Another lurker here.

 

My reasons are, that there are times in my real life that I just don't have time to visit here for months (like this year). And when I do get back here there is so much to read. So why bother and add even more of what probably has been said before. Even in this thread I didn't read every answer on the 3 pages.

 

I only post if there I'm in the mood for it and I think that people could be interested in reading. But mostly I don't have the time. I didn't even have the time to play Skyrim since January. Just checking back here now and then to read and maybe snatch some interesting mods for sometime when I find the time...

 

Back to read-only-mode.

I was gone for over a year myself, i get what you mean life happens and shit. You don't need to read literally everything though, just skim through the posts (even that's not necessary) and say what's in your mind. But i get that sometimes the mood isn't there cause every now and then i look at a thread where i might have something to add but just say "nah fuck it" and just dip lol. Do what you gotta do.

It happened that someone was digging in the past of politictians / celebrities / people like that and exposed info to the public that should've stayed hidden.

Depending on what you are or want to do the opinion of the public about you as a person might be vital for your plans.

Agree that could happen, but highly fucking unlikely here since the dirty rat would have to explain what they were doing on a NSFW site as well. Easier to expose a tweet or FB post which is what most idiots get burned on. 

Besides, I think most ppl treat sex mods sites as neutral ground anyway since it appeals to shades of every political/religious ideology. Most everybody likes porn whether we admit that shit or not.

With a fair and objective perspective, sure.    However, so very few are willing to ask "hmm.. ok  why was that person on the site".    It would likely go something like this "This person is on LL.   On LL they have mods that allow you to rape and take slaves!  Ipsofacto this person must be a rapist slaver!  Get em girls!!!!"

BASED, that's why I'm here for. To add mods like these on my modlist and never be able to use those because I suffer from infinite one last mod syndrome.

I have spent more time building my mod list than playing Skyrim!   I do the same thing with the mods, I think "oh this looks good" then .....take a day to get my mod list to work.

The nice thing about "lurkers" is that they read more than they post. There is a lot of good game modding expertise here, which is why I started coming here (no pun intended). Sure, every site is going to have its trolls and drama, but things here are for the most part civil. I feel safe being who I am here.

Well I'm a former lurker for various reasons (baggage from childhood, used to being yelled at for my opinions, and I guess because I know that my writing and grammar skills are subpar), mostly I stick to the Sims 4 section (trying to help others, posting pictures, or releasing some stuff), even though I used to mostly play Bethesda games before.

 

Also I tend to be a bit coarser than is generally accepted in online communities (comes from the territory of the career fields I used to be in) so I have to check myself so my peepee doesn't get smacked.

 

Been a member here since about 2011 (I guess the old join date got wiped during a site update/upgrade).

 

Due to some rather bad real life shit, I find myself with a lot of freetime and rather, well, alone.
