**Update June 9, 2013** New Beta Build Up

-Recommend a clean save without SexAssault installed for this update, a lot has changed script/plugin wise

-Major Change: Now Requires SSR or SCR

-Creature/Animal Combat Rape fixed

-Smart Rape/Stalk for animals now uses the Exposed Crotch list, you may now use Clothing_Eval to add armors that smart rape will recognize

-Smart Rape/Stalk will no longer cause the player to freeze in place due to being naked with a creature/animal abuser.

-Toys are now able to be used by female abusers if turned on in the MCM menu

-Removed Doc Mitchell toggle, SexAssault now checks the DataIsReserved list in SSR/SCR

-Random Rapes will stop while the player is a prostitute now

-General cleanup of debug code, less spam in console when debug mode enabled.

 

I don't want to make an official download for this just yet, but it was recommended that I post it outside the standard BR thread. Here is current preview of the BR rewrite. This is very much a Beta (perhaps even alpha at this point) as I'm still tweaking things, but I feel its good enough for a little public testing. There will most likely be bugs and as such I do not recommend using on a save file you intend to keep. Post any bugs or conflicts here or PM them to me.

 

This is a complete rewrite and with the exception of maybe five lines of code and the overall theme, nothing is from the original Brutal Rapers. It was recommended I keep the new name I had given it and post it seperate. Do Not Use With Brutal Rapers Installed.

 

Sexout Sex Assault (or Brutal Rapers 2)

 

Requirements:

SexoutNG v2.6.77 or higher

SexoutSharedResources or SexoutCommonResources

 

Things to note:

-This version will not work with any previous version of Brutal Rapers installed.

-There is currently no support for non-vanilla companions in combat rape.

 

**Major Changes from Brutal Rapers**

 

Random Rapes (or Stalkers) - Not fully tested as I don't have a save file past Primm.

-Exterior Toggle, while On will stop random rapes from happening inside buildings or caves. I recommend leaving this on.

-Sleep/Wait rapes now have a seperate slider for frequency and is unaffected by the exterior toggle

-Even at 100% Chance there is a small chance that no stalker or victim will be found (this is intentional)

-Men are three times more likely to become a potential stalker than a woman.

-Likewise, women are three times more likely to become a potential victim than a man

-There is a thirty minute cooldown period for both victims and rapist where they cannot become a victim or rapist. This cooldown period does not affect the player or their companions.

-During Sleep/Wait rapes if two potential rapist are found you may end up in a threesome.

 

Combat Rapes

-There is a slider for distance, it is measure in game units, 100 to 500, 250 being just outside melee range.

-Multiple Rapes toggle, while on allows for your character to be chain ganged by all in the vicinity if they pass all other checks. While off you are temprorarliy given a two minute immunity to further rapes.

-If two potential rapist are found nearby you may end up in a threesome.

 

Player Initiated Stalking and Combat Rapes  (WIP, though it does work)

-Pressing "X" while in combat will start a Sexual Assault with the player as the abuser. Victim must be under the same health and distance requirements of the player. (Does not work on creatures or animals)

-Pressing "X" while out of combat and in sneak mode will start a sexual assault with the player as the abuser. Victim must not be able to detect the player for this to work. (Does not work on creatures or animals)

-The button may be changed in the MCM menu.

 

Smart Stalk (random rapes)

While smart stalk is active Human and Non-Feral Ghouls will only stalk at night and while their victim is not looking. If the Victim happens to turn around a stalker will feign to lose interest till the victim turns their attention elsewhere. If however a victim pulls their weapon out and then catches the stalker, their is a chance the stalker will be scared off for good.

 

Smart Rape (combat rapes)

While smart rape is active, Human and Non-Feral Ghouls will not attempt combat rapes if the amount of time needed to prep themselves or their victim would take to long, (IE wearing power armor or the distance is to far)

 

Creature/Animal Smart versions

Creature or Animals will not attempt to stalk or combat rape while Smart Stalk/Rape options are on unless their victim is wearing crotchless clothes.

 

Karma/Faction Checks

-Karma Check will turn most of your average citizens into non-potential stalkers.

-Even with the Karma check off those with high karma will not become stalkers (Sunny for example will never stalk)

-Faction Check does not affect Powder Gangers, Legion, or Fiends, these three factions I felt were more likely to not care one way or another if you were friend or foe, you can however disable them from Faction Settings still.

 

Optional Settings

-Equipment Drop only affects the player now, this was done to forgo needing further AI package changes being needed for NPC's

-Equipment Damage is now a flat rate based on an attackers strength score, some creatures do more than others.

-Equipment Theft, there is a chance of either Drinks, drugs or Caps being stolen, never all three.

-Drugging, chance a potential rapist will drug you first, while under the influence of roofie you will temporarily lose 15 AP for 2 minutes (does not stack from multiple rapes)

 

Faction/Compatibility Settings

-You can now disable most of the major factions, this should help with compatibility with other mods.

-You can now disble Veronica or Cassidy if you have Msex Veronica installed, this will stop them from participating in Random Rapes (they can still be combat raped)

-Support for Breeder Mod factions will come later in a seperate compatibility patch, for now I recommend turning Random Rapes to 0 when doing any Breeder Quest

Thanks for that.

Both the SCR & SSR versions of sofo I have ready to go still put him in the SexoutSLActorDataIsReserved; getting a specific opt-out while you keep either resource out of the picture is really appreciated. :)

No problem. I'm only using the default BannedActor list in Sexout right now, so till I put SCR/SSR as a master I'll have toggles in place for certain NPC's so the rapist AI doesn't over take them.

Hell I completely forgot about Store (never even thought of Agent).

 

I'm not sure if you can BuildRef a list or not, I'd assume it would be like any other time you do it. Though I do use the normal BannedActor list which I know SCR adds too, so if SCR is installed it should populate the bannedactor list for this mod to read, not sure if SSR populates that list as well. I do believe SCR adds the store ones to BannedActor.

This isn't an official release anyways, I just want it up so I could a few more people testing it as my time has dwindled quite a bit with my sister in the hospital and her son living with me for the time being.

 

I do plan on using SSR and SCR for List/Toys but I want to wait maybe another week or so for Pride and Hal to get settled more with them.

Shouldn't give problems, although I haven't tried; it's a matter of what you use them for. It's not a solution for the various clothing appearance lists & the getequipped checks against them that I use, for instance, but if it's a matter of just checking an actor ref against an actor list & setting a quest var ref, that's perfectly possible.

Now that I think about it, Store should be perfectly fine so long as the Exterior Only toggle is left on. It's a solution till I give BuildRef a try and post an update later tonight or tomorrow.

I always BuildRef lists to add to them, so I know you can BuildRef a list. The problem is that the GECK doesn't accept a ref variable in every function, so the one you're using might not.

 

At the moment, Store adds NPCs directly to the BR banned list. Agent does so as well, and it also adds some directly to Sexout's banned list. Both also make heavy use of SCR formlists. I haven't been following the development of SSR because of the temporary e-mail notification shutdown, so I don't know how SSR works in terms of lists. I guess what I'm asking is: Is there a list in your new version that I can add to?

There is not currently a seperate banned list within the mod itself, I was actually assuming most people used DataReserved or the default Banned list in sexout, so was refrencing only them (well not DataReserved at this time). I can create one real quick and post it up though.

The main list only works if I need them banned from everything, which I don't, and Reserved only works if I want to prevent every other mod from using them, which I also don't want. I just specifically don't want them to rape anyone.

Thanks. Once this leaves beta I'll update Store to use it.

 

I'm going to give it about a week and so long as no one post any major game breakers being found i'll post an official download in the download section with an SCR and SSR version.

Found a bug, but not entirely sure what causes it. Sometimes the player and npc get frozen when (I assume) combat rape is trying to start. They just stand there doing nothing, controls become unresponsive. Happened to me first in the Bison Steve Hotel and tested it in the next building by shooting up Johnson Nash & co and got stuck too.

 

Loaded an old save, near PG prison area, provoked some people and now it did work properly, went over to BH hotel to see if it was the location and while the first two instances worked, I got stuck right at the third.

 

 

PS: Combat rape against companion did not begin either btw.

Also there is a Debug Mode available at the bottom of the General Settings, if it happens again try using that and telling me what the last code it prints out is. Code will be something like "Sexual Assault: CR - B" with a couple numbers after it. That code will tell me exactly where in the script it is getting hung up.

Actually came back here already to report that a random rape now also caused a freeze and dropped my weapon while item dropping is turned off.

 

Will edit this in a moment with my MCM options.

Robots don't have animations, I only put them incase some day they do, I should probably disable the option, or make a note of that in the MCM menu.

 

As for the freezing, I'm not sure off hand. I played for roughly 9 hours on the same save file with no freezes. I'll look into it though.

As soon as a stalking ant came close enough.

 

You'll get that particular message just for being out of combat, Combat Rape only turns on while in combat and turns itself off while not in combat. So that message will pop up every couple seconds while debug mode is active.

 

On that note I'll mention again, KO's enabled will screw with Combat Rape currently as KO's take the player out of combat, make sure they're are disabled. I have a work around for this already, but it defeats the purpose of Combat Rape toggling on and off only in combat, so I'm looking into another option.

 

Companions I'll look into as I hadn't tested them since the toggling changes with Multi Rape I made a day or so ago. (I assumed they'd stil work cause the change was rather minor.)

If thats that last message when it freezes during combat rapes, them I'm guessing my toggle isn't working right and I'll have to use the work around I currently have while I work on something else to replace it. It may be just going into the animations themselves stops combat which is stopping the combat rape from initiating fast enough, or I may have the delay to high on that script, i think its at 3 seconds currently, cause I didn't want it running to often, but often enough that it should catch in the middle of combat, though perhaps its not fast enough.

 

The character i roleplay is rather timid and avoids fights so in my current playthrough that I was testing with she didn't get in a whole lot of fights one after the other. She's more of a geeky girl who relies on her brain to avoid fights and robot minions to crush her enemies.

 

It's just past midnight now, so I'll get an updated version up tomorrow after the good ole' morning coffee.

Think that's bad? I'm beginning to think that the reason I can't figure anything out atm is because I've now stayed up till 8:15AM... ^^

The character I'd been playing was a new one I'd just created to test this mod, so my settings reflected my desire to see the mod in action as much as possible while still keeping a bare minimum of immersion, but atm it doesn't seem like I'll be able to keep it running. Loaded an older save which had less freezing problems (maybe I should elaborate: UI disappears, keyboard movement controls no longer respond and mouselook will only go up and down), but they were still there. To be sure I just now started a new game with only Sexout, SCR, MCM and SA active, threw immersion out the window and made everyone come after me, and I made it as far as Easy Pete... ^^

That one ended at RE - B2.5, have had many instances where last line before freeze was CR - B1.3 too now.

Also had 'victim at too healthy' a few times in console, while not being in combat and had 'CR - B2.2 - Unavailable' a bunch of times while I was attracting attention from large groups and not in any of the states required by the script for that message to show, so I am really confused now... and should probably go to bed anyway.....

Been sitting here for an additional 5 minutes thinking that there's something I forgot that was important to report.. but having forgotten it is making it rather hard. So.. bed..

Edit (from phone, in bed ;)): Since it all starts out fine and turns bad quickly and unplayable not long after during my 'stress tests', could it be that a certain effect is still active or so..? ... That sounded really plausible while I was half asleep.. Beginning to sound silly now.. And I'm beginning to sound slightly desperate and quite a bit insane now I think.. nn
