So I've managed to get it to say "Resist!" now. The issue is that I am still never successful. It does not even give me a percentage. It just says resist. I haven't seen the "Grab" animation in a very very very long time. I think there is something wrong with it. Can anyone provide any insight?

 

Many players are seeing this issue.  The author said to use the rebuild/reset option but it doesn't always work.  My grab attempts are all failing.  I wish this would get fixed.  I may have to switch back to Submit if we don't get an update soon.

 

 

 

I've also tried the Clean feature and it didn't help.  I started a brand new game at level 1 and still have the issue.  I moved VioLens above Defeat in the load order as suggested (for my new play through) and it didn't help either.  I've reinstalled Defeat and re-run FNIS (for my new play through) and it didn't help either.  I tried both resist methods and increased the chance by 100%.  For fun I even used the console to give myself 2000 stamina and it didn't help.  I'm at a loss here.

fyi if u have any mods that mess with stamina and such say like skyre this mod wont work right now. a good example is grab from behind normal  seems to bae only around 60% even if u lvl 80 and they lvl 4. sneak grab from behind is 25% its lower than if u just stood there.

 

hopely the mod maker comes back soon and fixes it i dont like to submit i like this one more.

Try starting a new game with the violens above defeat in the load order.  May not work but it's worth a try.

 

I can tell you just deactivating the violens esp didn't work for me only changing the load order worked in my case if that helps.  You could also try completely uninstalling violens removing all files and going back to a save game without it installed to see if that is the problem.

Has anyone else had an issue with sex scenes involving the player not starting on their own? It works fine for NPC vs. NPC, and any other SL mod I use starts fine, but whether I'm an aggressor or a victim, the actors involved just stand there until I open the console - at which point a scene starts when I close the console again, and in the case of being the aggressor my character doesn't equip the strap-on until I open up the skills/magic/items/map menu following this.

Exactly the same happened to me a while ago. No animation starting and then opening the console unstuck them.

Unfortunately I've not found a fix. In the meantime I've started a new play through, and this solved the issue.

Love this mod. I like how it's not a Death Alternative like Submit and I like that I can decide when I "lose" the fight without having to die or hit a button i.e. stamina level or health.

A couple things though. 1. I can't tie up sleeping npcs. That's annoying. It took me forty five minutes to get the Warmaiden's staff to the correct health level so I could tie them up. I couldn't stop three shotting them unarmed... And 2. Is there a way we could move a tied up npc? Right no I've having to untie and herd them where I want them and tie them up again. I'd rather carry them. Maybe you could could make it so you can move them like an item.

Kay, I've buggered around on the forums, looked for others with the same issues, tried to fix things according to their recommendations, and nothing worked. I hit the rape button. My character undresses them. He does this little jarring motion and they both just stand there like nothing happened. I do it again. Same thing. I start a new save, doesn't work. Everything's up to date. Correct load order. Ran FNIS over and over and over. I have proper skeletons, animations, using the proper skse, SexLab, and Defeat 5b3.3. I don't have SexLab's restrict aggressive animations checked, and I've tried it with and without Death Alternative. I've tried it clean, I've tried it dirty. I've used older versions, back to the earliest available. Tying people up works great. Having sex with other mods works great. Robbing people with it works great. I can grab someone from behind and they drop. I don't know what to do, and I'm tired of trying. If I come back to this and there's a response great, but I don't have the time anymore to spend hours trying to make it work.

On a happier note, this mod looks fantastic. Greatest features of any defeat mod out there, especially for player as aggressor. If the damn thing would work, it would be a dream come true.

I'm loving this mod.  Thanks for making it!!

 

Ideas for future updates:

Companion gets tied up and maybe kidnapped.  - So if you are left for dead, or wake up in an Inn, robbed, you'd also have to go back and free your companion, who would still be tied up at the location of your defeat!!

i need a bit of help. odes anyone know why my defeat animations get stuck on a loop like when my char is being raped it just wont stop SL stop command doesnt work and it just goes on and on until i shutdown the game and load back in

Sorry if this has been addressed before but I have to admit that I was too lazy to read all 277 pages of this thread.

 

My problem is: I installed the most recent version of this and its required mods and started a new game (does not get any cleaner, I think). But whenever I try to knock someone down, they always die. So the only thing I can do to them is loot them.

 

I tried tapping G, holding G, tapping Shift+G, holding Shift+G... it makes no difference. I remember it worked fine with 4.2.1 in a previous playthrough.

 

What am I doing wrong?

hey, I am having an issue that I already asked about in the more nasty critters mod thread, but I would also like to try my luck here.

its prly related to loadorder but nothing I tried so far seems to have made a difference, but all base SL animations are triggered by defeat just fine, but when there is a trigger for animations added by more nasty critters, the critters just ragdoll with no animation being run.

the new animation trigger fine with hentai creatures train command (even tho cant test gangbangs there are new single partner animations that do), itsj ust defeat that seems to have a problem starting them when they trigger.

 

anyone had this issue and know what load order to use or what mod may be conflicting or whatever is causing this?

do you have player controls disable in the mod settings? i seem to recall you can have player controls disable. if that includes the sexlab end animation hotkey, the only way i could think to exit is to go to sexlab menu and stop all animations in sexlab . sounds like whats happened is, defeat disables all controls including sexlab hot keys, and you have sexlab set to need space pressed to advanced stages. there is a console command to re-enable player controls, i dont remember what the command is but google will help there. 

 

you didnt say if this is with more than one aggressor. repeat chance can mean you have several encounters if a few bandits or whatever are alive when you get knocked down.

3 downloads a lot of different versions.. not even a single tip in the installation guide which version we need to download.. 

 

which version I need to download ? 

 

btw how do you install mods with nexus mod manager that are alredy on your PC ? when I click on the folder it just opens it.. and opens the another untill all the folders are opened..

jesus this all sexlab mods are so hard to install and require tons of other mods on top of that too..

Defeat V5b3.3fixed.rar is the most recent version of this mod, to run it you also need the lastest version of Sexlab, SkyUI above 4.1, SKSE above 1.7.0 and FNIS 5.1.1, links too all of them are in the first post under 'Required'.

 

You install mods that you've download with NMM by going to the 'Mods' tab, in the top left theres a jigsaw piece with a + sign on it, hit that, navigate to the desired mod and hit 'open', then you just need to activate it as you would normally.

I have issues with this mod: the post rape scenario don't work. (just stand up and immediate attacks)

 

I have disabled DA and now i managed to see one of the bandits robbing my pg but then she stands up and i cannot regain control.

Do you have Resist unchecked in Player as Victim menu as this is a known issue (controls lock up).

Just started trying out Defeat so bear with me.

 

Given that Defeat has its own post-assault scenarios and now with the option of using DA, is it possible for Defeat to prevent health ever dropping to 0?  I don't want to set the hurdle rate too high so I don't have enough health to work with but I also want to avoid the one more hit and die scenario altogether.  Or, is there a way to configure this in MCM?  BTW, I don't use DA.

 

In multiple followers down scenario (all essential), how does Defeat prioritize and proceed actions?  I don't want to play like a coward but I see a possible scenario where I am outside the enemy aggro zone with all my followers down.  Do I have to go in surrender/fight a losing battle or will the enemy proceed with Defeat animations and then kick it into post-assault without me.  Or, how do I configure that in MCM?

Not too sure what you mean for followers. Without DA followers can trigger scene through no transition, original, or companion all down. If you are far enough from the aggro zone scene will likely trigger on followers regardless if you are standing or not.

 

Robbing, wilderness, and inn event only trigger if PC is down.

Hey, great mod! Im only having one problem though, the only three-way animation that every plays during three way events is just The Devils three-way, and I have 2 other three-way animations that I see in the toggle animation MCM. I have tried pressing O to skip animations, it only plays The Devils 3 way, and I have also tried to disable Devils 3 way so the other ones will play, it still only plays The Devil 3 ways. Help please?

The biggest problem testing this mod is with multiple essential followers.  Their default deathtime is so short I had a hard time figuring out which MCM setting does what.  I found a mod that lengthens deathtime for essential NPC from 10 to 30 and it helps but not by much. 

 

Is there a good way to test out NPC-NPC?  I like to isolate those settings instead of testing it with player leading followers where things get all tangled.

I am trying to configure Defeat as such.  In any fight, any actor who is not dead but in bleedout will stay in bleedout until the fight ends.  The fight ends when an entire party is either dead or in bleedout.  The victorious party will gather the survivors of losing party in one location to initiate animation.   Post assault event follows and then game resumes.

Okay, so I managed to run it somehow but the happines werent for long.. So what happend is it worked with a wolf and a troll [the ones near Riverwood] then I went to this little tower where you can find 3 bandits. So after getting raped by people I had 2 times that character was stuck lying on the ground.. And one time it was something like "one of the rapists is busy" and it was showing over and over and over again.. I loaded the game and passed the tower, then I tried to quicksave and game closed, I decided to take a breake, when I came back like 2hrs later it wasn't working with the monsters anymore.. when the character gets knocked down it dosen't show "hold A or D to resist" and the monster just walks away.. it still works with human and my character is getting raped by them but monsters after this crash aren't working anymore.. any ideas? 

And also in the FNIS framework the Defeat has v?.? instead of numbers..

Anyone knows what should I do to make it work again with the monsters?

Do you have creatures enabled in the Sexlab MCM?
