Rescue:

 

Doesen't the clean up function works in this case? Is your char sit on the bed? Can you see your UI?

 

The AI problem:

Well quite frankly I don't see and don't know why they act like that, I tried a few things to fix this but nothing worked, that's not a priority but I'll try to find a workaround for this.

No the clean up doesn't work basically the pc remains seated on on the bed, I found only using Restore from the Player Control Centre in ZAP would reset it. I can't remember regarding the UI, perhaps Nutluck can remember. I only had it installed for testing purpose for my live game I'm still using V5b3.3fixed which runs reliably for me.

 

AI

 

This happens with DH and other mods, in fact I think it happens in Vanilla. Silent Moons Camp is a classic spot for this with bandits running off to chase mudcrabs.

Thanks for the reply, I just tried doing what you suggested but no luck.  Does the new Defeat appear under the MCM menu? and what is the name that it goes under?  Also does it have an installing message?

 

 

I had problems with installing with NMM and had to repackage before if would work.

 

The quick way to test is run LOOT before installing and keep a note of the mod count, install and run LOOT again and if the mod number hasn't increased it would indicate you had the same problem as me.

 

If that's the case and Goubo doesn't mind I'll pm you my repackaged copy (it just has the data files and esp no Fomod or documents)

For anyone having problem with the MCM menu not showing up, open the console and type:

 

setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1

 

It should repopulate the MCM. This is a fix for any mod that has issues showing up in MCM.

Can companions rob on their own now? Just had a fight with a bandit mage, bashed him, then saw a message "Vilja approaches the Bandit.". Suddenly he's standing there naked and Vilja's wearing his robes. Thought she was going to rape him, but instead just took his stuff.

 

Just she didn't like the outfit I made her wear. LoL

Goubo - all works as a charm. Have one idea if it is possible to implement - is it possible to add 3way sex chance when my follower or me is about to rape knocked down bandit? Something like Submit mod has.

I appreciate your mode Goubo. I just have some problems after going to v5.02. Somtimes the mod works like a charm, other times it fails to initiate. When I surrender the npcs stare at me for a while then continue attacking. Other times after my health reaches the threshold for DA, Defeat doesnt take into affect and the npcs continue to wail on me. Ive reinstalled mod and tried new games several times. Any advice from anyone on how to fix this. I wanna use it BAAAADDD!

There is a 3some chance if the PC is the victim. Not sure about if the PC is the aggressor. There is a setting on the chance of a 3some in the MCM menu, you can adjust it up or down. I think default it is 20%.

Thanks Nutluck, and I apologize for not be cleared enough. I know about the options in "PC/follower as victims", but I wish my PC/follower to ask each other if want to join in 3way sex once any of them knock down the enemy. Such a thing doesn't exist in PC/follower as aggressors". :)

NPC vs. NPC had the same option in the previous version, for both playable race and creatures.  I never could get it to trigger, though, even with both set to 100% probability, in the old version.  For that matter I could never get it to trigger on my followers if they were brought down by my PC going down, though if they were defeated in combat while I was still up, Defeat would properly trigger.  But just as a one-on-one.

I uninstalled Defeat V5beta already thinking I could install the new - but can not.

I was able to convert file to a zip and was able to install.

But haven't played yet to make sure it works.

 

Yes; the first time I downloaded the for 5.beta it was a .rar, but for some reason it changed this time to a .tgz - It has happened on several other files from this site ]]

That is odd cause when I DL defeat it is a rar file.

 

I just checked just now and downloaded it again to see if anything changed and it was a .rar file. So not sure what's going on for you.

The feature "tie permanently" doesn't work for me. I keep two permanently tied victims in Breezehome. After waiting 24h on the street of Whiterun, I saw both of them walking out of my house. Tested two time with the same result. Help? One time I left for 3 days and found nobody home, only to find said victim returning to his original home, doing regular routine.

 

on that make sure u have the papyrusuitlies installed right. i had that issue then with MO i moved it above sexlab and so far they staying tied. sexlab uses custom built papyrusutility files so if u use a normal papyrusutilies it causes some mods issues.

 

to put it in short u want to use use sexlabs papyrusutility files and not the papyrusutility v 28 files but for the ones that sexlab dont provide.

 

also found another kinda bug when u defeat say a bandit my companions stoped attacking them but moment i tied them up they started attacking again.

 

 

I don't think papyrusuiltlies is a required mod for Defeat and Sexlab, but I installed it anyway as you said, except that I didn't find a .esp for me to move it in the loading order. Anyway, sadly it didn't work. They still escaped right before my eyes.

Change it to *.fomod ,then it will work on MO, I did that and it runs just fine.

im coming to skyrim after a long time last time i played defeat with beta v5 version yesterday i played with 5.0.2 on a new game and i didn't saw DA options in defeat MCM menu are those removed now ? i can see defeat options in DA MCM menu should i select those or keep using defeat's own system now also i saw new addition animation controller menu which is nice when i tried using that in game by pressing 0 my game kinda froze im using EFF and description says it has UI extension mod i don't know what to do now.

Actually I've encountered one more problem, i had too problem back in 5 v3.3 beta too.  After you surrender, when I choose the option to submit, the aggressor just walks away and continues their patrol while I'm stuck and unable to move.  The NPC will say "Come closer" but then nothing will happen.  Anyone else have this problem?

First of all, great Mod!

I'm using the actual Version with the new Scripts for the Sack u posted a few Pages back.

Atm i'm playing as Male PC and testing the Functions.

I encountered a bug and dunno if it's my Problem or comes from the Mod.

I'll pick a sleeping Female NPC at Night from her bed and put her in the Sack.

When i release her i have the Dialogues to undress her and engage her...

So after i told her to undress and then choosing the "Nice Body..." (Rape) nothing happens, no Animations starts.

Everything else i've tested so far works like a charm.

Did you try to reuse the 0 hotkey to open the menu? It dosen't show up the first time you use the key (don't know why yet)

 

 

I was meaning to ask you something related to this.

 

Would it be possible to disable blackout events when you surrender? I'm actually not sure if this is already done, but I'm sure I've experienced blackouts in these cases.  It makes sense to me that they wouldn't treat you as bad as if you had tried to resist. Of course, surrendering shouldn't mean that you're safe, but gameplay-wise it would be something useful.

 

Also, something that I would find useful would be that hotkeys could be disabled. Even when I use the mod fully, most of the times I don't really use the majority of the hotkeys, but you must assign them nevertheless.

 

Hm I agree, It could be done quite easily, I will add an option in post assault for that, it is already the case if the surrender ends up  in a consensual scene, though the end is brutal the fight resume immediately if the aggressor was aggressive, will do something for this too.

Yeah they can, if a rape dosen't trigger (because of the morality, active satisfied buff or sex combination if knock down by everyone is enabled) the follower can rob or kill the vic.

A follower command should give you the option for 3way.

That's awesome. I was thinking of using the surrender feature as some sort of escape trick to avoid getting kicked away from a dungeon after a blackout. While using this mod with DA is really nice, sometimes all we want is to get our ladies through a dungeon even if that means fucking everything that dwells there, lol.

I was thinking more on the lines of cleanliness. Right now you can assign the hotkeys to the Esc key, something I've done accidentally thinking that I was disabling them. A simple check for that one to unassign the hotkey shouldn't really take much time to code.

i never had this problem in previous versions of Defeat (so for me Defeat V5b3.3fixed was fine), however i am occassionally getting this problem now. It's not always an issue, and it only happens sometimes when i voluntarily surrender (default K key). If i don't surrender and Defeat 5.0.2 triggers on it's own everything plays fine..

 

But sometimes when i manually surrender with K.. the npcs will go through their dialogue like "Oh, what will you give me if i let you go?" (or whatever it is they say exactly, sorry for paraphrasing) and then i get the option to say like "Okay take my money." or "Just take what you want" etc.. if i pick "just take whatever you want" and the npc says like "Oh ya i'll take what i want, hahah." ... then.. nothing happens.

 

i uploaded a screen shot of it, but i don't know if it'll help.

 

During this time period me and the npcs who would have been involved in the rape are like "frozen". We're *not* in t-pose or anything. No one strips down. It's weird. i'm going to do some bare bones testing in a moment just running like only Defeat and it's dependancies on an otherwise vanilla game to see if i can make it happen. Maybe there's a mod conflict going on for all of us or something else.

 

Again... if i *don't* surrender and just basically allow a bleedout/blackout/death event to trigger on its own the Defeat events go off fine (i'm running Death Alternative, and SD Plus as well so maybe there's a conflict there? - but with "Defeat V5b3.3fixed" there was never an issue).

 

Oh also this is on a brand new game and save, so i didn't "upgrade" from Defeat V5b3.3fixed to Defeat 5.0.2, i started a whole fresh game.

My race is just the vanilla race of Imperial.

Dinosaurus I have had that happen too, but so far every time it is cause the NPC that starts the dialogue walks off to do another AI package. Like go sit in a nearby chair, stir a pot over a fire etc. While any other NPC's stand around staring at my PC.

Ooo.. you seem to be right. i actually use a few mods that maybe make that chance worse??. But like i use Multi-Floor Sandboxing, and Organized Bandits, i wonder if maybe that's pushing npcs to do 'stuff' instead of obeying what Defeat wants them to do?

 

i just finished doing a bunch of testing but now i cannot reproduce the issue jmuch now that i want to >.< Even with my full load of mods running i've tried K/Surrender a dozen times now during my tests to try to pinpoint the cause and it has only happened once. i mean, the defeat event seems to play properly after i surrender now... except that one time! And that one time the bandit who i'd had the dialogue with *did* walk off as you say to go do something else.. and then me and the rest where stuck in "frozen in place" mode. So you're definitely right.

 

Thanks for the hint on what might be causing it though. i suppose it doesn't happen often enough to be a big issue, but, still!

You're welcome and yeah it doesn't happen all the time even if places it can happen. But it happens sometimes, it seems to be a case of defeat triggers. Dialogue happens and then before Defeat can trigger the sex AI package Skyrim or another mod AI kicks in at that moment and they go off to do something else. Since as you say even in the same spot it doesn't always happen.

 

So that seems to be what the cause is, least from my testing that is the impression I am getting. As it happens more often when there are other things the NPC can sandbox doing. Not sure how Goubo could fix that though and so far it doesn't happen all that often but it does happen.
