For using the "I am looking for a Job...." i was just to avoid an extra line into the menu something close to the actual system (without existing quest modifications) could be : Ask for the job (I have heard you are propositing jobs..... without the well paid ) - The keeper propose only the waiter/waitress job - Do the job until a customer ask for more (as it is already implemented) ----> no = nothing change you keep that job ----> yes = it start the prostitution dialogue from the keeper To sumarise just wait for the PC do something dirty before proposing the prostitution. Notes : - when you accept sex with a customer as waiter/waitress when it does not count for you experience/ranking - reducing the income for the first job (maybe limited to 10-15 gold..) - the extra gold need to be really low - to have something less "automatic" the keeper proposal could be ramdomly determined (sorry i do not know how to turn that into a proper english)
bjornk Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 To introduce the player to the opportunities of making money early in the game by working as a prostitute, I'm thinking of a scheme like this: Player is just out of Helgen and on the way to Riverwood. Somewhere on the way she meets an NPC (and perhaps a carriage beside him) whose job is to find girls for a brothel. If the player agrees he'll take the player to the brothel boss (we obviously need an actual brothel at this point). The brothel boss will then tell the player about the work (salary etc.). If the player accepts the conditions (better paid than tavern jobs) she'll work in the brothel, otherwise the boss will tell her about tavern jobs and will suggest the player to go to the local tavern and ask for work there. This is how and when you'll first hear about tavern jobs. If you don't do this you won't get any dialogue option to work in taverns. BTW, there's a script name ski_playerloadgamealias.pex included in the package of both this mod and Spectators mod. That file probably belongs to SkyUI and I doubt it's actually required by this mod, it might even cause some issues.

This Orc camp quest triggers randomly along with the Ambush quest, and both are almost indistinguishable at first. -Improved the detection system in the free-roaming prostitution quest. Solicitation can be set to passive, active or both. Chances of successful approach depends on a variety of factors: NPC marital status, NPC and PC gender, PC clothing and NPC and PC race (planning to add dependence on arousal). -Added a few dialogue path to the most repetitive sections. -Changed the behavior of the Home Delivery client to automatic. The client will now prompt you to advance the scenes. -Under the hood changes to the gear recovery quest -- to make it triggerable while it is already running. -Countless bug fixes. @bjornk: Yes I have been made aware of that a few weeks ago. The copy of that script (has been) will be removed of any new versions.

There was an issue with the Home Delivery quest where you get stuck in the undressing animation until you talk to the client again. Does the above change cover that issue?

Can I just uninstall the old version, start game, save, close, then install new version, or will that not be good enough (due to left over scripts)? I hate to start all over again.

What that means is that sometimes I reorganize the code and script to build upon to further heights and that makes it real difficult to update cleanly. In this case, some script disappeared and the game isn't going to like that one bit. Bottom line is: You can try the clean save but that's at your own risk. If you use the mod for playing and not for testing, I'd recommend you wait till you happen to start a new game before updating.

The percentage of the madame cut is a percent of the base reward... the actual reward you get is the base reward plus a number of bonuses based on skill. We could imagine a situation were the player get, say 50 (base) + 30 (skill) = 80g (total) for something, and the madame demand 100g (200% of the base). So you wouldn't make money at first but as your skill reward increase above 50g, you would start being able to actually earn something. What I noticed is, the higher the perc. of the madame cut, the more likely one is to lie about the number of clients... and that's kind of fun.
Ambereros Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 An idea for another radiant quest : A wealthy perv merchant recruit an escort (actually the PC) in the inn to travel from there to the next hold and back, camping and f*cking along the way. several option could be implemented : - the merchant/traveler keeps the escort for his personal entertainment. - the merchant/traveler has recruited the escort for his bodyguard as a bonus for him. - the merchant/traveler has plans to pimp the escort on the other side. - the merchant/traveler plans to give the escort to a group of highway men as payment in order to pass with his goods safe hope you like thanks for this great mod !

Everywhere - in the tavern, in a house, in the camp...I'll try to TCL ...Although of course the client search in tavern works well.By the way Matchmaker runs like clockwork, Defeat too.

As for the second one, I found that there was indeed a path missing but that doesn't seem to be the one you are talking about... what's the quest stage you are stuck on? NVM: Found it.
