I'd like to know this too. I love the added content and the art, but I already had a list of empires I really like made with portrait replacers that the director's cut deletes even when put after them in the loading order.

It'd be nice to have a way to combine the Regular non-replacer version with all the other content of the director's cut.

Some Void-Stone Hybrids don't have portraits for some reason. I suspect it has to do smth with being commanders.

I think the interbreeding system isn't fully working, I got moltens and cows and had the event happen, it says it created a red heifer pop, but no new species or subspecies appeared. I also got the planetary modifiers for interbreeding but nothing happens during them event though the description does imply something should be happening.

I'll implement 90% of these, but I'm also a turd. I'm a maniac and I strongly believe that "eachother" and "infact" ought to be added to teh dictionary. If "indeed" is a word, then "infact" counts too! XD

Uh, theoretically all you would need to do is download the DC version. Delete the "common\portrait_categories", "common\portrait_sets", and "gfx\portraits\portraits" folders. Then replace said deleted folders with the ones found inside of the Regular Portrait Pack. Have fun!!!

The interbreeding system was a lot of work and I think it's in an acceptable state. Making a dynamic new system is hard and I'm not a super code monkey. I won't bore y'all with the details, but I have some ideas on how to handle certain edge cases like this. I don't even need to know specifics of this bug report. I can already guess why it happened. I'll have to do a slight overhaul to fix it though. So mid level priority for me to fix.

I think something got borked in the last update. The prescripted nations in the Director's Cut don't have their extra starting species. Storm Legion still has Succubus Livestock and Stable Celest still has Pet Primitive, but I'm guessing that's because those species are tied to origins.

This again seems to work like intended. The 'extra' species are spawned a few days after game start, but only if their currestonding empire is present on the game map.

Just wanna let you know that in empire creation "bulbous" has a different graphic whenever i scroll past.  Don't know if it's the same in game, I'm doing psionic this run.

The fanatic xenophobe fallen empire shows up with a standard portrait for some reason? I could have sworn that during my first contact with them they had a normal art portrait too, weirdly enough.

Quick question for the Muta Paragon Fennigan story; am I supposed to get a followup event after I get to the event that says "just send her to gene therapy" or such? I clicked that option and have not gotten a followup, and she's stuck on the really bad mutagenic exposure III trait.

Don't know if this is the root cause or not, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having issues with psionic pops not having psionic leaders.  I'm running Gigas, UIOD, LV, Directors cut, Trait Pack, and Sex rights.  It may have something to do with me using a tentacle world origin?  Since I upgraded my pops via the tentacle festival, maybe the game is removing psychic from the leaders cause of trait picks remaining being negative?  I don't know whats going on exactly.  I think I'll try starting a vanilla run with as similar a build as I can get and see if they lose the trait there, too.  Gonna take me a few days unfortunately.

Ok am now just playing with Lv mods and Cal mods and I can now play the pre-made empires. 

 

Oh for and I removed the mods Tempting Tides, and Mango's Lewd Diplomacy.

 

Green Court and Civilian Hub Network are however still missing.

I just want to point out that your Ozmos Dynasty pre-scripted empire ends up crashing the game as soon as I click "BEGIN!" at the start of the game

lol nah, I don't even remember half the shit that I add or change over the course of a DLC cycle. Sorry. It's just a unecessary extra step to my workflow tbh. I make dozens of minor tweaks that no one would notice and I also prefer to secretly fix bugs that I find before people notice :E

lol XD nah that's the end. I know I know. It's unceramonious, but if I don't have something important to say, then it also won't justify the creation of custom event artwork. which is a lot of work. BUT I like what you're implying. I'll look into adding a "cure her" dialogue option... but later. not a high priority thing

My mod doesn't really fuck with psionic shit, so probably not me

I'll try checking the integrity of my game files, then see if I can't find the crash report, if it fails to address the issue.

None. I probably just need to clean up my game, though. It's probably been a bit fucky from all the loading and unloading of mods I've been doing on a regular basis.

That, or it was corrupted by outdated advisor mods and an outdated Citizens Rights file.
