Extracting meshes from the game's BSA files, loading them up in blender (...or 3ds max) hacking them together and copying weights with a script or selecting a bone and painting everything red with the weight paint tool is something everyone can do that invests an hour or so in reading tutorials. No matter how you put it, yer mods ain't special. I'm not saying they are bad, just that they aren't something that justifies talking about your 'retirement from modding' like you are a big shot or smth.

well, just for you, lemme give you an idea, about what i really modded. about half of my stuff is online here. not more, not less. another quarter of gear, in higher quality and with much more work, is goin to be implemented in certain projects i supported. the last quarter, tbh, its my best works, is just for me. mainly because i got so sick of those "why not do that, but this, aaaah, its not so difficult" comments, that i decided to keep my best work only for myself, to basically tell folks like you to go fuck themselves.

 

you wonder what it is now, eh? ... well, to further boost my ego, i let go some screenshots here and there. you know, support-wikis from regular new-land mods (yeah i know. youre all just talk, but know nothing), and im happy about comments like "i want that weapon, but cant find it" ... aaaah... sweet innocence, or shall i call it stupidity? well, after all comments like yours just make me realize one thing, again and again, those that dont do anything, are always the smartest asses. and since those folks are inevitable to be avoided, smartest move is to always keep your sweetest candy for yourself.

 

its a learning curve. like all things in life. best things come at the end. and those things wont be neither here, nor on tesa, nor on nexus, but only in my personal game

I know it's easy once you understand how things work. I've done it myself, shared several things here on LL and on the nexus - not in that order, mind you - the biggest hurdle is actually knowing how to use blender (or 3ds max), the rest is a piece of cake in comparison. Doesn't matter though, even if I never did anything, we both would still be nobodies arguing on the internet. Which makes us not only nobodies but also retarded. That's that. You're talking big, but you have nothing to show but what you currently have, and that is, by all means, not much. You can claim your involvement in big projects all you want, I don't really believe someone like you could settle in one place long enough to actually make a meaningful contribution to a bigger project. No, you would burn yourself out like you always do or throw a fit and piss everyone off for no real reason.
