I've been switching back and forth with facial animations and lip sync options.  I like the lip sync it fits better to the "acts" and works very well, even if/when an animation and/or lip sync remains on the character it also fits, looks like the character is out of breath or well you know. Anyway the stuck face fades in a short time or fast travel.  Having a choice is always a plus.  With each new update, I've started a brand new game, no save games. The current game, Papyrus is clear of SexLab Alpha errors, the Debug Dev Mode shows what is happening and performance is up.  I will start a new game today with the SexLab Alpha Patch 61.57KB and Romance, SexLab Mortality, SexLab Aroused (these work) and see how it flys. I'll pay more attention to the Debug Dev Mode as well.  Is there a way to save the Debug Dev Mode information in game Ashal?

note I have mod installed: http://www.nexusmods...im/mods/35303/?  and don't have this one installed: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/156-zaz-animation-pack-2013-10-08/

The patch is a definite improvement for me. NPC-NPC scenes started through Matchmaker run flawlessly now. Strangely, I can't initiate a scene involving the player this way - according to the log, the player doesn't get slotted and the thread times out. Using Submit however, talking someone into having sex does work. And undressing anim and orgasm effects play properly.

 

Log is attached. It contains a failed attempt of making love to Saadia through Matchmaker, a successfully initiated scene between Hulda and Mikael, and a successful seduction of Saadia through Submit.

After removing mods that had spamed the log, I now find new errors from other mods that were not there before (frustrating).  On the up side the Debug Dev Mode entries are in the log and the animations moved along quickly with the patch. The attachment shows progress of the animations with an error thou I'm not sure what it did or didn't do to the overall progress.

Everything is now as it was in Alpha 3 except that what was meant to be fixed in alpha 4 is now fixed. Some expressions remain broken (but theres no help except to replace them with better ones), there is a bit of delay when starting sex but everything else works as intended. Also i noticed that cum effect (camera shaking) is played a bit to soon... well maybe its just weird to see actors continue in the same rythm... but i really wish to see that dress up animation in the end instead of jump up dressed as it is now. And panic button :D

quick update on general status:

 

  • Next test release will be a beta release for 1.50
  • Beta version 1 will likely release sometime in the next week, possibly in a couple days depending on how busy I get with actual real life work come Monday morning.
  • Official final release of 1.50 to come the proceeding weekend.
  • Included in the beta and official release (over the current existing 1.44 alpha 4) will be:
    • The much requested "instantly end animation" hotkey
    • General tweaks to stat progression
    • Whatever new animations the current build is missing (feel free to remind me of any new animations that should be included, right now my general plan is to add anything new in Zyn, Bleagh, or PanicDisco's animation thread)
    • Expressions will be disabled by default
    • Lip sync will be enabled by default? (question mark?)
    • I may decide to go ahead with a creature animation overhaul, to better accommodate male/female separation of creatures. Personally I don't think there is much need and it's wasted effort, but feel free to make your case to convince me. In either case I'll probably investigate possible solutions and decide from there if it's worth the trouble.

So speak your final grievances and bug reports from 1.44 alpha 4 + patch or forever hold your peace.

I would also suggest adding Dayelyte's Unnatural Animations, his are so far just female werewolf on male humaniod. Though that might require some changes like you mention to the creature animations, since this swaps the general gender role the PC normally plays in such animations on his.

 

The only other thing I can think of off the top of my head that I don't think has been added or planned to be added is creature cum effect. By that I mean the cum decal added like how it is currently done with the PC races.

What will be with ZAZ ? I dont think that this Mod will be an Update für Sexlab or iam Wrong ?

 

I'm pretty sure there will be an update for ZAZAnimationPack once the new Sexlab is released.

Ashal, what about sweaty textures when having sex like estrus does?Have you considered it for including this option in your next release?

Personally I'm far more interested in this:

  • Unified SexLab dialog system
    • Allow modders to easily force an NPC to start dialog with player, inside and outside of animation
    • Maybe some sort of "registration" system that allows a mod to register certain categories of dialogs for NPCs like prostitution, romance, and such. May be a good way to improve compatibility between similar mods.
  • Actors walk/run into position instead of warp/glide into position

I hope it's not too late, but I'd appreciate it if you'd add slots 50 and 51 to the gear stripping options. What with the way that devious devices have monopolized (nicely) so many of the optional slots us mashers are getting a bit squeezed. I don't think having my gear be stripped from me when I'm decapitated will be a hardship :)

Another request, for Dayelyte's Unnatural Animations.. I believe it's great and quite hard work to be left out. I have no idea of the technical difficulties, but since we lack regular updates/new content in this field(animations), and the amount of work this field requires, you should use all you have.

Although if a "creature animation overhaul" is needed for this I guess that more than just a female werewolf would be required.. and it would have much more sense, for the overhaul, to be done then. I don't know Dayelyte's plans and how far will he take this.

So maybe for a future update.

Ok I just tried the latest alpha version and nothing works. The menu's are all there but I can't click or change anything. You click for example undress animation toggle switch and nothing happens. Not sure what is going on. It was only up for a few seconds and there is 100 pages a lot of them errors. Here is the papyrus log.

Did you try to rebuild sexlab from mcm? That helped me when i had similar problem.

Yeah I tried the rebuild and it would rebuild but then the same thing would happen. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it 3 times and each time I got the same result. I tried rebuilding it about 5 times and everytime the same thing. I have no idea why as I had no problems with the previous versions of the Alpha, just version 4 for some reason.

I had that happen with alpha 3 as well so i guess you have to save the game after rebuilding to keep the changes. Im not sure, dont have alpha anymore... but i remember i only had to rebuild once then i was testing all options and everything was working fine even without saving the game... strange that it disapears for you...

Yeah I agree, I find it very weird. Especially since it is only happening with this alpha. I have had things like this happen before but always if I rebuilt it, it had always started working before. So no clue whats up for me this time.

I know some people have requested this, I'm not understanding what would be the point though. Aren't all the animation currently available male creature, female humanoid anyway? I don't remember seeing any animators animating anything but, with the exception of an old werewolf/wolf animation which was creature/creature at any rate.

 

Easier to just assume all the creatures you run into in Skyrim are males as it currently stands.

Dayelyte has a human male on female werewolf animation that is mostly or completely done so far and he plans to do more. Since there is now a animation for this and more to come, people will want to use it I imagine. So eventually there will need to be support for it added. For now granted it is a single animation but I imagine those wanting it and more would love to see the support added sooner rather than later.

I think that is just a combination of the glossy effect of the cum and the lighting giving it that effect. I have never noticed it before so I think it only happens under certain conditions.

Hey guys, been wondering if there is an option to disable lip sync from sexlab, its realy bugy for me. After every moan mouth of the pc\npc closes and reopens only in next animation stage. So its choice between voiced moans and expersionless faces. Not to mention the falping mouth during moan. Figured out if i can get rid of lipsync maybe the mouth wont close when it shouldn't.

Quite a few of the draugr are actually females, over 70 different ones according to CK and while it shows Hagravens as male they should have actually been female. But I doubt Bethesda was worried about monster sex gender accuracy. And we know there are female werewolves like Aela. There is already a set of animations for female werewolves, and people are working on a more femenine Hagraven. And lets be honest, it's a little silly when a female draugre equips a strap on to rape a male pc. So if it isn't too difficult I would like to see seperation of male/female creatures. Now that I think about it....Bethesda was seriously lazy when they did animals as well. Do you realize that every single "cow" in the game is actually a bull? Who I wonder do they expect to milk a bull?
