If you don't have the latest version of AE, it won't load. You have to download the LE version and convert it yourself.

1. Download LE version

2. replace bac.esp in your mod folder

3. open creationkit and load bac.esp

4. save it

It's a pain in the ass I know. If I find the time, I'll try to exchange the ZaZ dependency for 9.2 in the next version.

And what about the same issue on the SE version, from what i'm aware 9.2 hasn't been converted to SE yet so exchanging the ZaZ dependency for 9.2 might only help fix the LE version.

 

I don't really know much about how making mods really works but since both LE and SE seem to be having the same issue could it be possible that the issue is being caused by some kind of mistype in the first capture section? Causing it to look for the machine with the wrong ID or something but like i said i don't know about modding and could just be completely incorrect, it's just something that came to mind as a possible issue, knowing how letter and capitalisation specific coding can be.

@Sinnamonroll66 you might be right because I didn't have that issue with 2.08 and 2.09 just this one during the capture scene. I think the ID got mismatched or something to think that ZaZ Animation 8.0+ is not being detected @botticelli it might have been done accidentally wonder if you can check

Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong? I have the quest HammerHeart started but it just says "The Curse has caught on. What now" There are no other options. I even went all the way up till I was fully transformed as a cow and drank Blended Lactaid but no other quest or marker ever popped up. I tried talking to the priest at the Temple of Kynorath to trigger the Who I am quest and talking to Paul in Riverwood but nothing happened they wouldn't talk to me. Then after I was fully transformed it just said I lost my voice and only had moo options when talking to either of them but it never triggered another quest. What am i missing here? I'd love to be able to play this. 

I downloaded the bac_2.0.10_LE, bac_2.0.8_LE_loose_files, and bac_2.0.8_LE+SE_tats. Did i miss a file I was supposed to download maybe? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There should be a courier appearing at stage 2 to hand you a letter. If you didn't change location after starting the transformation, try that out. Otherwise it could be any mod screwing up with the courier quest (WICourier).

I did not change anything between version regarding the ZaZ dependency. Those furniture items were placed long ago by skyrimfet and I didn't touch them. The only thing that's changed recently was the ZaZ 8.0+ forum page, so maybe there's another version out there now that's not compatible anymore.

 

As for 8.0+ -> 9.2: Before I change *anything* in that regard, I will obviously have a look at the available versions of ZaZ.

I think you might have done something with the capture scene accidentally since i just tested the 2.0.8 SE version from the google drive you posted earlier with all the other same things as i had on with the 2.0.10 SE version and the capture scene worked just fine, didn't have any issue with missing furniture, the scene progressed as normal too as the hunters actually stuck around.

This is a brand new issue with 2.0.10 SE.

I have used the same ZAZ 8.0+ for literally years, and never had this missing furniture at this point with the Hunters before.

Missing furniture in the stable or the road in front - that I have encountered on previous releases. No error messages on those though.

Maybe give us an MCM entry to check references we can look at before investing all the time to get to the hunters.

I think that little change in adding ZaZ 8.0+ might have caused the missing furniture for Skyrim LE version Being A Cow 2.10

Thank you I was able to get the courier to appear and the quest to start. Sorry to be a pain but I ran into one other issue. When the hunters show up to capture me I said "please don't hurt me" then the screen went black. I could still hear sounds but it stayed black and I got a message "Quest Captured Cow is broken! Alias bacFurniture is empty. It should refer to a milk pump. Check your ZaZ installiation." I uninstalled ZaZ and reinstalled and no change. I am using ZaZ Animation Pack CBBE V.8.0! Not sure what else to do to fix this. Also I wondered if there is a way to make the tail stay attached. I have the HDT physics one so it hangs behind me and looks nice but it's not attached to my backside. When my character kneels or uses a milk pump it stays behind floating in the air until I stand back up. Is there a way to solve this issue as well. I really appreciate you all....thanks for the help! Loving the mod so far.

that is the issue I have and I do have ZaZ ANimation 8.0 plus installed

From what's been noted the issue with the missing bacFurniture is most likely caused by something in the 2.0.10 version of BAC since i tested today on the 2.0.8 version with the ZaZ Animation Pack CBBE V.8.0+ and it worked just fine even though with the same setup, only difference being having the 2.0.10 version of BAC it didn't work

 

As for the milk pump animation issue i'm guessing there's some issue in the animation so you could probably try to run your FNIS or Nemesis again

I have truly no idea what caused the furniture issues as I have honestly not altered anything in the cells. With 2.0.10 there were only dialogue and script changes. I'm afraid before I get to splitting up those huge scripts, I cannot provide any solution because CK is not able to show me the properties of the scripts, namely bac_blacksmith.pex, because there are too many. You might have to revert back to 2.0.8 for the time being. Use the link posted above to re-download it in case you've already scrapped it.

I did the same test and 2.0.8 works fine when Capture by Hunters on the Hammerheart quest.

Yeah no worries it's fine, at least there's a temporary solution to the issue so you won't need to feel so much rush in trying to figure out what might have gotten messed up with the 2.0.10 update especially if trying to figure it out is going to be a big hassle.

Take note that these references are only filled in during mod initialization. (no changing ZAZ after the problem happens)

Clean save should work as well as a new game.

I'll let you know my progress and if it works hopefully it does work. If it does we might all have to start a new game.

I am running version 2.08 to get me through the first capture scene with the hunters. That scene worked great with the old version. Am now on the Cow Tears quest meeting Marc at the statue for the second time where he turns you over to the hunters. That scene is giving me a completely black screen even with the old version. I can hear ambient sounds, and see milking notifications in the upper left screen. I can even save and reload to see that I am in the hunters cellar but the screen stays black so I can't actually do anything here. I tried every version from 2.06 to the newest to get this scene to trigger where the screen wasn't black and no luck. Does anyone know of a solution for this issue?

My (defective) memory of this issue is that the person you have to interact with is too far away.

Workaround involved moving them closer.

Hopefully, that is enough information to jog someone's memory that can actually tell you what to do.
