I fixed it by doing the whole trip, just told to see Dwayne then work, worked and reported back with my 300 caps, only to be told to go back and work. No amount of caps was enough and eventually the collar exploded.  Wondering if I should cut out the science lab? Restarted a couple of times.  Eventually, I went to a previous load and did another task that worked fine, the Threat is a good one, alone, unarmed, completely helpless and had to run all the way to Sommerville place.  Tried the circuitous safe route and ran out of time, then I was caught with auto surrender by some super mutants that took so long to bugger me I ran out of time, eventually managed to avoid everything and delivered to he threat, great challenge.

Frist time, the shock collar is put on the character, there is immediate shock, then limb breaks, another round of shock, then death follows.   This wasn't the case on version 1.03, but anything after 1.04, can't escape death at the beginning of the main quest.   This is right after, the character is teleported to the basement and conversation ensues where shock collar is put on the character.
 

I USE NMM, any solution for NMM

 

PS: This was another post, solved with the solution in the post for VORTEX, but sadly I use NMM and i am not want to change (so many mods to reinstall)....

Unfortunately the function to add keywords does not work and I will have to remove that ? I just read on CK that it doesn't work with armor.... 

 

But I will make patches for some mods. I like Easy Girl and TRS so they can also be used as alternatives. 

 

@Beerbatty Of course I take suggestions, but for small things for now. Like compatibilities or some tweaks here and there. But new Quests... I don't think I can do it this year.

Does the slaver jet cure AN76 tiredness? I've been avoiding it. Trying to get the player out w/o becoming a junkie. If it does, that may be the breaking point.

 

If you can get your hands on a cola (or the ingredients to cook siltbean coffee), it will stave off exhaustion for a while. Easy in Nuka World where the joint is littered with bottles of the stuff, less so in and around Lexington though.

Will making text description boxes break anything? 

I would like to try and add some at certain points. A good example being when the 1st FC is removed, and just adding some flavour to describe what happens, how it feels etc. 

Also, when Nora is asked to do a certain type of.."reverse cleaning due to a non-functioning toilet paper industry", just a message box regarding that as well. 

More so because interactions like this ( and many others I assume, inc. having to eat certain canned items) would seem to be important points of break down for Nora, besides the overall horrendousness, so having a literal thought bubble seems appropriate.

I think the best thing is not to abuse too much with the sensations and leave them to the player. In my first drafts I realized that I abused the description of how the protagonist felt. I decided to be as concise as possible and describe the situation as directly as possible. Let everyone deal in their own way with their brave, shy, submissive girl, etc. without me meddling too much.

 

I also think that the abuse of this messages can be kinda unbearable - I've removed a lot in version 1.0.0, I even had a set prepared for *during* Dwayne's frisk.

 

But I have put the source code so that anyone can make their own patches or modifications. Personally I will not add more of that in the current quests.

when you planing to release a new version ? wanna some testing with couple new mods im installed but this need newgame)

It's the fucking scene between Kyle and his brother, in the market, that ends with Kyle being shot by a guard. That quest closes the Entrance quest and stops it at 100.

 

Entering Piper's office also closes the Entrance quest at 100 and stops the quest.

 

Why are Piper and the Mayor in front of DC?


Because they have packages that force them to be there if they haven't done stage 50 of the Intro yet (which they never did, because it went from 0 to 100).

The simplest solution seems to me to add one more condition to those packages. 

But I have already included doing a setstage(50) of the entrance (within The Hooker's quest) and as you can see they are back in their places.

if you resetquest DiamondCityEntrance then setstage (s) 1,2,5,7,10,20,25,27,30,32,34,40,42,45,50,52,55. It should force all the actors to complete all the outside stuff and send them inside correctly. It should also trigger MQ104, the Mayors wall speech and Story of the Century which are the main quests needed to send the Mayor and Piper inside to complete the next stages of their quests. (ie, Piper talk to Nat and the Mayor walk to the platform for his speech)

Especially the feral ghouls in Cambridge. The encounter on the bridge. The whoring job in DC also has a but of randomness to the customers. Some will be uninterested so a run of bad luck can make the time in DC take even longer.

 

Cant say. I did not have issue with that quest but I did start it on a fresh wakeup. No way in hell ghouls, supermutants or not you cant get there in 16hrs.

All good and cheers for that. Honestly, no intent to make you add more lol! It was more for my own personal interest, so I can learn how to add them etc

Second time around doing the Pest Control Quest. Finished it, Gristle sent me back to the whore house. Talking to Lindstrom to complete, he gets to part where he tells me to get some rest, then those same three BOS show up in the whore house and are promptly killed. Talked to Lindstrom again, same thing. Endless loop of BOS killing.

Getting there? No. Get there, do the quest, and get back?

Started on a fresh wakeup too. About 13 feral ghouls in collage square, one wandering settler who'd run away, Gristle would give chase, lose him, stand around for a bit, the settler would come back into range..... that took a while. Then the encounter on the bridge. Then the super mutants just past Hangman's Alley. Then whoring in DC after going through getting the permit/license scene.  More  feral ghouls in collage square on the way back (the named feral ghouls that were once the player's neighbors,).

I had some Nuka's in my inventory but I guess they were confiscated. Not many places to find them along the way either. What I did find was exhausted around the 3rd trip.

It's a bug on my part. instead of doing

 

SetStage _CS_House 901 (correct)

 

Lindstrom does

 

SetSTage _CS_House 900 (restart quest)

 

You can do it manually yourself in the meantime.

Is a Minuteman or someone suppose to show up in the Pest control quest after I sit on the bench and wait? No one even shows up and have to keep on getting my collar reset and after the 3rd time I get punished and try to talk Gristle but he doesn't say anything to me at all.

After the beating, talk to Gristle your collar resets, head outside..... for the last time.

from there you can scroll up to find the Antibiotics and Food Poisoning Cures and then use: player.additem "item code" X (don't type the quotation marks, just the item code the console gives you.  X is the number you want to add.)

 

That turns an incompatible mod into a compatible mod.  There are other mods to enable console on survival mode if you need them.  And anyone arguing that using the console is cheating, so is using mods. So save your rebuttals.

Hey, could someone help me? I think I'm stuck on a mission. I'm playing through 'The Fighter' quest and after winning both fights I was put into a cell, watched the other raiders leave, and saw a text box that said something along the lines of 'I hope my master didn't forget about me, I will have to wait here'. After that nothing is happening, I've been waiting for some time now and I have yet to receive any other text boxes, and Jared has not returned. What can I do?

EDIT: Nevermind, after I loaded a save a couple times and waited some more the game picked back up and a raider told me Jared wanted to speak with me.

Finished this tonight. Kind of sad knowing what the future holds. A little buggy here and there, but that will work out. Enjoyed playing it very much.

Içe got the game running bud not the sexscene's I have to skip or end quest before I can go on.

Also similarly, anything can be done about NPCs walking into the character and sliding them out of conversation? This is also annoying when getting whipped, and whipper slides the character all over the place, sometimes causing issues like sliding out of ledges or into other locations you don't want to be. And it just looks silly :)
