I downloaded the mod SexLab - Defeat V5.0.2.rar and added it using the NMM 0.54.10 it prompted me with a few messages about English install, UI extension and MO stuff and it installed without errors. But when I start my game, either new game or load game that did not have the old versions installed, I cannot see any evidence of the mod working or being on. No messages about new MCM menu entries, no message about SL being installed. I tried walking around and waiting and fast travelling but nothing, as if the mod doesn't exists. I did run FNIS right after NMM activation so I have no idea what I am missing to install/start this mod.

First it is not a short coming of the author, since it works perfectly fine for me and apparently most people. You have been repeatedly asked for more information on exactly what is happening and you have not provide it. The simple fact is with out more information it is pretty much impossible to help you. I understand English is not your native language but while I understand what your issue is, with out more information there is no way to even guess what might be the cause. If you can describe exactly step by step exactly what happens when defeat triggers, for example like this. My character gets hit and defeat triggers, NPC comes over and removes my characters clothes. NPC then has sex with my character, after sex my character stands up and just stands there. Next NPC comes over and has sex with my character, afterwards my character stands up and just stands there. Once the last NPC is done, my character just stands there, I can fill up the resist bar and then run away. Is that what is happening? or is this happening? My character gets hit and defeat triggers, NPC comes over and removes my characters clothes. NPC then has sex with my character, after sex my character stands up and just stands there. After that nothing happens until I use the resist bar and then run away. Both of my above examples has your character not laying on the ground but the issue that is causing it would be very different. Which is why we need more information.

In the previous version of Defeat I was able to do this quite easily. Defeat would get the bleedout events and DA would get the blackout events. I've tried different combinations in the Defeat Post Assault menu and the DA bleedout menu. In game Defeat seems to dominate, after a Defeat triggered bleedout all I get are Defeat blackout events.

It might be that you have to many mods that use animations, I believe there is a limit so perhaps the defeat laying ones are being left out. Not honestly sure but that is my first guess, since the new defeat has several laying down animations more than the old one and some other new animations. Also does it have an installing message? Yes it appears in the MCM menu and it has the same name as always defeat, with no caps. Yes it does have a install message that will show up in the upper left corner. It shouldn't take very long for it to install though, of course it depends on your system.

You can disable bleedout mechanics of Defeat (Health threshold, exhaustion and stun) and Defeat will start on DA's bleedout. (to be set in DA's MCM) It's a little complicated but in fact not really once you get it.

I can even rape foes that my follower knocked down. So saying that the mod is unfinished and that is not working doesn't hold the water. There is probably something else in your game that causing conflict with Defeat or/and some of its dependencies/requirements. Your load order and log file might be helpful.

After waiting 24h on the street of Whiterun, I saw both of them walking out of my house. Tested two time with the same result. Help? One time I left for 3 days and found nobody home, only to find said victim returning to his original home, doing regular routine.

wulfgear09 Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 I am back and well .... i was able to get the zaz animations to load after disabling all the Ap animations and a few others i don't like. and the surrender works as far as making attackers stop but they all just walk away. i can now get all the defeat factors to fire ie wound threshold, exhaustion and stun. but only if i use the console command tim. otherwise they just kill me . my system isn't the greatest and things afire off a few seconds late so this maybe on my end. i guess. i just removed DA and Sd cause well after a while it gets kinda old and i really dont like DA just to much for me to use . my paper does not show anything misfiring just not firing. I am sure none of this helps you but I am trying cause this is one of my favorite mods.

Would it be possible to disable blackout events when you surrender? I'm actually not sure if this is already done, but I'm sure I've experienced blackouts in these cases. It makes sense to me that they wouldn't treat you as bad as if you had tried to resist. Of course, surrendering shouldn't mean that you're safe, but gameplay-wise it would be something useful. Also, something that I would find useful would be that hotkeys could be disabled. Even when I use the mod fully, most of the times I don't really use the majority of the hotkeys, but you must assign them nevertheless.

It's easier for me to reproduce the problem, which is the best way to fix it. Kilkreath ruins, where meridias daedric quest takes place. 1 follower, ("dismissed, but hang around here" AFT option). Testing in other locations (lost knife redoubt, dead mans respite) worked fine. By now i believe trouble only occured in kilkreath. Cant remember modifying it anyway, but its 2 y/o skyrim installation, could be. Thanks for your reply, since it turned out to be a location-specific trouble, i believe its something to be overlooked. Thanks again for your work, idk how much effort it takes to create, but somehow i imagine its alot.

One time I left for 3 days and found nobody home, only to find said victim returning to his original home, doing regular routine. on that make sure u have the papyrusuitlies installed right. i had that issue then with MO i moved it above sexlab and so far they staying tied. sexlab uses custom built papyrusutility files so if u use a normal papyrusutilies it causes some mods issues. to put it in short u want to use use sexlabs papyrusutility files and not the papyrusutility v 28 files but for the ones that sexlab dont provide. also found another kinda bug when u defeat say a bandit my companions stoped attacking them but moment i tied them up they started attacking again.

What I meant is that in the previous version of Defeat and DA I was able to have Defeat trigger on the Bleedout event and DA to trigger on the Blackout event. I think you are right, it is a little complicated but not really. Part of it may have been my not being thorough enough when reading the MCM options. I went back and looked at Defeat post assualt page and I've made one change. DA seems to control Blackout now but there is a strange pause after a rape where the character sits there covering herself. All the attackers are calm for a bit and then attack again. If my character is beaten I then get a DA Blackout event. This has only triggered once since the change so I need to test it some more. I will let you know what I discover and post again.

I noticed some crash-to-desktops right after Death Alternative's bleedout should have been triggered (I disabled all Defeat knockout options), which didn't happen before 5.0.2. Now I don't want to blame this to Defeat 5.0.2, but I'm not entirely sure what causes this, since I'm not sure what to look for in the logs (I set them to trace). In the log, I can see several warnings which seem related to the mod DUEL - Combat Realism and some errors which seem to be related to Creature Framework. I did not have those crashs before updating to 5.0.2, and I didn't change any mods or load order. I just ask this here because I did not have this problem while I tested Defeat 5.0 and after updating, they happen rather frequently. Update: Nevermind, there were 2 abandoned scripts running in the save file. Erasing them solved the problem.
