I Hate This Reaction GIF by Black Rifle Coffee Company

> My Prince thought it might be a good idea to suggest you the mod he used for stopping "Forsworm conspiracy" quest for Skyrim LE. He hated that quest, but since he didn't know how to stop it, he avoided Eltrys all the time after Margaret was killed. But, eventually, they've met. He even killed Margaret's attacker thinking it will stop the quest but the game was stubborn in forcing the quest. Now, there is a new mod on Nexus, called "Somebody else's problem" that stopped the quest, and finished it without doing it. The game only marked not reading Eltrys' note as failed quest but main quest was finished and Margaret alive, grateful and willing to have sex with the player. :D He installed the mod, tried it and it works great and it doesn't cause problems with further quests.

> Anyhow, if you hate that quest just like my Prince, or you don't want to go through it for whatever reason, than this mod is for you.

Why exactly do we need a mod just to ignore something?

Because some people hate stuff being shoved down their throats. Somebody Else's Problem has been a staple in my load order since it first appeared, because Forsworn Conspiracy hanging indefinitely in my journal was pissing me off immensely for almost a decade. I only did this quest once initially and nevee got back to it until I discovered Devious Cidhna. And even after that I kept ignoring it once the novelty ran out.

On a related note, At Your Own Pace's author has plans on amending this quest, that you need to specifically ask Eltrys about it in order to start. There were also plans of delaying Margaret's murder until the player has spoken to her at least once, but that was dropped for some reason.

wat?

This is the second largest non-issue I´ve ever heard about. Its Skyrim. you have tons of quest you can choose to do or NOT to do. And you can do them whenever you want.
If a entry 3 pages down in your quest journal is an issue for you, congrats, you have run out of real problems.

Same with this. whats the point? It just adds an extra step to the process. And If i actually want to progress, i have to first find the trigger-npc? that's just dumb, sorry.
Again, ignoring stuff is an ability which the vast majority of humans have pre-installed.

Probably because she has nothing relevant to say to begin with? everything worth knowing about her you can get from her Journal.

Why so complicated? Just remove Eltrys' essential tag in xEdit, kill him, and let's be done with it.

You're right. What's the point of modding at all? Everyone knows Skyrim is a perfect game. 10/10 IGN

Personally I use That's Not My Note instead which stops Eltrys from giving the note entirely. You have to remove the mod if you decide you want to play through the quest but after playing through the Forsworn Conspiracy before I have no interest in doing so again.

Yeah, exactly! And you are going out of your way to remove content from this masterpiece, you Peasants!

there are no words (or arrows) which would do this insolence justice.

I've only done the quest like once.
I technically don't mind it. But depending on my playthrough, if i'm a snarky roleplay character I usually just exit his dialogue lmao

Am i the only one who does this quest every time just to see in what other way i can betray lumpy or get some slaves while they go on a rampage? ?

I would generally just stop the guy from killing Margret, get the note dialogue out of the way and move on. Occasionally I would play Cidhna Mine Expanded/Extended.

Yeah, if you ARE going to do it, it's a lot more fun with a mod that actually makes Cidhna mod a place worth spending a little time in.

Can't do that with SL Survival. Your always get forcegreeted right at the gate for licence check and can only watch while she's being butchered.
