Is there anything specific you need to do to update the plugin? It seems that if I just plop it into the SKSE/Plugins folder (overwriting the previous version), I CTD whenever trying to load a save.

Does it require something like a clean save?

Try this:

1) Remove the old version of the DLL, and delete the log file.

2) Load up your game, and make a new save.

3) Put the new version of the DLL in your plugins folder.

4) Load the new save you created, shouldn't CTD.

That worked for me.

I will confirm that this fixes the issue... I thank you with all my heart...

New version still CTDs for me even on clean save, hopefully newer versions will work again for me. Actually were could I find a TBBP skeleton, that might help. I'm still using XP32's skeleton.

Using different skeletons didn't help. New version actually works on saves that I had never used the plugin in before, but for saves I've used it in before I can't update, but I can remove it and still load the save< I have no idea what's up. Might need a way to reinitialize stuff somehow.

EDIT: It finally seems that just being in an exterior cell makes the new update choke. Since interior cells allowed me to update and move between them.

I got a CTD immediately after trying to load a previous file, and the same happened when I tried to start a new game. I made sure to remove my existing skeleton.hkx and run FNIS beforehand. I had schlongs of skyrim installed, but I read that it had some compatibility issues so I uninstalled it to see if that did anything. It didn't. Other than that, nothing comes to mind immediately that would cause a crash, but considering how unstable this is, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just general instability compounded by the 100+ mods I currently have running. I looked in the hdtPhysicsExtensions text file that was generated and this is what it said --

"hdtPhysicsExtensions

[07/17/13 21:06:10]INFO: Queue OK
[07/17/13 21:06:10]INFO: SKSEPlugin_Load

[07/17/13 21:06:42]INFO: Suspending ... Mist Menu"

Don't know what to make of it.

I think it's just a bug in the newer version, since several of us seem to have a problem. I'm sure if you load a save in an interior cell it'll actually work, but don't expect to be able to go outside. It's not even an issue of number of NPCs, since it works indoors for me with at least 13 other NPCs. Try the older version that's linked in the chinese site, since that one still seems to work.

Hmm. The first save I tried loading was in Dragonsreach and it still resulted in an immediate CTD. Ah well. I'll try downloading the older version tomorrow. Hopefully it'll work.

Hi

Today, I was trying this mod but no results. I've read all the thread to see if I found the solution, but I just read some people with the same problem than me.

[......].

Thx in advance.

The armor or clothing / Body must support BBP / TBBP. BBP works better for me (while running). TBBP is always running at very strange.

I don't want to use a BBP body because I don't like the neck seam. That is the reason why I ask about to to do it work with CBBE body. And yes, with TBBP is very strange ;)

For some of you this dll works for a non physics body, if I am not wrong. Could you give me the exact steps to do it work? Thx

3) Put the new version of the DLL in your plugins folder.

I remove the 12.07.13 version, and don't install anything, i even reboot my rig. Then i run Skyrim and load the save. It ctd's on load. I try again the same save, and, on  the third time it loads, and the boobs are jiggling. With no plugin installed, and with .hkx deleted... What kind of magic is this?

I now think that HDT moves our boobs with some kind of a magic enchantment, and the .dll is only a symbol of our contract with him...

I'm having issues with changing cells, doors, fast travel, all result in ctd with this Dll installed. I can happily run about all day long in the same cell, jiggle away, but try to go anywhere.. blam ctd.

FNIS uses the .hkx file when doing its stuff, if you run FNIS after removing the .hkx file it should remove any jiggling that you get from it. It's not really the ..dll if you have removed it

the only problem with removing the hkx files is that if your using a mod that uses one of these file formats then it causes problems for you

So, who moves those boobs for me then?

So, out of interest, Is ANYONE able to the run the physics Extensions DLL WITHOUT suffering from Frequent/constant CTD's when changing cells ?

If so, how the hell are you managing to do that, and can u tell me what to do. Because its unplayable right now, for me at least. I mean I Looks wonderful, its really really kewl, but breaks the game (ctd every time I go through a door or fast travel.. somewhat immersion breaking)

I have a decent rig, so I don't think that's the problem, i5 quad core, 16gig ram, gtx 660 2 gig gfx card. Decent gaming rig.

As I said, for me it is now running almost without CTD.
See first Post on Pgae 12.

The cause is obviously wrong addressing of memory.
Therefore, the CTD also come in the cell change.

I have with both the new and old DLL.

This is what I had set up (in this order):

CHSBHC

CBBE (using custom body)

CB++ Main

Remodeled Armors for CBBE BBP (the CT777 ones or whatever)

Generate the bodies (CB++ TBBP first, then the CT777 armors as a group).

(works without these two, though I couldn't get JoP to work without applying the XP32 skeleton afterwards (making sure to check yes for using JoP in the XP32 installer))

Joy of Perspective

XP32's Skeleton

Installed the DLL after that and deleted the .hkx. No CTDs to speak of, either I get a CTD when it first loads or not at all (even when going between cells).

Using NMM to install all of them, btw.

-----------------------

Repeating this here just for people that might not have seen it.

If you're upgrading the DLL version, try this (may not work, depending on your setup):

1) Remove the old DLL and delete the log file from your SKSE/Plugins folder.

2) Load up the game and make a fresh save.

3) Put the new DLL in SKSE/Plugins.

4) Load the fresh save you made after removing the old DLL.

Again, it may not work, but that's the only way I know of to upgrade that prevents instant CTD.

ive finally got it working properly however i had to first turn off all my mods make a new game save and reactivate 2 or 3 mods at a time go into the game and save then move to the next couple of mods

basicly once you have the dll set in the base of your save its just a matter of reactivating your mods back to its max and you'll be able to move around

Will have to try this later. The dll from 3dm works fine for me but I wanted to try the one in the first post. I got it to load up a save in dragons reach but it ctds the second I try to leave. I gave an older save a try from before I had the original dll installed but it ctds while loading. Wanted to try the newer dll out to see if it would help with the massive lag I get when the game starts loading npcs. Well I assume that's what's causing it. Oh and anyone else just have the game get hung on the loading screen as in just sets on the loading screen and never finishes loading. I can't say its frozen either seeing as it keeps cycling the tips.

Deactivating mods is sort of a bad idea, specifically with mods that use scripts. I'd suggest just waiting for a new version if you're having issues. Remember this a beta.

tbh i recommend that people wait for an update too however for those who dont mind starting a new char whether its a custom or vanilla using the method ive discribed will get you there however its a matter of trail and error

Shadow did you find any specific mod that was incompatable and certainly should be avoided if wishing to use this physics ?@

and arngrim- yes, constantly getting infinite hanging loadscreen, very very very annoying. If I had a cat, I would give it such a punch !
