In general, after a certain stage, the body turns blue. I tried what is written here but it did not help. Where could I have made a mistake?
Houghin Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Oh! No need anymore. I find post with similar issue. I'll try that solution
safado Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) 13 hours ago, TiredGamer said: Yes, I read the FAQ: The tats are not appearing/partially appearing/body is blue Check your slavetats folder unter data\textures\actors\character\SlaveTats\bac. Even if you don't have SlaveTats installed, that's where the tat textures are located Check data\SKSE\Plugins\nioverride.ini. Enable face tats and make sure you have enough tat slots available on all body parts In the data\textures\actors\character\SlaveTats\bac folder I have 3 files: 1˙398˙256 brown_phase_09.dds 1˙398˙256 spots_phase_09.dds 1˙398˙256 white_phase_09.dds I think the Texture path start with "GAME\data\textures\bac\***" for the custom assets used by BAC like horn, udders, minotaur, fur, and the like. Is not the slavetats folder. To help troubleshoot your issue. For SkyrimAE you can use "More Informative Console" to help pinpoint the texture that is missing. The idea is to show the textures and paths for you to writen down and track using windows file exprorer in game folder If your BAC is the "loose" files version. If you are using the BSA then you need the BSA extractor to be able to see the files, but I do not think you will have that problem with the BSA version. The program Paint.Net (freeware) can open DDS to see the texture, do not used it to edit texture if you do not understand DirectDraw Surface (.DDS) container format. In future post, use the "Spoiler" (eye in the post edit toolbar) to hide the pictures and make it easier on the readers to follow the post. Follow my example below. Sample of the more info console mod from my game. It shows all the textures in the selected character(my MC), including the armors, so is better when "skinnaked". It uses shift to select options and tab to switch info dashboards, in skyrim console (yes, the same one for cheat codes). I selected the texture used in the cow ears, you can see the path in the last pane on the right. The num in [4] is the folders+file in the path. Spoiler Edited May 22, 2023 by safado
SilentOption Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 @botticelli any idea why BAC version is 2.0.2 instead of 2.0.4 I did download but I check the MCM on the About it said 2.0.2

If is not something about script instances copies in the save, then you may have the 2.0.2 scripts as loosed files while the 2.0.4 are in the BSA. Loose files always win conflict vs files in BSA archive. I'm guessing. Edited May 23, 2023 by safado

After a save/load the hand and foot turned back, but the body remained blue. After I equip a transparent zipsuit, the body turned back and blue again after every step. I think, it is because some wrong/missing textures, but I don"t know, what are missing? I had the very same problem. Fresh install. Also read the faq, adjusted the ini file, checked for transparent suits (none found)... Did you download and install bac_2.0_LE_tats.7z? Or just the main file? That- solved it for me now. 15 hours ago, botticelli said: 1. Check, if you have some mod equipping transparent (i. e. invisible) armor, like a naked suit. The issue is the same with the zipsuit. Transparency in Skyrim can hardly cope with overlays and tends to flicker. Its just that the textures are missing from the main file. Or is that intended? If you only install the mod without any "extras" you turn blue. Just like if you dont downlaod the loose files the mod still works, but the acolytes map is a rainbow flag instead of a map. Those might be put under requirements. I'd guess the reported flickering comes from the update actors where you "unequip" everything for a short moment, e.g. after mutations, milking or changing options. Either way i had a save before turning blue. So i went back, disabled tats completely in the MCM options and- still turned blue. So disabling also doesnt seem to work. 1

I'm afraid, I am an idiot. ? Yes, I installed the tats (or I believed that I did). But I was not checked, that the install was a success, or not. Well, or not... So, I reinstall the tats, and the blue skin is gone... Thanks, everyone! 1

BogidaMalva Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 (edited) Good time of the day. I've been playing just fine with the mod until recently where the game suddenly froze. I am unable to find a way around it, I've tried setting Beth. INI preset to lower, changing load orders and such, but it appears to be tied either to Milk Mod or BAC, since the freeze happens on the first Milk Gain event. Reason I say that is because I have no other mod that do anything with papyrus every hour of in-game time. Any advice on how to start troubleshooting it? I'm very new to this and don't really understand how to provide the information about this. Here is my mod load order currently, game is Skyrim Special Edition on steam. EDIT UPDATED: As soon as I posted this, I googled and tried few more things. If you are like me - the culprit is Better Third Person Selection - It seems to really dislike any script heavy mods. SilentOption Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 @botticelli Okay I just try out the 2.0.4 BAC for a second time but for some odd reason, I didn't see any transformation happening. What is the command for it?

What is the command for it? There's no command for a transformation to happen. You can only check on cow stage = faction rank of faction bac_milkmaid. So, in the console, type help bac_milkmaid, then note the faction ID, then type player.getfactionrank <ID>. If it is 0 or 1 something is wrong, probably MME not firing Modevents.

botticelli Posted May 26, 2023 Author Posted May 26, 2023 1 hour ago, SilentOption said: yes if she's not blocked with the spell, I have no idea. If you set log verbosity to NORMAL (and enable logging to console), each level up should give a console message starting with "BACMain::ProcessActorLevelUp". If that does not appear, have a look at the StorageUtil int values for your character (e. g. with Skyrim Utility). If there is one named "BAC.Cow.Activity.EquipJobScheduled" and that has value 1, try to set it to 0. *But* if that is really stuck at 1, it poits to some serious problem. I'd rather look at the papyrus0.log then.

Enable MME debug, click another page and return to debug to see the new options. If the PC is already a milkmaid, you can add extra lactacid, milk, and maybe auto milking. Faster MME leveling by enabling "Count Produced milk towards MaidTimesMilked". Higher level let you add more NPC as milkmaid and BAC curse.
Sheliya Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 (edited) Aaand ive got a problem i couldnt fix myself I made a new game. Beelined straight to the nearest book merchant and got the UnBlockSelfBovinification spell to block the curse for a while to give me some "breathing room" during the new start. It worked! Fine. But now i can not unblock myself. Using the skill again triggers the casting animation, my character flashes and...nothing happens. No message neither. Nothing in logs or console (both activated) neither- except for: BAC: BAC::onUpdate - Start Update BAC: BAC::onUpdate - Stop Update Im shown in the menu as blocked (only actor too). I can not use the debug menu to change the blocked status. Is there a way to unblock by console? Edited May 27, 2023 by Sheliya
ConqueringKid Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Hi there! Love the mod, almost everything is working perfectly but every stage of the foot mutation that should be a high-heel effect is clipping into the ground for me. Looking through the rest of this thread now, any known fixes or advice where to start troubleshooting? Bodyslide, racemenu, and high heels play nice in every other mod I have that involves them so not really sure where to start.

If you're on SE/AE hou need Racemenu fixes for the heels. 4 hours ago, Sheliya said: Is there a way to unblock by console? Strange, just tested it with a non-cow *and* with a stage 1 cow and it worked normally. Since the spell only adds to/removes from a StorageUtil list, it should not have any problems with that. You cannot fix that via console but you can use Skyrim Utility MCM "StorageUtil" menu for that. You need the GLOBAL keys, search for a FormList named "BAC.Cow.Mutation.Bovinification.Block", your character should be in there. Remove her with the utility. Edited May 27, 2023 by botticelli
