Yeh, my hybridization system is by designs a "some species mix well other don't" so it requires player management to keep two pops segregated if need be manually, or whatever the desired result you want. Moltens are meanies, and they drain compatible pops while giving you an infertile hybrid back as an "oops, best I can do is give you half of them back on lease for 5 months" Now, some combos you can moderate with the event researches. You can also sometimes control species mixing with my citizenship rights mod. BUT idk when I can update that for 4.4 soz

idk what you mean. If things are broken, I'll need names so I can know where to look.... Otherwise, during empire creation, hovering your mouse over them will tell you what prerequisites you need to use them. OR, you could go into the traits folder and delete the files you don't want. Wait, do you have Lustful Void installed? that is a dependancy.

kk, I had done the tankbound stuff but forgor the psionic stuff. hopefully it works now

There's at least 15-20 traits that you cannot put onto a species. They're like mutagenic so and so. They simply have "cannot be applied" in debug. I have all required mods yes.

If I'm understanding you correctly, those are added via the, and this may not be the exact wording but, "mutagenic breeders" origin, and they get added to species that live as slaves on worlds ruled by mutagenic breeders.

To clarify, the portraits are still in the mod folder itself, but they are not showing up in game at all.

Adding some more info. Apparently this problem is happening with both the normal version of the mod and the Directors Cut version

I found the solution, it's pretty easy to fix.
When Synthetic Dawn was merged into the base game recently, the DLC was removed, but the mod's 00_portrait_sets file is still checking for it. Because it doesn't exist, and you no longer have it, the portraits are hidden.

You can fix it by changing 00_portrait_sets.txt. Remove the synthetic dawn conditional portraits block, and replace it so it looks like this:

machines = {
	species_class = MACHINE

	portraits = {
		"babe_custodes"
		"babe_cyborg"
		"babe_robot"
		"babe_warbot"
		"lv_sexbot_humanoid"
		"babe_incubator"
		"babe_sexbot"
		"babe_deathclaw"
	}

Anybody else getting blank event spam? Stuck on Stellaris 4.3 cause LV hasn't had its update yet (saying it gets released) and everyday in game I'm getting spam blasted. If there's a work around or a 4.3 legacy version of this mod somebody could point me towards I'd appreciate it.

howdy love the mod. im a reg user not directors cut user my self. is there a way for me to make reg a replacer like directors cut i would enjoy seeing your portarits over the base game portraits on the ai but reg doesnt do that sadly

Not really. but the version I just uploaded today is the most stable version we can get rn

yeh they changed some event syntax on me, I've got stuff updated now, hopefully it's ready now

I could, I just have to put the work in. but it's been on my todo

 

BTW latest Directors Cut download should be mostly stable, but do keep the bug reports coming

From a single very quick check yes, all of the mutagenic traits that you cannot ever add have been removed from the options.

Hey i am having a problem, (no doubt me doing something stupid or forgetting to download something) none of the starting factions are showing up when i start a new game. where they removed?
