Why can't my character get knocked down and raped by animals? I started a new character and now Defeat won't allow assaults from creatures. I loaded up a character where creature assaults work (I tested it, and anything from wolves to reiklings could rape my PC), and exported the Defeat and Sexlab settings. 

 

I then imported these same settings onto my new character, and creature assault still doesn't work. What am I missing? Does it have something to do with Death Alternative?

 

I can't surrender to animals, either. Surrender and rape works with non-human NPC's though, so I don't know wtf I'm missing here.

Goubo are you still taking request ?? What about some integration with defeat and this guild mod ? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75110 when doing a slavers part you have your own slavers guild with Dungeon this will look really well with kidnapping part of your mod combined with the dungeon added by this mod.

 

I need to fnish the update before making more stuff, it will then be possible to add more events easily and I have some ideas, but for now I'm just improving/fixing stuff already in the mod and I think it won't ever end. :P

Got the same problem. After follower tries to move towwards him/herself, he/she gets stuck and i need to respawn them via the console in order to at least make them walk and follow me again.

Maybe defeat handles the follower also as a possible NPC to interact with the victim, and then makes their AI go bonkers. But I'm no pro at the subject. Really hoping for a fix!

Whenever npcs or followers get stuck go to the defeat MCM menu... Under general settings in the right hand column there will be an option called clean.... click on it exit all menus and wait for the notification ... your npcs should be back to normal now... also i mean the defeat clean option not the sexlab framework clean option ... they are two different things

This is very informative. I have made a habit of getting Sexlab to work before doing anything else on a new character, found it easier to work with this way.

I might email you later about it, but I am starting to understand a little about the tags. The problem relies onto the system determining whom is male and whom is female. The female first isn't working obviously, and I feel it does stir some confusion when it doesn't work. There's also only one female/male option, and not a male/female option. I'd say seperate the two, so that the two different toggles will perform differently, along with restrictions being read and animations that are enabled to play. Such as the female/male animation toggle will only register to blowjobs, boobjobs, femdom, cowgirl, etc, whereas the male/female will register missionary, doggy, etc etc, whereas it's restriction is against cowgirl, femdom, etc etc.

That way, the code itself is cleaner, organized, and the user can read and understand what is what and how it can register.

 

Other than that, I can see why this mod was updated. I am starting to like fuzzybizness animations more and more. I'm posting suggestions for more amazon rape animations. Those are kinky as hell

Decided to go ahead and add a post for others with "Can't get Defeat to work on a new game" . I've never had this issue, and now I know why. It's because when I start a new game, I active Sexlab before I start any other Sexlab dependent mod. (thank you hamthe3rd for pointing it out)

 

The MCM loads your mods alphabetically, and not their load order, for ease of finding things when needed.

First, Check your load order, game loads fine...

Activate mods in game as close to your load order as possible...

In Some cases you actually need to start the Alternate game start mod prior to starting the other mods. (I don't have this issue with Skyrim unbound, and it's the last thing for me to actually set up)

ie... Defeat NEEDS Sexlab to run... So activate Sexlab first.

Set up Sexlab With Creature Support. (this usually kicks in the creature mod pack animations, and Zaz animation packs)

Then go into the mods that use Sexlab, and that require activation (for me, it's straight to Defeat, you may have other mods in your load order that require activation prior to defeat) and set up the mod's selections.

 

If you follow this, and Defeat has issues, then move Defeat down in the load order (I keep Defeat last of Sexlab related mods to ensure it works). Just keep in mind, if you move Defeat and it starts working, then the mod it conflicts with will most likely break at some point.

 

This simple directive should help those still having issues with getting Defeat to work.

 

* Animations you don't want running, crop up every now and then? Goubo has an sexlab animation tool that works wonders even if you can't use Sexlab's position changer... Choose sex type (for me it's missionary), then choose the preferred animation over the one that is being played.

Yeah sorry about that bug, it's a simple mistake I forgot to exclude the victim herself in the search for an aggressor, it will be fixed next update.

You can use clean up option by either pressing 0 (by default) to open the option menu or go directly in MCM, it should unstuck the follower.

Female first do work I just tested but I changed the function quite a bit so I'm not sure it worked before, I feel like a male/female is not really needed because it's basically the "Sexual Assault" option.

It'd be *really* great if we could get a distinction between giving and receiving just outright, for pretty much everything. My character's a Futa and, because the game doesn't acknowledge that she has a cock instead of a pussy it causes issues all over the place with people attempting to fuck or fist something that isn't there.

 

And I know you're not looking to put new features in right this minute, but using sexlab gender, or at least having the option to, instead of the game's would be very helpful.

Defeat should already use sexlab gender instead of the game's function and work accordingly, never tested changing the gender of the player though.

hm... That's odd... It's the only one I could think of that might be handling defeat/rape/consentual scenes that might be treating my character as female despite sexlab saying male.

Hey Goubo, I've seen this a bit and I think it's (or one way for it to occur often) when a rape is about to happen, but the enemy gets pulled away by combat.  Leaving only the victim to have a scene with.  In this case, even an enemy search will come up empty in many cases.

 

Very common with a follower when they go down and you're not using the all down function.  The enemy that would be rapest now goes for you instead, and the follower does herself (follower moves towards follower) as enemy is in combat.  If however you are stealthed, it works as the enemy doesn't get distracted and can be selected.

 

Another way to code this (in theory, no idea about actual skyrim limits), is have the option to allow the rape even with the PC still up.  I'd actually like this as sending my follower in as a 'distraction', and then looting chests while the enemy is 'busy' is pretty funny.  But currently it's difficult as you have to send the follower in, and then hide or the animation breaks.

 

Maybe an allow rape, but can be broken on combat damage from the PC.

Yeah this particular function was seperated from the main function, the options should work now, note that if no animation are found for the configuration of tags it'll run the aggressive set of animations where the female will take the role of the victim if female first is enabled (if it works properly)

It works by making the script wait for the combat to end but the problem was that I did not exclude the victim for choosing themself.

 

I'm going to see if I can code something to make the assault happen mid combat it shouldn't be too hard but it's going to create even more problems :P

I've always loved Defeat, and it will be nice to have an update for it.

And I have to double check to be sure you exclude children from both aggressive and victim lists, so I can have my children with me again from the BF mod.

I think another issue I notice is some mods are no longer compatible with Defeat due to Defeat occasionally updating. Example, Dangerous Nights hasn't been up to date since last year and seeing Defeat now relies on tags, Dangerous no longer reads Defeat and assumes the attacker is male. Same story with Eager NPC's, though it usually requires configuration for the NPC, though it does represent Defeat scripts to an extent. I think this is why I was having animation issues because now Defeat works the way it should thanks to a specific user on here advising me an editor that enables me to read the tags, and understand each one.

 

Off topic, any idea what mod to suggest to replace Dangerous? Needs to be a sleep rape mod.

I... don't think there is one. None that cover it happening to you anyway.

Dangerous Nights was in flux when the mod creater gave up/took a hiatus. The whole update the last time seemed to be clean up and testing to see if he could impliment some things for the next patch. I usually take the conversation down to 0%, as it throws everything off and is not quite right, and have Males only and followers never attack but can be victems themselves.

 

I hope he can get back to it at some point, but really don't hold out much hope. I think some of the sleep things in other mods (you got something in Defeat, Goubo?) could replace Dangerous nights and I will take it off my load order at some point.

Just hang on, It might be in this update that is upcoming, or one soon, there was talk about Defeat gaining Stalkers/rapists.

I have a small feature request for future versions of this mod:

 

Instead of the mark + bash system for knockdowns, can we have an option in the MCM for using the same system as in V4? In V4 you could take a chokehold on enemies mid-combat (if their health was under a user-defined threshold), and you could even kill them with the choke, which made for a pretty cool combat move. I'd like that feature back if the mod-author has time and interest in doing so.

 

Also, thanks for all of your work. This is a great mod!
