cheekychap88 Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 I was just wondering if this is working as intended or if i can get it to work slightly differently. I have male PC and female companion (Sofia). I have it set so that if an NPC knocks her he will then assault her and 'kill' her afterwards, this works fine, however the aggressor only ever does the unarmed finishing move where they punch her. This is in spite of having a weapon sheathed. It would be cool if they pulled their weapon out and there was then a variety of the killmoves. Is this working as intended? Or would you expect the NPC to pull out the weapon before the finishing move. I don't think there is an option to make the NPC not sheathe their weapon as the animation starts (might solve it?).

I can teleport to tied captives but it just drops me next to an invisible captive. I don't know if they are falling through the ground or what happens to them. Anyone have any ideas? Is it a load order thing?

Many of he captives you'll take are the kind that despawn after you leave the area, so you're left with a disabled captive that you can't see. Assume that that one escaped. ?

Chauruses and spider chauruses, no problem. Chaurus reapers did not assault my player in my present game either, but when I did a minimal install with only a few mods loaded, chaurus reapers behaved as expected, but still no luck with chaurus hunters. Like my present play-through, my minimal install did include the mod More Nasty Critters: SLAL Edition, which has a chaurus hunter animation. My regular game with lots of mods has more chaurus hunter animations, using Billyy's animations. On a side note, In my regular game, which includes Estrus Chaurus+, a spit attack from a chaurus hunter or chaurus reaper fail to initiate a tentacle attack. Other chauruses, no problem. I figure the Defeat problem and the Estrus Chaurus+ problem are related. I've struggled with this for several days. I would appreciate any help. ShenGo Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Not sure what I did, but I somehow got the MCM to FINALLY install the bane version, every time I tried... Unfortunately, I then found that she can't resist, at least against creatures. I had 'player can resist' and 'show hints' both checked, but she didn't even get a chance to resist. Within 1 second of going into bleedout, I got the notification saying which animation is selected. That generally means resisting pre-animation is too late, and, supporting that assumption, within another 3 or 4 seconds, she was stripped, on her feet, and standing in the same position as the attacker, ready to start the animation. The fastest an SL animation has ever gotten underway, to be honest. Based on the auto resist description, I wonder if this is by design, if resist is disabled for certain creaures. But I was able to resist all creatures with the original Defeat, and really prefer having SOME control over whether or not I have to wait around for an uber orgy to continue playing. For example, sometimes I want certain enemies to play an animation at least once. But at other times, for example, when she's fighting a herd of werewolves or trolls, starting a scene wouldn't be a good idea until most are dead. Otherwise, it'll be an endless loop of them knocking her down, having an orgy, and being fully healed by the time the orgy is over, thus knocking her down, and healing during an orgy again. As a result, the battle will NEVER end unless I promptly enter the MCM and disable 'player as victim' temporarily... Which I shouldn't have to do, if she can instead just resist with easy settings, and continue fighting.

mockeymice Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 After making a non hostile npc submit via the default G key, I told her to strip, and then well rape her. When the animation starts, all the UI disappears and comes back once the animation starts playing, the default skryim E key will however disappear and I can't pick up items and interact with anything. Exiting the game and reloading the save does not fix it.

HooverVacuum Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Hi I tried downloading the Skyrim SE version of this mod and there were some issues. When I started a new save and went into the mcm menu Sexlab defeat was disabled. I clicked on it and it started to install in game and once it was done I went back into mcm and it said that it was enabled. I have an alternate start mod and I started at the redwater den and drank the redwater skooma which starts a quest. Upon waking up in a cage, after the dialouge was complete between the vampire everyone became hostile and entered the cage and started to kill me. Once they killed me I just died like normal and went back to my last save. I thought there might just be an issue with that quest so I started another character and the same thing happened when I was shot to death by someone with a bow. Know of any fix? I was also reading through the original sexlab defeat page and saw that there was a surrender button. I clicked that when I was in combat and it worked perfectly fine so part of the mod is working but still whenever I am being attacked I am just killed instead of knocked down. I am downloading Death Alternative now to see if that might fix things so will update if it works but until then I would love some help.

Changelog Version 3 Fixed a condition where, if you were knocked down before your followers(s), the scene would hang after follower knock down Defeat v535 Fixed 310520 Bane Version 3.7z 6.41 MB · 301 downloads so creatures aren't working with this and i found out why, i think. i think animations are not defaulting to SL tags if tags are blank in Animation Settings, you really need to fill it in with whatever tags you have (human or creature) or no animations will play, player will just get up. Defeat is simply not finding any animations. so creature tags are blank by default and you need to shift+click > add the tags Creature etc (BTW shift+clicking, for me at least, got me stuck in the MCM. i couldn't tab out without shift+clicking a blank area again)
tabloides Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 I am trying to make defeat work with death alternative. In 2015 I made it work perfectly without crashes. Now I have more problems... I am using the original with the two patches... I was able to make it work once however after adding a couple more mods like devious devices and a few animation mods defeat and death alternative do not recognize each other besides clicking on both mods registering options. Now defeat does nothing neither when I press the surrender option. I will probably uninstall some mods and try again but anyone with experience on making this work it would be nice to read you.

no_way Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Can someone explain the code that goes into selecting which aggressors will target which character when you have various settings enabled/disabled, specifically if I'm running with a follower? I seem to only be able to get one of the following 2 scenarios which are not ideal: 1) After downing both of us, or PC surrender and follower defeat, one or two aggressors will use PC, while the entire army lines up to use my follower, which means I then sit there for 15 minutes while "an aggressor watches over you". 2) We surrender at the same time, whereby my follower is ignored as a target. Trying to get to a 50/50 split if possible, so I need to understand how the aggressors get divied up.

I am running SKSE specifically on VR I know SL does not officially support VR, but I have managed to get everything working. SL, SL Aroused, Random and of course all their prerequisites However if I add Defeat Skyrim just refuses to even load, it crashes to desktop. I have managed to find solutions for all the other issues I have had over time, but defeat has...defeated me. Most other mods at least allow the gamer to run..maybe you get some weird behaviour or the specific mod functions dont work correctly, but defeat nukes the entire program which is an extreme result. running SLFramework V163_beta8 I wont list everything else as there are a bunch, but can provide specific versions if that is useful information I understand there is not likely to be an instant fix from this limited information, but looking for a bit of guidance as to how I can track down and ultimate fix the issue thanks

The "Player/Follower Aggressor" MCM page lets you remap that function (top of the page). Perhaps you can do that for an unused button on your gamepad. 2

I can no longer open the animation select window with the )0, it simply opens the command tool selections. I've not moved or restructured any load orders involving Sexlab or sexlab mods from the previous saved version, nor is anything overwriting the mod. Animations are listed and enabled. Is this a known bug? How can I fix this?
