Just curious -- do users of Lovers Lab mods also play completionist games?

I played through (vanilla) several times way back in the day. Now I never touch the Civil War, the Thieves Guild, the Dark Brotherhood and rarely the Companions as they are complete wastes of time. The fricken DLCs are not any better either. So these days when I play through if I finish the main quest that's fine but it is not a priority. As I wander through the world I come across LL and other mods I have installed and just roll with it, I don't look to complete anything anymore. So I become Jarl in a few holds because it is not a huge inconvenience if I want those houses badly enough a couple of mods can give them to me. Many of the "quests" are so lame I can't be bothered.

 

Plus calling Skyrim an RPG is a wee bit of a stretch these days. Bethesda has nerfed the hell out of all character building choices so it hardly matters who you play as anymore.

A Nord farmer sure but I can wield magic like a pro.

A High Elf sorcerer give me that war hammer let me show you how it's done.

The game makes you the chosen one. No escape there. Most annoying to me is that everywhere you go, there is a freaking dialog waiting because you are the hero. Hey dude, can you do this, for Skyrim? Sure i do, after i have everyone fuck me.

Its so bad that it is actually funny. Wonder why there no meme's for it.

On the other hand, its probably possible to do "real" quests and advance in the scope of the story even with all the fetish going on. Its just that, that my mind does not want to play it like that. Which is kind of sad. But other people play not the kind of game i play but a more lover centered story. In which case it does make perfect sense.

At the moment, i settled with Devious Follower and Captured Dreams. This is it for me. I did whoring but got bored. Do i really want to ask strangers? You see my problem? I just get bored after a while. I am sure that i will get back to it. Maybe with new ideas. I just wish i was capable of making a mod with story. Well at least with some kind of story.

You might notice which quests i do every time.. xD and yeah there is a mod for it to stop them but this mod doesn't stop the other ones or the light pressure a new Questlog gives off..

 

in my current save i do something pretty funny, got me destroy the thieves guild and have the 3 females and Brynjolf enslaved.  Kinda funny he is is a total crybaby while the other 3 making process in becoming my advertisement. Gonna make the cistern my Slave market. And here is my minor problem; No customer will ever go there so i will have to go out sometime..

At least i got to kill mercer 10 quests earlier. Karliah is waiting to be enslaved and the 2 Brotherhood Women and Cicero are next.. ok maybe not cicero.. Have to find a way to make him a follower without the DB. I like him too much

From what I remember rubber does exist in the elder scrolls world, think it was used in a couple of clothing items from morrowind I think, the khajit suit being one of them, though it was not explicitly stated it was rubber the in game image pretty much made it look like it was, and do not forget in cannon elves live a damn long time, you can be pretty sure their alchemists/mages blacksmiths have come up with some kinky shit in that time, no matter how much the thalmor seem to have a stick up their arses.

 

As for the bondage stuff, rope and leather make sense, both materials are common as hell, iron would be doable, though it should be damn hard to get, mainly due to the time required to make it.  Anything else should be rare to the point of not being buy able only crafted and even then it should take some serious questing to get access to the blueprints to make them and even more questing to get the actual materials, I think the problem is in the crafting side of most of these mods tend to forget to take into account that soul gems, especially the bigger one are supposed to be very very rare, not common as dirt which they assume, soul gems for the enchanting side of it should be the major source of problems to mass producing them, sure you might be able to get away with smaller ones for things like wrist cuffs and ankle cuffs, but the bigger pieces or more exotic stuff should require major or grand soul gems, and the quest is then who the hell is going around killing all the critters needed to produce all these soul gems, basically to make things even semi real devious devices or such things should be rare as hens teeth, because even it you state that the daedra make them and pass the around the problem is just how many are actually making these things to keep up with the massive demand.

Just saying. I made a cicero like follower. Basic really but i like it. Its a male. I placed him in Whiterun.

I kind of have a fetish for strange characters. If i weren't so lazy, perhaps i had given him a personality and some dialog. I always thought of getting a follower some Eliza like dialog. Kind of you personal psychiatrist with devious thoughts.

Just imagine how that modding world would be like, if you were not the main character. You could do all the sinister stuff without the reputation loss. And no stupid comments about dragonborn this dragonborn that.

I tried one to autocomplete all quests but that gave a CDT. And i haven't found anyone elses mod that would cancel all quests. I assume most people want to have quests from the mainstory even with all the fetish. So i assume there is no demand.

Anyway, that would be my dream of Skyrim or FO4. I do not play slaver but slave. I love it. Though i wish there were more sinister things going on. I have it dark.......

With Live another live and timing is everything i get to delay or down right off some quests but not as many as i would like. Markath can be ignored with another mod, "someone else's problem" But if you truly just want to be the dragonborn.. Welp either you join the mage guild or get another mod too cause Beth wants you to be a mage..

I get the point in wanting to involve some factions with the Mainquest but for one: It's not done good and for two: What about the so called greatest fighters in skyrim? They don't do SHIT about dragons ? Join their furry club after defeating Alduin and they don't know you.. I hate beth sometimes..

And making skyrims an actuall game is fun. People say Skyrim is a trash game, and well, it kinda is. It was impressive for its time in a number of aspects, (we all love bashing bethesda, but oldrims optimization was a beauty) but its is pretty hopeless as for today. To be honest thou, those deep dives usually include massive chunks of outside content like Vigilant. There is a bunch of vanilla Skyrim content i just dont find enjoyable.

 That is the most extreme "your milage may vary" example right there. Found that mod mandatory, Had ~1.5 year old save game with it, quite close to completionists. I dont have technical expertiese to actually talk about scripting quality, but as far as user experience go, if it can break save game - ive never encountered it over the years of use and multiple versions. Not sure if im lucky, or issues were fixed at some point.

FWIW, Skyrim Unbound at least removes your character's status as the Dragonbored.

A really funny, update to this was that I check the SDE Discord from time to time to see if there's an update on the next release. It has maybe 50 people on it and 20 regulars? maybe? It's small potatoes.

 

So I'm on there today and there's just these huge walls of text and I'm like WTF. Scrolling back, someone was in there talking shit about LotD the other day, and a day later, icecreamassassin AND one of his trained simps showed up to SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT. The defence of LotD was something like "We fixed all that shit and everything is perfect now, we don't support the LE version anymore and the only reason there were ever any problems was because LE sucks, also you fuck dogs, LL sent you right?" Though asscream left most of the shit-talking to his simp, and then was like "oh I didn't want to make this a thing".

 

There might have been other nonsense, but I couldn't be bothered to wade through what had clearly been an argument that had gone on for days.

 

If I was ever tempted to try out LotD, that sure cured me of any such desire, hahahaha omg, wow. JFC

I beat skyrim, then found mods and haven't played a single main story quest since.

 

I'm also a completionist, but the mods created such a new world it was hard to avoid getting sucked into.

It will fuck your LE save, it will fuck your SSE save, it will fuck your AE save (now 30% faster, thanks Todd!)

Never finished Skyrim, and probably never will. Only just finished the Dawnguard quest line in 2021. Furthest I got in main quest is just after embassy in LE, and getting to Sky Haven Temple in SSE. I find that aspect of the game boring, childish and irritating. (also I really don't like to be talked down too by characters my characters could flatten in an instant). Anyway having spent quite a few hours modding and playing the scenarios I think up myself I find the game very cathartic. Within the limitations of the engine, if there is something I don't like I endevour to try to find a fix, and when I'm bored I just tend to wander about. There are way better games for the completionist. However Skyrim does fill that big greasy burger void.

Wasn't there a mod here on LL that did just that? As in, you were considered a fake by most of the population and all the credit went to your (male) follower? I can't remember the name of the mod but now that I think of it, this might be worth checking out. Anyone knows the mod and can help out with the name?

I think it was part of troubles of the heroine, it also gave you a fake dragonborn female when you where male. It has some pretty nice aspects but turns the world almost completely misogynistic which i didn't like   ? Companions only allowing women to be "War whores", Balgruuf being a really asshole, many alterations in this way. Mostly has content for sub Female PC´s, few for Dom Male and Sub Male.  And i am too stupid to make npc replacer so the new npc´s didn't exactly fit into the world of porn i have?

SL Survival, SS++ and SLTR are a staple in my load order so that is not something I'm concerned about. Quite the opposite in fact. Thanks for the mod name.
