I can't recall seeing those armours, as far as I know  I do use Omegared99's Game of Thrones armour compilation which I love, and also found this medieval knights armour compilation  Hothtrooper's Hedge Knight is great as well!

Skyrim is a great RPG. Sometimes I wish that it had some strategic elements, though. Gameplay more along the lines of Warband would be incredible.

 

For instance, one of the things that had more potential was the civil war.  The Civil War Overhaul mod intends to make the CW more like a back and forth tug of war, which I guess is better than a one way tug of war you're guaranteed to win... eventually.

 

On the other hand, there's also Skyrim Tycoon, which seems to introduce a mostly economic mini-game to Skyrim. Unfortunately each time I wanted to try both of those mods, conflicts and errors prevented me from being able to enjoy them. Tycoon seems to have an interactive map which you can use to decide how to expand your businesses and so forth. If only someone would take that approach to making a checkers-like mini-game, with real battles!

 

Pipe dreams aside, I was wondering if anyone knows of other mods out there that I've missed which add a strategic element?

Why reupload? Some of them might be on the Nexus and other Modding platforms. The second from the right is the West Wind Combat Series - Misfit Mage UNP

I know there is a random idle animation mod(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72747) for PC, but is there a mod of which you can apply random idle on NPCs too?

Sorry for OT, but I haven't used that particular one you linked, but a different one. Do you use the one you linked and does it have that issue where it periodically stops your character movement while using certain animations? Had to stop using the other one because of that.

Why reupload? Some of them might be on the Nexus and other Modding platforms. The second from the right is the West Wind Combat Series - Misfit Mage UNP

 

 

I need a reupload because I can't find the one with the white tabard from GoT game, wich is the one I want.

You're probably better served looking at sites specifically geared to this sort of question,  like Skyrim GEMS and  'best mods for..' or even doing a tag search on Nexus.

In the same way that guards comment on you wearing iron, steel or whatever, just without voice files, obviously.

I'm looking for a overlay for race menu or a tutorial on how and what to edit to get the result of lighter palms of hands and soles of feet

for darker complected characters.

When using the complexion slider it turns the whole body that tint or hue, what would i need to edit or is there such a overlay for race menu?

I am also searching for his mods, I only found the Royal Elven Set and the Rogue Sorceress for now. Does anyone here have a high resolution version of Rogue Sorceress and/or any of his other mods ? I only found 512x512, which is far from ideal...

The 512x512 texture for the Rogue Sorceress is the buckle and lacing, very small parts of the outfit.That's normal. The main texture is 2048.

 

The links work. With depositfiles you have to be patient, wait out the countdown, fill in the video capta, etc. It downloaded fine for me. Although it's most likely in Russian, which can be renamed in the Creation kit or TESVedit.

It doesn't port very well, in my experience. The low poly count causes it to distort pretty badly as you shape it to fit the Skyrim body, and you end up with pretty "boxy" edges. As opposed to trying to subdivide, redo the textures and all that, I've been keeping my eyes open for the HD remake version; which I assume is better on all accounts. Haven't had much luck finding one, though. Maybe if the rumored PC port turns out to be true it'll be come more available.

I hope someone is up for a challenge, because I don't have time to work on this idea.

 

I wanted to add Decapods to skyrim.. That's right. The weird alien crab people from Futurama, as a playable race.

The decapods do worse when armed, because they have claws. They can use their claws to snip their enemies' arms off or something....

they have an "ink defense" power that spreads black ink in an area surrounding them. Causing all enemies around the area to run around blindly while you scuttle away.

 

The A and D movement keys cause you to scuttle sideways like a crab.

 

and they have really tough natural armor that is their shell...

 

 

I really think this would be a cool idea for people who aren't interested in lore. (i'm not)
