you meant the ending on the trapper ship, you can activate it in the MCM

 

Pet walk like most quests is available when you talk to Lindstrom after 12 missions. if you have not yet started CS, there is an option in MCM to start at the 13th, where you can choose which mission you want. Before that, the mod choose for you. 

So if you have not yet done 12 missions or not picked the MCM option to skip the first 12, you have no choice and must do what Lindstrom want you to do.

Everything looks good. That AAF setup should work. You should only load a save when Murphy "tattoos" you because that's when the first AAF scene kicks in. Don't load a save where the scene failed, you have to load a save before that.

 

 

BTW Things I'd uninstall. Does not affect AAF.

 

ExpandedGagDialogue - never updated for new versions.
Farelle_Animations - I don't use these animations.
TatsAfterRape - Redundant

There are other mods that I don't even know what they do, but of the ones I know, this is my recommendation.

Just some thoughts on a balancing issue, all really minor stuff. Please feel free to ignore if you don't agree

 

When filming in the porn studio there are two scenes shot for each option with dildo/animal and each scene gives a sex reputation hit of 20, so at the end the pc ends up with 40 which seems a bit high to me.

 

I had a quick look through the _CS_main script and there is a routine there that looks to add 10 which would seem more balanced if it can be incorporated (Function IncreaseSexReputation() )

 

Clearly there should be a reputation hit but 40 per job seems a bit high, I would have thought 20 more balanced as reputation carries a noticeable penalty with vendors

That function was just a copy-paste from Nuka Ride, but it's not used in this mod. That means that Sex Attributes is the one raising the reputation. I'll see if there's a function to prevent that. I already found a function in Sex Attributes to make all scenes inside the studio be considered “consensual.”

I just had a quick look at the fpa_reputationhelper script (though not in depth. The quick and dirty way to just stop reputation increasing looks to be on entering the studio set FPA_Setting_SexReputationGainFromSexEnabled to zero, then back to one when leaving. Hope this helps

hmm having trouble recruiting Cait

 

played CS 2.84d all the way through (true ending)

talked to Medium after finishing (in Whore House)

did not do Combat Zone mission during CS

 

now when i enter Combat Zone it starts the CS Combat Zone mission, but if i walk in all the raiders aggro.

if i kill all the raiders i do get the message to talk to Tommy, but both he and Cait are not there.

Eh, just discovered the Bunker Hill quest : butcher Kay and assh.. Savoldi gained a place in the top of the "to kill when free", and Bunker Hill just got marked as objective to raze as soon as possible. LOL

Nooooo 😭 I tested that and even recruited Cait. Like a month ago...

I had the same problem except it wasn't all of them. There was a group of 5 or 6 that stayed calm while the others attacked me and the slaves that were there. Unfortunately, the barkeeper that you are supposed to talk to wasn't one of them. Once he was dead there was no point in staying.
