For me was the "sex" hapeen but no the animations. I low the setting to 33, 33 and meanwhile i dont fight yet meawhile i made the new test ( i am finishing the come fly with me quest ) i had like 2 night on novac and anybod try stalk me. A dont know if be cause i had sunny smile and ED-E with and need be alone or simple bad luck ( or good luck ? ). Anyway i will continue testing and wating for updates.

Hope that the old 'resist' against stalking (targeting the rapist and pressing right mouse key) will find the way back in version 2 (player must aktiv do something to resist, not only values decides). Also nice: If sleep/wait rape is on and you have a companion with you the chance to be a victim should be reduced. Looking forward to future updates.
Nverjos Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 Update 6-7-2013 - New Beta Build Up -Fixed Companions not working (Except Arcade) -Small tweaks to MCM menu (nothing you'll notice) -Should no longer get a crowd of stalkers around you now when already being raped. -Took out the "push" effect with random rapes for less ragdolling around beforehand. (looks a little awkward now, but personally prefer not being tossed about the area) -Added check for SexAssaultBannedActor to combat rape -Maximum distance for combat rape changed to 500 (1000 just felt really really unrealistic) -Removed Robot toggle completely (may return in future if animations happen for them) Updated Download in OP *Note* The distance change isn't permanent, I'll be working on a system to extend the distance after the initial rape for the chain gang effect. But the initial rape with a setting of 1000 just felt really unrealistic.

Like "Professional Victim of the Wasteland", after 25 combat rapes for example? Might give one an extra-point to damage-threshold, or something like that! I simply love these little kind of surprises/rewards popping up in mods... I don't foresee perks being added, it's something that is beyond the scope of this mod. My intent is to keep the feel of the original BR and enhance it with a little realism through the "smart" options. Besides that I do believe there are perks similiar to that in the SexoutLust already, and I don't intend to encroach into other peoples mods. Hi, nice work until now. I wasn't aware there was an active resist in the original. I do plan on enhancing how and when Combat Rapes trigger with the "Smart" option so as to make it rely more on you're characters over all condition and not just a health percentage. As for companions, they'll add to defense against rapes in the "Smart" options at some point. I'm also toying with the idea of them being raped along side you during sleep/wait rapes.

I believe that is what he means about the resist rape. I don't think it ever made it in to the coding but it seemed like the right click was meant for something.

That has nothing to do with any sexout plugin. That is the autofocus that adjusts itself, just like it would if you right click and zoom when not engaged in other activities. The screen effect still applies, although player controls are disabled and no zoom takes place.
D_ManXX2 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 maybe there are confused with oblivion rape system ?? that was the only one who had a blocking mechanism pressing right mouse button. Right mouse button for new vegas is just the zoom key when targeting with a weapon.

Though now that I see everyone talking about the "turn and look at the rapist to back them off" thing, I do sort of vaguely remember reading about that when I first installed the original version of the mod, like... sheesh... a year ago? Anyway, I don't know if it ever actually worked, but I think there was talk about resisting rapes at one point, back in the day.Returning to the lurk-o-sphere now...

Niobia Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I have some small suggestions/requests, no idea if anyone else would considered it realistic or not, but back when I first used the old BR and had stalkers turned on, I always found it really awkward and strange that my character and the other person would just get up like nothing happened and move on. I was thinking that after a stalker assault, maybe your character could black out and wake up a certain amount of time later (maybe how long depends on how powerful the attack was or it could be random ranging from an hour to like 6 or something). Maybe in some instances you can wake up at a doctor's place if it's close by. The other idea is to have a feature that lets your and NPCs report assaults. Like if you're raped by a citizen somewhere, you can report it to a guard or maybe even Regulators that the mod could add in (in which case sometimes they'll help you and other times they wont). These are probably more trouble than they seem, but I'm just thinking out loud pretty much.

A pre-rape option is easy enough with using stats and comparisons between vicitm/rapist, however an option for during is something I don't think would be possible since I'm not sure how Sexout would handle having its animation call's interrupted (or if its even possible to interrupt Sexout once its started). I'm still very new to the Sexout API and learning through trial and error what it does and doesn't like (the freezing bug from too many calls a couple days ago is a great example) For creatures could the 'smart' filter be a certain armor level instead of clothing type? Halstrom had given me a similiar idea that I'd like to implent using the damaged clothing/armor system he was working on. I've been contemplating using durability of said armors if both smart stalk/rape and damage equipment are turned on till Halstrom (or someone else) gets that particular swapping system in place.

It was only applied to combat rapes, and it never seemed to work. Not for me, anyway. None the less it was a good idea, and if something like that was possible and not only with combat rapes, and actually working, then I'd be a happy bunny. Another thing someone else was mentioning, was the awkwardness of having your character raped, and afterwards the rapist and the PC would carry on as if nothing had happened. It once happened with Neil raping my character when they met on top of Black Mountain. Very awkward. If that happens, it would be cool if either the rapist left the scene, or the victim woke up somewhere else. Also, I think it should break the rapsist involment in quests, possible breaking the quest itself. Anyway, thank for all your work.

The only thing I spotted is not 'ported' from the previous brutal rapers is compatibility with sewer slave. As in console it says 'no brutal rapers detected'. However most likely it should be changed on sewer slave side.

It was not BR's responsibility to maintain banned lists for other mods, and it is probably not a good idea to have the new version do that either except as a temporary compatibility measure while still in the testing phase.

This ^ Other mods can add their npc's to various banned and restricted list provided by Sexout and SSR/SCR. Only reason I'm currently putting options in for other mods (like Doc M for sofo) is because I don't currently have access to all the list, this is actually going to be changed however in the next build as I'm currently implementing SSR and SCR List, toys, and variables. I do believe I read that Pride was going to attempt making SS not rely on BR anyways and was going to implement some form of a kidnapping system instead.

I will note with BR the newer versions did not work either, while older versions worked fine. This with no changes whatesover to the mods beyond going back a version. If you know which actor originally had SexoutBegin/SexoutNGBegin CIOS'd on them you can CIOS the spells SexoutNGPause, SexoutNGResume and SexoutNGFinishNow on the same actor. They pause the sexout timer, resume the sexout timer and cause a sex act to terminate respectively. Be aware that SexoutLust also manages the Sexout timer and any time you mess with the timer, you may conflict with SexoutLust. Not that that is a bad thing, just something to tell users about.
