I have used it's earlier versions and they were all top notch.I downloaded this newest version after a long hiatus from Skyrim and had a bit of a problem getting it to work. Here are some details on what I have tried- I upgraded: skse 1.7.1 sexlab framework 159c FNIS (latest) FNIS Creature (latest) Then downloaded: UIExtensions Death Alternative SexLab - Defeat V5.0.2 I am using the latest version of Nexus Mod Manager to install everything. After doing all this I ran FNIS then BOSS. (using admin privileges) I then started a new save game. So no previous scripts. My problem is that when I start the game there is no MCM menu for defeat and pressing 0 or shift+0 does nothing. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Thanks so much for your time.
Feldspare Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 For anyone having problem with the MCM menu not showing up, open the console and type: setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1 It should repopulate the MCM. This is a fix for any mod that has issues showing up in MCM. This did not help me with the MCM menu not displaying. I did receive a message in the top left that said "40 MCM menus found" or something but no Defeat menu.
Dinosaurus Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 I appreciate your mode Goubo. I just have some problems after going to v5.02. Somtimes the mod works like a charm, other times it fails to initiate. When I surrender the npcs stare at me for a while then continue attacking. Other times after my health reaches the threshold for DA, Defeat doesnt take into affect and the npcs continue to wail on me. Ive reinstalled mod and tried new games several times. Any advice from anyone on how to fix this. I wanna use it BAAAADDD! Actually I've encountered one more problem, i had too problem back in 5 v3.3 beta too. After you surrender, when I choose the option to submit, the aggressor just walks away and continues their patrol while I'm stuck and unable to move. The NPC will say "Come closer" but then nothing will happen. Anyone else have this problem? i never had this problem in previous versions of Defeat (so for me Defeat V5b3.3fixed was fine), however i am occassionally getting this problem now. It's not always an issue, and it only happens sometimes when i voluntarily surrender (default K key). If i don't surrender and Defeat 5.0.2 triggers on it's own everything plays fine.. But sometimes when i manually surrender with K.. the npcs will go through their dialogue like "Oh, what will you give me if i let you go?" (or whatever it is they say exactly, sorry for paraphrasing) and then i get the option to say like "Okay take my money." or "Just take what you want" etc.. if i pick "just take whatever you want" and the npc says like "Oh ya i'll take what i want, hahah." ... then.. nothing happens. i uploaded a screen shot of it, but i don't know if it'll help. During this time period me and the npcs who would have been involved in the rape are like "frozen". We're *not* in t-pose or anything. No one strips down. It's weird. i'm going to do some bare bones testing in a moment just running like only Defeat and it's dependancies on an otherwise vanilla game to see if i can make it happen. Maybe there's a mod conflict going on for all of us or something else. Again... if i *don't* surrender and just basically allow a bleedout/blackout/death event to trigger on its own the Defeat events go off fine (i'm running Death Alternative, and SD Plus as well so maybe there's a conflict there? - but with "Defeat V5b3.3fixed" there was never an issue). Oh also this is on a brand new game and save, so i didn't "upgrade" from Defeat V5b3.3fixed to Defeat 5.0.2, i started a whole fresh game. My race is just the vanilla race of Imperial. But like i use Multi-Floor Sandboxing, and Organized Bandits, i wonder if maybe that's pushing npcs to do 'stuff' instead of obeying what Defeat wants them to do? i just finished doing a bunch of testing but now i cannot reproduce the issue jmuch now that i want to >.< Even with my full load of mods running i've tried K/Surrender a dozen times now during my tests to try to pinpoint the cause and it has only happened once. i mean, the defeat event seems to play properly after i surrender now... except that one time! BLAH Maybe check it's installed correctly, I use NMM and never had that happen EDIT: I just ran some tests, no problem after uninstalling and reinstalling Skyrim Bound, but when I tried the latest CBBE mod the racemenu esp shows as ticked but gets unticked when running LOOT and needs manually ticking a second time for LOOT to see it, so it looks like it's worth keeping an eye out for that in future. Even ctd when trying to save game, which made uninstalling fun lol. Managed to roll back tho and everything stable once again, so will hang till it looks more sorted. Thank you for al the hard work that you so clearly have invested in this mod - it's awesome! Update: Thank you to a number of posters in this thread (as well as a couple of other threads I'm in) that gave some idea on what might be wrong! Cleaned some iffy scripts etc. and have installed 502. Was pretty stable last night while playing, the sack mechanic is a blast lol. Had a ctd just outside of Dawnstar but methinks it's not your mod's fault lol. I have Alicia randomly turning up (cos I don't know how to finish her quests lol), and she attacked one of the bandits I had tied up, mid combat, this caused my followers to attack her as well and all hell broke loose! Seconds later ctd! Will try to trigger more scenes later and see. Thanks again for an awesome mod! /quack quack DOOM! OK, returned to the Dawnstar scene (cos I need to get back a Daedric weapon Alicia took from my home!), this time I did not tie up any bandit attackers. Surrendered part way thru fight and my followers stopped also (currently have 5 followers), leaving Alicia to fight alone! She killed them all but 1, who knocked her down and assaulted her. All my followers appeared in 2 poses tied up (hogtied or kneeling). During this assault one of the DEAD bandits came back to life and assaulted my PC (just standing there cannot move or open menus). After the assault the bandit snuffed it again lol! After the live bandit finished with Alicia he assaulted my PC, then after that he assaulted one of my followers. Each time my PC stood up but I had no control. After the scene ended, all but 1 of my followers returned to normal - one of them stayed tied-up kneeling. Fast travel did return her to normal and removed the tie-up/kneel. No ctd at any time. U R an AWESOME Modder
datjellyman Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 I have a problem. For some reason it wont work half the time when I lose a fight. A lot of times my character will just get down on the floor and just stays there. No one tries to do anything and my character never stands back up. I don't know if it's this mod or Death Alternative.
Slorm Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 @Goubo I finally made some sense of the mod loading issue, which appears to be a fault in how NMM 54.10 handles FOMOD (thanks to Feldspare for initially pointing in out). I've tested it with Defeat 5.0.2 and the latest CBBE release as well and both exhibit the same behaviour: 1/ On install the esp is checked 2/ Run LOOT and it reports one less active mod than the total number of mods 3/ In NMM the esp is now unchecked 4/ Manually check the esp 5/ Run LOOT again and the mod is now recognised I've reported as a bug, hopefully they'll get it fixed Nota Bene: This does not seem to affect normal mods which are packaged to drop into /data it only affects mods with a FOMOD
Vuulgar Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Great job on the update and thank you for spending what has to be a large amount of your spare time on Defeat, it adds a whole different dimension to Skyrim whether you play male or female. And even with such a complex mod I have very few things that dont quite work right. My male pc cannot grab followers anymore, this used to work and it may be a change rather than a bug. Second, after I do grab someone and force them to strip bringing up the lovely body comment, nothing happens after that....I can go back into dialogue and tie them up then rape or whatever but sex after the lovely body is def not triggering for me. Lots of good changes, especially some of the comments and dialogues, poses after assaults....awesome. I suspect someone has brought this up before and I am sure you get sick of suggestions and requests so I am going to add another......http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1809-serialstrip/.....thissequence instead of the current strip, if thats even possible. Those strip animations are really good and to this point not really used.
sidfu Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 on my game when i chose to kill a roped enmy thru the defeat menu i crash 100% the time. checked the log and it didtn show any error it just crashes. i have both defeat and da installed.

I'll try to fiddle with it tonight and see what happens

If you don't have it, install it and do that.

I bag them all and place them accordingly in a semi-circle. I take the women and rape them one-by-one in the middle of the circle, in front of the others. A CTD occurs when I attempt to kill someone after raping an NPC. It doesn't have to be the person I've raped. As long as they're in the vicinity of the rape and I kill them, I get a CTD. Confirmed after 11 crashes in a row. HOW TO REPEAT BUG: Tie up several NPCs and rape one. When you attempt to attack any other tied NPCs, raped or not, the game will CTD. Attempting to save will also result in a CTD. BEST METHOD OF AVOIDING BUG: After raping an NPC, I approach each one, place them in a bag, then release them back onto the floor, tied. I perform this with each rape, and 70% of the time it alleviates the CTD's. It's become such a nuisance that I made this as my first post on an alternative account. I love this mod, as I do Skyrim. It adds so much immersion, but it sucks that there's so many CTDs after a rape. But here are some more details about the events that take place: Press k to surrender Asked to drop weapon Asked to remove clothes Reply with ... The NPC says something like "Heh" (NPC is some bandit) Then NPC says "Come here..." Then dialog ends, NPC moves back to patrol route. Other NPCs in the area moves next to PC Tried waiting for a few hours but they just hang around PC but nothing happens and PC cannot move, all controls locked. All 3 option in defeat is on.

When I and my follower (this case, Cicero) had a combat with a number of pirates, I found the message "Cicero moves toward 000" on the screen. I've put a lot of checks in the script to stop the NPC aggressor if the victim is dead but I guess it does not yet works 100%. I don't think Clean up function removes the spell properly so to fix it since it's not a permanent spell you can just use wait in game, the spell last 10minutes so I guess 4 hours? Great job on the update and thank you for spending what has to be a large amount of your spare time on Defeat, it adds a whole different dimension to Skyrim whether you play male or female. And even with such a complex mod I have very few things that dont quite work right. My male pc cannot grab followers anymore, this used to work and it may be a change rather than a bug. Second, after I do grab someone and force them to strip bringing up the lovely body comment, nothing happens after that....I can go back into dialogue and tie them up then rape or whatever but sex after the lovely body is def not triggering for me. Lots of good changes, especially some of the comments and dialogues, poses after assaults....awesome. I suspect someone has brought this up before and I am sure you get sick of suggestions and requests so I am going to add another......http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1809-serialstrip/.....thissequence instead of the current strip, if thats even possible. Those strip animations are really good and to this point not really used. Thanks will fix this. I suppose I could add a SerialStrip support since it uses events yep, will see about this after I fix a few things. @Goubo I finally made some sense of the mod loading issue, which appears to be a fault in how NMM 54.10 handles FOMOD (thanks to Feldspare for initially pointing in out). I've tested it with Defeat 5.0.2 and the latest CBBE release as well and both exhibit the same behaviour: 1/ On install the esp is checked 2/ Run LOOT and it reports one less active mod than the total number of mods 3/ In NMM the esp is now unchecked 4/ Manually check the esp 5/ Run LOOT again and the mod is now recognised I've reported as a bug, hopefully they'll get it fixed Nota Bene: This does not seem to affect normal mods which are packaged to drop into /data it only affects mods with a FOMOD Oh ok thanks, use MO guys. HounDog Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I've been using defeat for some time and it has become one of my essentials. but since last night i'm trying it with Death Alternative and i was hoping someone here could help me understand what the Post assault page does and how to set it up. More specifically, what does the different events do? and how do i get them to trigger? (are they even something that can be triggered?) what i did is that installed DA and went to some bandit camp to test it out, after tweaking some options, i get the following: Get defeated/raped > get DA event, thief, rescue, inn etc > END (never got the defeat event) OR get defeated/raped > escape > END All is good up to this point but i still didn't know what the events are so i unchecked all the DA scenarios and in Defeat i enabled bandit events and set it up to 100% chance and then this is what i get: get defeated > die > END As you can see i have no clue of what i'm doing, for a moment i tought that "get defeated/raped" was the event itself but then the option DA post assault (in player as victim) wouldn't make sense so I'm pretty sure it's something dumb on my part so please be gentle lol. As usually most of them are my fault but I just thought you sould know. 1. Updating from version V5b3.3, although it is still a V5 (kinda) version, still requires a clean save. 2. If in the "Tie options" you chose to change the ties to "Permanent" the pose of the victim changes. As It should I imagine. If however after that you choose to "loosen ties" the pose does not change back. The scripts however do work as after a while they get loose. 3. I do not see an option to change their pose as the menu suggest. I do have that UIExtension mod installed. 4. Zaz animations do not work. The characters just stand there. NOT in T Pose. However, in my game ZAZ animation cannot register with SexLab as I am waaaaaaaaay over the animation limit. So thats propably it. 5. When you grab someone they get to the "bleeding animation". At that point the followers stop attacking that NPC. If you choose to tie them up, The NPC briefly stands up, and the followers attack her/him. At that point you have to rape them imidietly (so that the followers stop attacking her) otherwise the followers will kill the tied NPC. I use AFT and I cannot confirm that it is NOT AFT's fault. (this did happen with all previous versions as well)

I bag them all and place them accordingly in a semi-circle. I take the women and rape them one-by-one in the middle of the circle, in front of the others. A CTD occurs when I attempt to kill someone after raping an NPC. It doesn't have to be the person I've raped. As long as they're in the vicinity of the rape and I kill them, I get a CTD. Confirmed after 11 crashes in a row. HOW TO REPEAT BUG: Tie up several NPCs and rape one. When you attempt to attack any other tied NPCs, raped or not, the game will CTD. Attempting to save will also result in a CTD. BEST METHOD OF AVOIDING BUG: After raping an NPC, I approach each one, place them in a bag, then release them back onto the floor, tied. I perform this with each rape, and 70% of the time it alleviates the CTD's. It's become such a nuisance that I made this as my first post on an alternative account. I love this mod, as I do Skyrim. It adds so much immersion, but it sucks that there's so many CTDs after a rape. If anybody can help with this, or give me instructions on how to specifically find a bug on my papyrus log, please do so. - SexLab Defeat - SexLab Submit - SexLab Romance - SexLab MatchMaker - SexLab Aroused - SexLab StopCombat - CBBE i have a simlar problem also 100% crash if i try to kill a npc that ive raped and they are roped. i can veryfy that its not matchmaker,submit,stop combat causing it as i have none of those installed i just have defeat and death alternative installed. basicaly what happens u go to kill the npc and u start the punch to death kill blow but right when they would die game ctd. as there no error in log i can only think of is that its ether cause they tied up is buggign it(but u cant kill them if they not tied up) or its the forceing of a death move on a 100% hp person. in my limited testing it was 100% crash rate if u chose kill while they tired up from defeat menu. u can kill them fine by regular attacks even if they tied up. so the issue comes to the kill move. i use violens so its possible a conflict. after the 10 times i tried it i can verfiy it goes thru the animation all way to end but right when the anmaiton for the death move finishes and u would release there body is when it crashes. one thing i noticed is that the tie permantly is random if it keeps them tired up over saves. a example is i had 4 people tied up in my home. it stayed fine over around 4 game loads on 4th load for some reason they either disappear and be back to there old place or they magicaly become untied walk a bit then disappear. might want to look at how the mod Display model mod from LL does it. forgot that on hostile npc when u chose to tie them once they tied companions start attacking them again as they go back to hostile. Have you tried to TAB out and then go straight back into change pose? Every time I try it I get the cursor change but no menu appears. If I TAB out and go straight back to pose the menu is there for me to select a pose. Happens every time. On a different note, last night I assaulted an npc and put her in a sack (named npc going to the wedding in Solitude). I then left the cell and entered Randbthar. When I let her out of the sack there was no npc? Tried a second time and the same - sack disappeared and no npc. Saved/loaded and wouldn't let me drop the sack (thought I saw something about this here but can't seem to track it down!).
