Okay, I think maybe someone needs to upload an instruction manual or something. How does one go about installing this mod? Is the original, as in pre-SE SoS required? Which version of the SoS SE do we need? Maybe link to the required mods? I have been trying to get this to work but every time I install the mod the way I interpret it to be installed (which is difficult, as the instructions are practically non-existent). What isn't being made clear is that you seem to need the ORIGINAL SoS, as in the SoS from pre-SE Skyrim. That should be on the main file page of not just this page, but the SoS SE version page.

Is this mod abandoned now? The main mod should be stickied next to the Sexlab post in my opinion. I had to shamefully type it into google to find it... Here is the link

Anyway the trick for me was I had to download the main mod at that link, then the AE 1.03 patch from this thread here

And then I had to make that the XP32 skeleton was loaded AFTER this mod. I always feel like if I just want one single mod to work for now... then just use the files itself, that it included.... but no not this one. It apparently includes alternative files that are not as good as the XP32 files that are the most up to date. I dont know.

I could be way off and doing that actually didnt help and it was actually something else, sorry, but I hope that this information helps someone who had not tried that yet. Resolve the file conflict by loading the XP32 skeleton after the schlongs. Alright now its finally time to "play some skyrim" bye good luck

Oh. my. god. Thank you so much for that little hint. I had the weirdest bug where I got a CTD everytime i came near Falkreath. Creating a character and running to whiterun was totally fine, but I couldn't walk to falkreath for some odd reason. Disabled half my mods and tried to find the culprit. Finally found out it was SoS and had no luck fixing this weird issue for like 2 hours now xD... I was about to give up, until I found your post and, as you suggested, put SoS above XP32. That fixed everything! I don't get why I didn't had CTDs at start, instead of just in falkreath... Anyway, it's fixed and that's what matters.

Again, thank you so much!

This mod is not abandoned. SOS SE is though.

What I think fixed this problem for me was when I loaded the XP32 skeleton AFTER this mod, instead of before.

Can anyone help me when i take my clothes off or load into a chosen life with the alternate life mod it just kicks me out

Log?

If you install Crash Logger, when the game CTDs, a log will be made in %username%\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE titled "crash-date-time.log". Attach it as a file.

Hi, I can't make the whole SoS mod work.
When I use the normal version, I have the message telling me that the DLL file is not good, that it found -1. I guess it's the problem this DLL file is supposed to solve.
However, when I installed the latest AE version, the only thing it does is a CTD when I try to play, whether it's when I start a new game or try to continue an older one.
I tried all versions but none works. I don't know if I can provide more information.
Can anyone help me, please?

I just decided to reinstall AE today in hopes that mods have been updated.
I am going step by step, currently just making sure my base setup without any SexLab works.

My problem is, that the MCM Menu for SOS doesnt show up.

Using Alternative Start, do I need to actually "start" the game by selecting where I want to start in my cell, or am I missing some setup-step?

Edit: Started the game, still no SOS Menu
nvm apparently I managed to download Oldrim SOS like an absolute idiot

I dunno if this is a problem with this DLL, the SE Version or one of my newer mods, but a few hours ago (after porting and installing Inconsequential NPCs) all male NPCs lost their Schlongs.

Is there any way for me to check why?
According to the SOS MCM they have schlongs, but when I undress them, they have underwear on.

Just some small Edits:
I also use a female Schlong, but those still work.

It also seems like there is a disconnect between head and body on these NPCs

I really dont know what did it. 2h of trying to fix it by uninstalling and re-installing of mods. Finally just used the "Remove SOS" Option and made a save, quit, started the game up again and restarted it, and now it seems to work.

I am dumbstruck atm.

Currently experiencing the following issue:

I have both the original SoS SE and this AE patch installed. However, the schlongs themselves aren't available at all. None of the characters have any, and they don't show up in the MCM either. I've tried reinstalling the SE version, the AE version, XP32, even Racemenu to see if that affected anything. Nothing.

I have no idea how to fix this (if it helps, I'm using Nexus Mod Manager).

Working for me.

Pre-req's

Skyrim SE 1.6.342

SKSE 2.1.4

SOS 1.1.4

Then...

Copied the DLL from the Dec 17th 2021 file archive in this thread (SOS AE.7z) and pasted over the DLL that was from SOS 1.1.4 contained in   ..\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins\

(make sure to pick the DLL that coincides with what AVX instructions your processor can handle. For example, my intel 11800h laptop processor can handle AVX512, but my newer gen intel 12900k can't, because intel is dumb. So make sure you use hwinfo to check what your processor supports!)

But I'm also running previous versions of SL mods that were current back when 1.6.342 was around, so I'm not sure if that would change if I upgraded everything to 1.6.353.

Oh and make sure to use this version of racemenu --> https://www.patreon.com/posts/racemenu-0-4-19-59959475

Got curious what would happen if I updated everything to .353, and it works great for me.

I had 'downgraded' skyrim SE from 1.6.353 to 1.6.342, so in order to update it to the current version again I had to:

1. 'Purg' all mods through vortex

2. 'Uninstall' skyrim from/through steam

3. Download and reinstall from steam

4. Open once then close from steam

5. Update to latest SKSE version

6. Update all plugins to match new version

7. 'Deploy' all mods in vortex

New setup:

Skyrim SE (AE) 1.6.353

SKSE 2.1.5

Still SOS 1.1.4 base install (I'm using vortex)

Then I picked the SOS AE 1.0.3.7z .dll (AVX2 version for my 12900k CPU) to overwrite the one from the SOS 1.1.4 archive

In addition, I made sure I updated to the latest Papyrus, jcontainers, fisses, cbpc, 3ba, AND racemenu from vortex. I had been using outdated versions of those to work with 1.6.342, so now that I'm on 1.6.353 I made sure to grab all the latest updates.

Hopefully this helps anyone struggling. Big takeaways for me is making sure to use the right AVX version, make sure to use a compatible combination of mods for whatever version of SE/AE you're on

that's a given. Wrong game version. Use the SE version, then overwrite the .dll within that mod with the one from this mod.

>SE one i have some issues with it slot 52

load the mod esp in SSEEdit and change which slot it uses then.

Prelude:
The SOS DLL is garbage. It's buggy. It's making everyone flacid...
It just needs to be rebuilt completely. Until then - this should work for you.

*NOTE: If you know how to work with this type of thing  - here is the DLL Source:

SchlongsOfSkyrim_Development Scripts [SOURCE ONLY].zip
If you manage to fix this and create a proper AE Install, you'll be the Schlong-God.

FIRST:

If you're getting a "Crash To Desktop"- type of error OR an issue when applying armour/clothing - scroll to the bottom of this post for potential fixes for those issues.

Also - If this helps you, let me know :)

On we go...

Download SoS SE 1.1.4 - https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/5355-schlongs-of-skyrim-se/
Download SoS AE DLL 1.0.3 - https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/20136-sos-ae/

** MAKE SURE YOU'RE USING THE LATEST DLL (Dated 2022) or you will fail.

Requirements:
Skyrim SE v1.6.xxx (YES, even 353)

+ Latest Versions of:::::

SKSE64 2.1.5https://skse.silverlock.org/beta/skse64_2_01_05.7z
USSEP 4.2.6a - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/266
PapyrusUtil 4.3https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/13048
Address Library 5.0 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32444
XPMSSE 4.8https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1988
SkyUI 5.2 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12604
FNIS 7.6 ("XXL" Version Recommended) - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3038

MCM Helper 1.3.2https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/53000

EXTREMELY SUGGESTED for anyone using ANY MODS::::

LOOT 0.18.2 - (Load Order Optimization Tool) - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1918 (64-bit unless your PC is shit)
FNIS 7.6 (Fore's New Idles Skyrim) XXL Version in Option Files recommendedhttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3038

----- *and the Creatures Pack, found under Optional Files, if you plan on plowing or being pounded by beasts and animals instead of seeing a therapist - you sick f*ck...

SO ----
- Install ALL Requirements - (Deploy and ensure all related Plugins are Enabled)
- Install SOS via NMM or MO2 - (It's a FOMOD installer, so follow directions. Do a quick web search if you're not sure which version of AVX your processor supports)
- Run LOOT - (Click "Sort Plugins" then "Apply Sorted Load Order") hell, click "Update Masterlist" first if it makes you feel fuzzy...)
------- LOOT Tip: If you see any "ITM records found" in LOOT (you can't miss the notices) - you might as well fix them - so go download SSE Edit 4.0.4, or latest, from NexusMods (also known as "xEdit")
------- If you read the info provided on the download page, accompanying links, or even just within the app (it will give you links if it finds a potential issue, incompatibility, or patch you might need) - it's incredibly simple.
------- You don't have to do any troubleshooting - just run one plugin at a time (the ones reporting ITM records in LOOT)
------- Close and re-open xEdit between each fix - you'll see what I mean.

*Literally, do not make any manual changes... just let it do the work, unless you know what you're doing.

- Run FNIS - (Click "Update FNIS Behaviours" and wait. If you have a lot of animations installed, it may take a moment)

------- When running FNIS -
------- BE SURE to select "Skeleton Arm Fix" under "Available Patches" when using XPMSSE or others (which you need anyway)

- THEN
Copy DLL file from "SoS AE 1.0.3" and Paste into "your game folder/SKSE/Plugins/"

*LOAD ORDER: (LOOT should take care of this on its own, but if you want to double check...)
Just make sure it's at least in this order - even if you have other mods between them:

USSEP (Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch) is pretty much first, as usual*

Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm

Schlongs of Skyrim.esp

And just to be thorough -

If you're using SexLab:

SexLab 1.64c (is for SE/AE v1.6.xxx) - https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/20058-sexlab-se-sex-animation-framework-v164c-010722/

You'll also want this Compatibility Plugin:

(I couldn't find the original, and i looked for a while, so i decided to just upload the file...)

Schlongs of Skyrim - SexLab Addon SE 1.1.zip

**If I come across the original link again, I'll replace this with the proper link and credit.

NOW VERY IMPORTANT AFTER NEW INSTALL ----

Start a NEW GAME / SAVE!

Ideally, I assume, you also have some kind of physics plugin already installed (ie. CBP, CBPS, HDT-SMP, yada yada)

Also NOTE:

Many armours and clothing are tagged by Schlongs of Skyrim as both Slot 32 and Slot 52, simultaneously.

When checking slots, you might see the same piece of armour/clothing shown for both slots. (For example - shorts and shirt, or bra and thong, two-piece swim suit, etc.)

When SoS is installed, it might set one particular piece of armour or clothing as both Slot 32 AND Slot 52. Then, when you try adding another piece of the outfit, Skyrim will assume you are intending to put on a new or identical piece, that occupies the same Slot.
FIX: Equip one item, then go to the SoS MCM, set the piece of cloting to "Revealing" under Player settings, and then equip the second piece of armor/clothing.

Still Problems? - Double check any mods (usually from Nexus) you're already using don't have an SOS patch in Misc or Optional files - they're not all that uncommon.

***********NOW ONTO CTD FIX************

The SOS DLL needs rebuilt and recompiled. It's garbage.  Until that happens this fix should make you hard again:

Quick note
Whenever you download an ESL(ESPFE), remove a mod that uses one, or change your load order - the SoS DLL might freak the F**K out and cause a CTD when you try loading a saved game.

* The Fix *
If you know how to check your Skyrim crash log and see something like "Crash on SchlongsofSkyrim.DLL" - and/or - you just want to try anything at all that might fix your issue -

Follow these instructions:

STEP 1. If using Mod Organizer, go to the DATA tab and find the "Schlongs of Skyrim DLL" in your SKSE Data folder. Right click the DLL, and HIDE IT.

- Alternatively - if using Nexus Mod Manager, use your regular Windows File Explorer to navigate to you Skyrim install directory, then enter they Data folder, then the SKSE folder. Select the "ShlongsOfSkyrim.DLL" and either rename it or change the extention from DLL to something like BAK or ZZZ - anything really. You're not going to hurt it - you'll change it back in a minute.

STEP 2. Re-launch Skyrim. SoS will spit out errors, instead of semen, but the game will load.

STEP 3. Make a completely fresh Save, then Exit to Desktop.

STEP 4. Go back to the Schlongs DLL and right click, and UNHIDE it. Load your game and play as normal.
