fur starts at stage 8. That percentage does not help because with dynamic start and end stages it can be anything.

got it fixed...had to put it in the hard steam folder instead of the vortex mods folder for bac. dunno why that made a difference but its fixed. thanks.  also any idea on how long the wait will be for the hand hooves?

nope, addywil is the one who makes it botticelli planned to add it in this current release if he got those meshes.

So... something weird started happening after I reset progress to remove cow pelvis. My character now keeps making the stomachX.wav and vbbs_belly-XX.wav growling sounds. But they're turned off in the MCM? I don't understand what's going on. Any ideas botticelli? How are they still playing even though they're disabled in the MCM? Is this a bug related to still having the old MCMs in there and causing things to bug out? The stomach growling sounds are disabled on the old MCMs too.

This is not the first time I've done reset progress but it's the first time I've heard the growling sounds since you know, I've always had them disabled.

 

EDIT: Upon further testing I realized it's the grumbleXX.wav sounds she's making because I replaced the previous ones I mentioned with empty .wav files and I was still hearing the stomach growling. Upon replacing only the grumble audio files the stomach growling was completely gone, the other audio files weren't being triggered.

Hi. I noticed there have been questions raised about the hand hooves, and I just want to reasure you that I have not gone underground (Or kidnapped by hunters). The reason for the deley is me moving appartments in January and just general apathy on my part.
As promised before, I've made a version of the texture that covers the palm instead of have the skin exposed. and here is a compare picture:

I don't see a reason to NOT include both; having one of them as an optional texture.
I did have some issues with the wrist scaling correctly with the body weight, but I think I somewhat got it done, even though it's not a 100% match, but hopefulle the fur will obscure most of it.

Before you all get you hopes up, I still work at the pace of a slug and have difficult putting energy into this, so don't expect it 'soon'. But i'll do my best to expediate the process if I can.

Something strange is happening at level 30:

udders very often disappear and appear practically only after putting on some clothes/armor.

after loading the save there is no fur and udders. To fix it i have to  force full update in mcm (just toggle some settings option) - that fixes the problem but only for a while, then sooner or later udders disappear again.

It'll be done when it's done. Take care of yourself, get enough rest and recover. Your health takes precedence. We can wait.

I do prefer the fully covered palm, but like you said there's no reason to not have both and just include an MCM option to choose the one you want. Options are ALWAYS better!

 

And also, you don't have to justify to anybody when it'll be done. Like NoirXiaoba said it'll get done when it gets done, people will just have to wait since you don't owe us anything. I already feel lucky that you're working on it at all, they look absolutely amazing ❤️

Can't agree more. We all at different levels excited for updates but you have nothing to prove to anyone.

That log suggests it's rather Skyrim AE as opposed to SE. The SE version has problems with AE unless you downgrade AE.

this was originally my suspicion.
interestingly little udder seems to have worked correctly, only mutation caused the problem ?

I will try to check if there is actually an 53slotitem there. in theory I know how this mod works but it doesn't match the behavior in the game for me. ;)

I found problem, its related with dark elf race, from some reason udders are not loaded for this race,
item is equiped in inventory (udders 3 or something like that) but there are no visible model.
if i change race to for example nord all works, when i change back to dark elf udders are hidden again.

ihmo in CK all is ok, im using standard body assets, so naked body doesnt takes 53 slot, fuck logic.

no idea why xD

its vanilia race, i checked races in CK today (before i post my latest post) too - more.. i created this item you checked ? i know, it should works but it doesnt works, another items like horns works good.
as i sad:
udders was in inventory, was equipped but model not appear.

i hope it was my individial problem, and all is fine.
changing race resolved texture problem too.

btw i found some content in mod i didnt saw in game, what is minotaur race, and molag bal ? :3

This is kind of a big ask, but does anyone have a zip of the mod and its dependencies (SE)? I've been tinkering around with it for the last couple of days and it keeps crashing.

This is an optional side quest to "A Craftman's Masterpiece" (which you get having Being A Cow running after completing House of Horrors and No one escapes Cidhna Mine). During that you can choose to revisit Molag Bal's altar in that abandoned house in Markarth...

It certainly is SE, Ive used the best of both downgrader to go back to 1.5.97.0

I also have this type of SkyrimSE (Hybrid-downgraded-AE) setup and BAC-notOfficial-SE 2.0.3 is processing the BAC curse properly.  Not official because is a simple CAO/CK64 conversion and not directly targeted by developer.  Your statement "It appears that the SE Version refuses to register the player as a cow" is false and only applies to your situation. 

 

Does the mod MilkMod Economy SE registers the character and applies it effects? Does the character is vanilla nord/imperial/redguard race? If it is *mer race, it may be affected by some CK race asset's "ARMOR" selection issue. If it is a Khallit or Argonian, it may be because the formid are pointing to a helmet asset instead of BAC(personally not tested).  With custom race, then it is not compatible without a patch.  Try BAC with nordrace after proving MME also works.

MME Registers the player, character is nord on both saves, and i get mooing effects for being full on milk yet Bac doesn't list the player, i do get some cow noises which is peculiar

Ughh, I feel like an idiot but ive just found the issue. MO2 had a copy of an old Bac_actor.pex in the overwrite folder that I had missed. So yeah its resolved.
Apologies for time wasting, i'd checked all the overwrites of my mods, but not the overwrite itself.
