Looks like a navmesh coflict.

Try Placing the Bad Ends - Windhelm .esp lower in the loadorder.

Finally got around to trying this out. Fantastic. Even on my old af machine. Only real issues I've ran into are with npcs not knowing how to walk up stairs, but that's just Skyrim. I did have a question though, as far as the hanging scene goes, is there a way to survive that, or is the only survivable release the kicked off a bridge one? Either way, good job on this.

I'm also having issues with the gallows. Could it be because I also have your Interactive Gallows mod installed (that one seems to work)? It's currently overwriting your Deadly Furniture script according to MO.

If Files from my mods overwrite each other, then they are identical anyway, so there shouldn't be issues with that.

 

same as above, there's likely some other mod which makes changes to windhelms navmesh.

How exactly does your issue look?

Yes, made new character and still same issue. no mods installed that prevent player from dying. other executions work fine. everything works up until the platform drops, follower's neck snaps but player's doesnt.

Oh, OK.

 

What happens is that the player is lead out to the platform, the noose is attached, the sound indicating that the noose is raised is played by there is no visual difference. Then when the platform is dropped, the player just stands there floating in the air.

 

Hopefully that explanation is reasonably clear. :)

They're the same "Early Release" event, it's just whether you survive or not as the "pushed to your doom" is not an (inherently) lethal event unless you have something like Frostfall so you immediately begin to freeze.

As @LD5 said, its a possible outcome of the "early release" event. Set the survival chance in PA´s MCM to something high to get it.

could i have a picture of the initial pose the character assumes when the noose is attached? that might shed some light.

Also, did you try using a new save? Or does the scene work with npc´s?

Currently using Bad Ends Revived for both Riften and Windhelm.

When using the chain to start a scene in Riften, everything goes fine. But the chain in Windhelm is unresponsive, even on a new save.

Are the Bad Ends Riften and Windhelm mods compatible?

This might not be a bug report but could you please tell me what scripts/animations does the rope use in Windhelm event?

 

Here is the thing, recently I was trying some new mods, like, babodialogue, horrible harassment, public whore and meat farm. But one day I found the Windhelm hanging event doesn't function properly. More specifically, the rope won't attach. I activated the chain, followers walked to the ropes, everything was fine except the ropes won't attach to the followers' neck so they just stood there even after the event ended.

 

It worked perfectly before so I figured it's not this mod's problem. I tried to solve this but no luck, I guess it gotta be something messing around with characters' necks or status so the animation won't trigger. Can you help me with this? Thanks!

not sure what you mean by that.

The Rope Itself doesn't use any scripts. Its controlled by an invisible furniture Marker below it.

Scripts are written from scratch by me and animations are duplicates from Zap8.
