Just follow the steps in the videos. They got a step-by-step description how to use the follower mods as presets.

You still may want to let Mod Organizer handle the follower mods so you can keep your original Skyrim data folder clean.

Video shows that you need to import head and use the preset file. Okay, I can get the head from follower mod, but there are no .jslot files.

Hi there,

 

Does anyone know of any armour or clothes sets which contain standalone accessory skirts or dresses (by which I mean, the dress part from the waist down only and not using the cuirass/torso slot) and which are actually halfway modest (i.e. arguably warm, and therefore immersive)? 

 

There are quite a few mods which add pants or leggings which can be added to make skimpy armours a less freezing or just to let you have fun playing mix-and-match. What I'm looking for is that, but with skirts. There ARE a small handful of armour or clothing with separate skirts, but in one of those I've found so far the skirt is either a tiny miniskirt (some barely more than a belt or washcloth), such as the Pareo set or the Merta Assassin set, laughably lore-unfriendly, such as all the pleated schoolgirl sets, or both.

 

Ideally I was hoping for something knee-length, or just above the knees. Lower is okay too.

 

The one exception I've found so far is that the old Warfare/Artemesia set by m0ckin9bird has two items which sorrrrrt of work. One a kind of gauzy loose open skirt and the other more of a tabard. They're okay, but some real skirts would be much nicer.

 

I've been searching on Nexus, on here, on the various Russian and Asian sites and haven't found anything yet. But I'm hoping maybe I missed something.

Does anyone know of any mods with skirts or dresses like that?

Which body do you use?

 

I know of a couple for UNP. Combination vanilla outfits has lots of skirts to choose from, and there's one skirt in Misfit Mage as well, a little short at the front but there are trousers or leggings to match.

Are you sure is from KS? I have the mod, been using it for a while. Either something went wrong with the installation or the earrings are from another mod. I'll give it another check in-game.

I'm actually guilty of using vanilla (though I use various texture packs and such), because I'm quite happy with the shape, like to have the option of as many armours and outfits as possible, and can use UNP armours with vanilla without any trouble. I have a number of UNP followers, who are all using UNP Standard, and they're the ones I'm trying to outfit anyway. If I were to use a bodymesh, I'd use UNP Standard myself as well.

 

Thanks for the Combination Outfits suggestion. That looks like it might add a couple more options at least. I wonder if there's anything else out there?

So, I dont want these items to be randomly used by NPCs, so I used Creation Kit and deleted them in the LeveledList.

Should that do the trick?

Awesome! The throwing knives there are very close to what I was looking for! This is probably the best that I can get, thanks alot!

However, do you know a way to exclude these weapons from NPCs and make them available only via the vendor and console? I would not want NPCs walk around with these non-Skyrim weapons.

Does anyone have the old v1.1 version of the Elven Rogue armour set? That one was nice and slim. Unfortunately the current 2.0 version floating around is actually meshed to have a huge caboose and some wacky proportions.
