My companion just keep following the NPC with weapon out but never actually trigger any animation. I've tried disabling NPC vs NPC, disabling the mod and disable/enable both NPC in console but they are just stuck in a loop. Any help please?

I'm about to start a new playthough, so question: Will I be able to update to the next version without issues on an ongoing game or would it be better to play without the current version installed at all and then install the new version once it's released? And: Good to hear about the update! Got a quick summery on fixed, changes, new stuff planned? Even if I don't have problems with a old Defeat save when I try v5, it will probably need a clean save, it's easier that way honestly. Plus it exists some easy to use mods to clean up a save properly from its orphan scripts, anyway I've deleted/altered a lot of properties in the scripts so a mod like that will be needed on saves that used Defeat if you don't want skyrim to throw useless errors in the log, I'll make this clear in the change log. Sorry to add to the list of bugs. My activation key ("A" on my gamepad) is disabled even after rebinding the key and reloading the save. Edit: enableplayercontrols seems to work, however, now I can't mine. I don't know how much other functions this mod disables. When? After a player as victim scene? You need to wait 10 seconds or run away far enough in this case. And this can't mine bug is from something else.

K0b01d Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Hey, not sure if this problem was already discussed or not but, when I get knocked down from battle and enter the bleedout effect, nothing happens. I made a test character, and I ran up to some bandits on purpose just to see if this mod worked. They fought me, knocked me down, walked up and stripped me then took away my weapons but after that they just stand there and stare at me. The message pops up to use the A or D keys to resist, but when I do the bar doesn't pop up and nothing happens. I let it sit there for five straight minutes, thinking maybe it was just taking time to load but still nothing. I have the current Defeat beta, and I also have Death Alternative, so not sure what to do here, also not sure what else i should list because I am new to this stuff.
raindy88 Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I have a problem with cooldown, no matter I set it trauma or end. After NPC had sex with PC.. NPC attack me without any wait time, shouldn't there be 10 minute of wait time before NPC attack me again? can anyone help me with this? Thanks

SimpleLife Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Not sure if I have a bad setting or not, but im having issues with guards. If they defeat my character, they will walk up to her, then stop, my character would standup again, and they will continue attacking. This repeats forever. If my character surrenders, the dialogue will progress fine, and if she submits, the animations will start (although other guards will start attacking right away) if she resists, then back to the standup/attack/standup etc.

Seriously though, i checked back and saw that he still used the logo i made him all this time ago and felt like i owed the world something better.
MonaBabii Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Hello, I'm still on the Defeat's update, it will be out of beta and be the v5 finally, I've redo/fixed/optimised/changed/added a lot I hope you people will like it (Well, basically it is better in every ways, even the logo. ^^) I'd like to release it for christmas / january at the latest, I know it's been a freaking while since the last update and I'm sorry about that I just have less time to work on it but as I post this I'm working hard on the mod, also I've got time this weekend and the weather is terrible. Also did not post a lot in this thread recently (not at all actually except for saying almost the same thing as this post ), I'll try to correct this and awnser the best I can to your questions when I finally release the v5, in the meantime I'll do my best to read your comments and fix things the best I can. Hello right back at you Honestly I thought there weren't any updates because you had reached a point where the mod was fully ready, if not almost there, and let me tell you it does feel that way I remember that this was the first "defeat"-kinda mod I installed way back when, and it used to be very buggy and make my game crash a lot and, well it was messy I then turned my gaze upon Submit and used that for the longest time, and then when one of these "recent" updates arrived the description for the new features really caught my eye, so I gave it another chance. Now I can safely say the mod is not only super stable but it works like a charm, and it has so many options.. it's mind boggling. Major kudos for all the hard work leading up to this update and beyond! I'm not sure what it is that you have added, changed, optimized in the next update and honestly I can't even imagine lol, but whatever it is, and if the current version is any indication for quality, I can say I can't wait The *only* thing that doesn't quite want to work for me is the sneak assault; no matter which options I choose, how I set them up, who I approach, what is my weapon of choice or my level/skills, I can never sneak-assault any NPC that's at full health. With time I've simply learned to live with it because the rest of what the mod adds is amazing and works great, and I never really play any super stealthy characters anyway so the very few scenarios in which I actually have a chance at a sneak-assault... it's not really all that big of a deal Either way... Take your time with the updates (as long as you give us some sort of signal to let us know you're not dead, please ) and thanks again for all the time and effort Cheers!

nutluck Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Well I can't say I didn't enjoy my time using this mod but I think I'm done with it for now. 2 big horny werewolves avoided a raging tornado and knocked down my nymphomaniac of a dragonborn when she forgot she was about to get mauled to death and decided to rub one out. It was very unexpected when the werewolves started closed in... and then started talking about what happens to fallen female knights on the battlefield and then proceeded to let my PC put on a strap on and gently take it in the mouth (both of them). What animations is used is picked by sexlab, that has nothing to do with defeat. Defeat only acts a trigger for sexlab to trigger animations.

I haven't got around to use it myself so you would have to read the thread or ask around to see if it works well or not.

I just thought that since there is an option for the ending scenario in this mod, the NPCs can be chosen to be pacified as well with it somehow.

I'm using Defeat's latest version and I'm not experiencing this issue, although I changed my SL gender to "Male" as I'm using the equipable schlong. Maybe give that a try see if it solves it?

My character just gets killed and the only things I can adjust are the general settings for the mod. Every other tab in the mod just says disabled and doesn't let me do anything. Is there a file I missed?
Li_Tianya Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I downloaded Defeat and it worked fine, but recently, whenever I rape someone, the only animation playing is Arrok Cowgirl. When I press the arrow keys to change the position, Arrok Cowgirl keeps playing. When I check the commands, it just shows Play Animation Arrok Cowgirl over and over again. In the SexLab MCM, I disabled Arrok Cowgirl and all other positions I don't like but they seem to keep playing. I edited both general animations and aggressive animations but this doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help?
mightyice Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 i installed this with lush cbbe body but the animation wont start when i try to rape someone, i use nexus mod manger to install everything. i use FNIS user to update the behavoir and even used loot yet theres no animation. does anyone know what is wrong?

(propably ) Go to the "SEXLAB ANIMATION FRAMEWORK" MCM click FEMALES USE STRAP-ONS. All females will use strap-ons if they are the AGRESSOR in the animation not if they are the victim
