Is there a way to add custom races to the defeat market value?

 

Not that I have seen...

But I agree there should be a "custom" value under races, for anything that isn't normally listed in the game.

I was thinking, you could just set all race values to 0, and just use the gender and level values instead till it supports a custom race slot.

Here's a question: I'd like to try out the Arachnaphobia mod sometime if possible, but one of the requirements is Death Alternative: Your Money or your Life. How will that mod work with this one? Is it possible to have both without problems? If not I'd rather have just Defeat, but that'd be cool to have a death alternative with spiders as well as bandits.

Defeat and Death Alternative can work together. Defeat becomes one of the possible outcomes of Death Alternative in knock out (as I assume Arachnophobia is another). Just make sure to disable defeat knock down ways to let Death Alternative handle the knockDown system.

Sexlab Helpless features should really be merged with defeat or Devious Captures. The mod gets quite "old", and with defeat and captures gets a bit redundant. As in, you get defeated, then "captured", then because you have devious devices equiped, you get raped again and equiped with more devices.

 

All I'm saying is that the process could be streamlined.

There are some things you can do to balance the difficulty. For example, in deviously helpless, I disable the triggers on the collar, arm cuffs, Chastity belt and Chastity bra (because honestly, having those devices should not be an impediment to fight back). I only enable the blindfold and armbinder as possible triggers to deviously helpless.

 

Now, I also install the MOD "Devious devices cutting" which basically let's you cut with a dagger all leather devices including blindfolds, gags collars, etc... assuming your hands are free to grab a dagger.

 

So with those settings, even if some bandits put a full set of devices on you, worst case scenario is you having an armbinder, and you have to find someone to help you removing it, or struggle a lot to take it off. Once you have taken it off, you can just cut all leather devices and go back into the action... unless you have some metal device. For those cases I always make a priority to visit college of winterhold to obtain the forbidden tome and learn how to craft keys... just make sure Urag does not catch you.

My "TP to tieups" is only registering one of my several of my tieups and I can't seem to add any new ones to the list. It was working fine previously, not sure how I broke it. Has anyone had this problem before?

I was playing my illionist character the other day with this mod and it gave me an idea.

 

What if there were a "Fury" spell that gave a 100% chance for the NPC to assault another NPC instead of just attack them. I had NPC vs NPC toggled on and managed to get the frenzied NPC to attack the other while sneaking around Golden Glow. I never expected it to happen, but when it did, I burst out laughing and thought, as an illusionist, i *should* be able to make NPCs aggressively horny instead of just berserk, afraid, and calm.

 

So just a thought I had that could maybe be added in the future.

Not sure if I ran into a glitch or if this is normal but in my latest test, I started as a female PC and only had male aggressors enabled for PC as victim.  One of the first encounters I had was a passing Thalmar party.  I attacked them and they beat me up and killed me.  Tried several times with the same result.  Then I enabled female agressors as well and tried again.  This time they assaulted me instead of killing me.

 

So unless I missed something or just got unlucky, I think that means you'll only get a sex scene if ALL of your opponents are valid sex aggressors unless you kill all of the ones that aren't.  Is there an option to have the ones that are not valid aggressors just stand by and watch the ones that are?

Enchantress changes Calm effect for animals to sex the players before calmling walking away. Perhaps that is a good structure to work from?

I'm not sure how it went down, but I'm pretty sure it depends on who actually hits you. If a female lands the health threshold hit that would knock the player down and females are not enabled, then it won't count since they're not enabled. Thalmor racial purity squads are female heavy so maybe that's it.

 

There is a 'Can be knocked down by everyone' option in the MCM specifying that not only sexual assaulters would be able to knock you down. Try that?

Well, actaully you just need DAYMOYL's code, not the actaul DAYMOYL system runnning, I did not turn that on(installed,just not using the actaul DAYMOYL) and use other Death replacer mod instead and Defeat still runs fine.

I'm experiencing some problems.

 

Firstly, using 'Inventory' option I can't see clothes that NPC wears (even if I used Undress firstly). So.. I can't steal them.

Secondly, I can't see 'Rob' option. So.. I can't steal clothes!

 

NPC, that being tied up, keeps redressing into their clothes/armor

 

And when I put some Devious Device on the NPC (for example devices from Captured Dreams Shop) it appears (if its collar), it doesn't (if its cuffs) and after redressing I don't see anymore this items as shown on the NPC (but they're equipped, they can't be unequipped without key).

 

So I need help and advices.

 

One more question: is it compatible with Paradise Halls?

I have animosity enabled and raped some important story characters... now they attack me on sight and I can't advance the story. Is there a way to reset post-rape animosity? Disabling animosity did not do the trick.

Use the console to select them, enter "Set RelationshipRank 14 0". That should stop them from automatically attacking you (but may not stop an attack already in progress).

The biggest problem I seem to have with Defeat is finding some setting that is hard enough that I sometimes lose and get assaulted without being so hard that every encounter is a likely loss.  I used to use ASIS and really like it, but ran into enough compatibility issues that I eventually gave up on it. 

 

I could crank the difficulty up to legendary but I'd probably have to uninstall Deadly Dragons if I did that.  I think I saw a setting that makes all followers surrender if I get knocked down but that may only be for manual surrenders.  Will have to take a closer look.  I guess another option would be to turn on all of those health/hit/stun based knockdowns so every hit could be a knockdown even if I'm mostly full health.  That can be annoying too though.  At default settings (with the option that everyone can knock me down enabled) it seemed like every time I got hit I got knocked down but my followers would still win the battle so no assault.

 

Edit:  After some more testing, the best compromise I could find was to go back to just setting myself to essential in the PC as victim section and then also changing the follower handling to surrender immediately if I get knocked down.  That way I don't  make my whole game frustratingly difficult but I still get the occasional assaults when I run into a situation I wasn't ready for or just wasn't really paying attention.

uncheck redress in Victim column when aggressor, and NPC vrs. NPC.

 

If they still redress, that is the core game telling them they should be wearing that outfit at this time....

No problem at all! There is a way to fix it without having to restart from the beginning. If I remember correctly, you have to disable and then enable Defeat back after you made sure SexLab is up and running.
