nuka world AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

I've had a fuckton of issues with this mod and they were all caused by the alt. version of it, which is a bummer because it integrates some cool shit but it breaks my game whereas the original mod works flawlessly.  Not sure what the deal is.

I worked out how to do the quest.  If you have not done the Travis Confidence quest this will trigger, BUT do not wait until 6pm to start the quest.  Instead continue with the poster quest and leave the Dug Out.  You can complete the Confidence quest later.

There actually is a new version of Devious Devices which has been worked on by members of the community for the last few months.  It fixes several issues of the original including removing the erroneous dependency of AWKCR from the file header.  It is currently referred to as Devious Devices Community Patch and the current version is RC8.  It also requires version 2.2 beta 3 of TortureDevices.  I've been using it for a couple months now and it's working great.  There's even an updated Fusion Girl Bodyslide Conversion.

i cant seem to get the mod to work after installing Nukaride_3.2.4 all i get is fallout saying missing plugin .esp or files are missing

Do you have other mods installed and working with either Vortex or Mod Organizer 2?

Have you followed the Adult Oriented Setup Guide? 

 

If yes to both questions, what's the exact error message?

You don't need to click on anything in there if you are using Vortex, ignore that mod menu.  Once you get into the game there's a "Mod Options" which is the Mod Configuration Menu, and that's ok to use, because you can customize some of the mods in there.  But the Mod menu you are in on that screen shot is not what you want.  Make sure your mods are enabled and installed in Vortex properly and follow that guide I linked above to the letter.  Check the other Fallout guide in my signature in the spoiler for more help with basic mod setup stuff.  Check out some guides on how to use Vortex as well.

I occasionally get this.  Check the Plugins tag in Vortex to make sure all plugins are activated.  The game has a habit of deactivating plugins.

In Lucy in the Sky is the Overboss supposed to accompany the porn actor to the stream after he says he will watch from afar?  He says he will watch from afar but nothing happens.  The quest says to talk to the Overboss but nothing happens.  

 

I can't get the Overboss to stay away when I go to the stream.  He keeps following me, so nothing is happening when i go done to the stream to attract the pervert.

Hi,

Thanks for this mod. Enjoying so far, except ran into a problem at this point:

I had completed the Apollo quest and returned to Corsican. The dialog saying Apollo was available for filming came up ok after a brief chat.

I then talked more, he mentioned about the flagpole and I got the line asking  "him to return the 2 boxes". I also got the party outfit and it was equipped ok but there was no quest marker or anything to suggest going to see Mason after the dialog completed. I went to Mason anyway but he just sits on his throne ignoring me.

 

This is using ver 3.2.4 and having started a new game.

Did I miss something ?

Re-download the mod and reinstall. Load a save before talking to Corsican about the flagpole, and try again.

He should go to the roof of the farm. He doesn't say anything to you when you talk to him?

I think it would be cool if your character started enjoying her new lifestyle including the clothing with a journal that updates when she goes places and does things for her job it might be hard to do but i'm not sure

He is stuck in giving his abusive spiel if spoken to.  That's all he does.  He has not gone to the roof.  

 

The game crashes a lot during this quest.  There is also an attack by swarmbots during conversation with Mr Blake, which breaks the conversation.

Thanks JB. I did this and took my save from the point of completion of Apollo questline while I was still in area with Nisha. I'm on my way to the overboss now.

hello, I'm currently doing lucy in the sky quest however after speaking with blake and the quest advancing to speak with connie there is nothing from connie. so far I have tried starting the quest line again from an earlier save, recycled connie, I have tried using sqt and typing completequest _nukaride_lucy. Is there something I'm doing wrong or anything I can do to move on.

You are the first with that problem. It may be interference from another mod. I don't know if recycling Connie in the middle of that mission is a good idea.

About your specific problem, I suspect a script lag. Because the Overboss should not follow you, but go to the roof of the farm. (You don't have a mod that edits the farm or its surroundings, right? Because that would be a problem.)

 

You're not playing with Harrasment, are you? The Overboss may be stalking you via that mod.

 

 

Man, there can be a thousand causes, that's why I need the buffout report to at least see what causes the crash.

For the Nuka Station bug, I tripped it, so ......  is there any way to save this game or will I have to start over and remember to "not" trip the fence line?

 

Since I do a lot of settlement building, my games have about 5 hours building, 1 hour playing ratio.   The good news is that my avatars are usually only level 2 (I reduced experience gain down to 1/100th the rate of accumulation, making every gun battle super deadly...I run from Mr. Gutsy's)

So after I tried the mod first time and Mason wouldn't talk to my character, I decided to give mod another chance and start over from the beginning. It went well this time, and man oh man... Nuka Ride is great!

 

You know, vanilla Fallout 4 is a great game, and even a good RPG. Of course it has some problems, but with mods you can boost exploration, sandbox, and immersion aspects, add hundreds of new toys and enjoy game even after 1000 or 2000 hours. But in it's core it would still remain a typical Fallout 4, with exploration, shooting, and building some settlements gameplay loop. But with Nuka Ride (and adding to that couple of other mods) you can actually break out of typical Fallout gameplay loop and play absolutely differently.

 

So with Start Me Up I started playing not as Nora the vault dweller and mother of dragons Shaun, but just as a random wastelander. But on my other Start Me Up "random guy/gal" playthrough attempts, I got bored very quickly, because there was no engaging story behind, so it's the same Fallout 4 loop, just without cohesive main story.

But when I combined Start Me Up (level 5 character) with Survival Options (for save/autosave options and damage taken x 4) and most importantly Nuka Ride, now hard gameplay and story actually engaged me to role-play a very different type of character. No more running and shooting, no more scavenging, building farms and water purifiers. Now I can really play a non-combat oriented character, a realistic hard-working girl, who doesn't have to scavenge and shoot things all day long. And even when I tried to go hunt animals for food (like I did in all my other survival-oriented playthroughs), I realised there is not much level 5 character can do in Nuka World with all those deadly crickets running around. So after my character was killed like 7 times in a row by animals, and 4 more times by supermutants and some aggressive Disciples, only way left for my gal to survive in this harsh wasteland and not starve to death without food and water, is to use her looks and pussy. And that's when the fun began.

 

JB., first of all, you've done amazing job with dialogs.

Second of all, the way you implemented fast traveling (from Nuka Town to Goodneighbor or Diamond City) into the story, is actually one of the reasons your gal doesn't need to be a good fighter or sneak master to survive. She doesn't need to travel so far on foot, therefore she doesn't have to deal with all the aggressive NPC's in the wasteland. She's a porn star, a very talented and hard-working hooker, and it has its benefits. So it's still a survival, but not a shoot/sneak/build survival.

Third, I like the way you implemented outfits into story and quests. My only nitpick would be that your girl sometimes still complains about high heels or skimpiness even after she already experienced what comes with a job of a hooker and porn star.

And fourth, you made nice story-related character progression. It really feels like your character is not just a hooker who fucks for roleplay purposes only. She builds her popularity and reputation as porn star, builds relationships with Nuka gangs and NPC's. It's very engaging.

 

I don't know how many total quest there are in Nuka Ride, but at this moment I played like 10+ hours, until quest when The Operator girl (new movie director) shows up in Golden Globes. And I must say, strictly from perspective of the quest mods, it was my most fun 10+ hours of playing since New Vegas Bounties and Skyrim's Amorous Adventures.

Ran through the new version (3.2.4)  directly after emerging from the vault and found no issues that stopped the advance of my game.  Very clean.  There were a few odd things but they were very minor. 

Someone mentioned that the "William outfit" didn't fit right (same for me). 

I was paid for a scene with Apollo and got a line about "being his bitch" only after the next quest was done.  That was weird. 

Trash was heaped up on the door of the tattoo shop even after it was open... it did not stop entry, just looked odd.

It looked like someone had proofed about half the mod for English... that sound right?

Anyway, just minor stuff.

Yeah, that outfit (for FG body) was clipping in my game, so I corrected it in outfit studio.

Where is the buffout report located?  There are no crash logs in the My Docs F4SE folder. 

 

I keep my mods to a minimum.  The only active scripts are Hardship and Violate.  I usually disable Hardship for Nukaride.

Check your 'Documents\my games\Fallout4\F4SE' directory and look for files starting with 'crash-'.
