AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

So far, I have both those working as well.  @dav42 instructions helped.   One of these days one of us will get a full account at hugging face (https://huggingface.co/) to build a FAQ .

That's probably overkill.

Just keeping a section on the OP should be enough. With an installation guide PDF in the optional files of the downloads.

At first glance, I see a [FE:26D] FO4LODGen-DLCNukaWorld.esp

Which doesn't make sense to use with a mod that changes the entire Nuka World. You need to review your mod list more carefully.

I love the

"Why whould you do this.esp"
"I am fixes more stuff.esp"
"seriously bruh.esp"

.

If I didn't know better I'd be absolutely convinced you were trolling me.😵‍💫

LODGen shouldn't interfere with Nuka Ride, and indeed shows no conflicts in cells or worldspaces in xEdit. All it does is affect LODs.

The key thing that I seemed to see in the crash logs are an issue with a hair mod, KSHairdos. I'll have to look closer. Probably (?) not related to Nuka Ride. Also, the randomly named .esp files are patches, this is a wabbajack modlist (that I've edited).

Uhm, maybe one of the 900 plugins you have?  I suspect your going to have a lot of problems.  Since your running NAF, did you convert the NR AAF XMLs?

I did not, I completely forgot! I will do so now.

The vast majority of the plugins are of no consequence, and any potential conflicts have been resolved or those mods temporarily disabled while playing Nuka Ride. There is nothing inherently unstable about having a large number of mods installed in FO4, and to be honest I'm quite surprised to see someone still feeling that way in 2025. I regularly play with hundreds of mods in FO4, and I play with thousands of mods in Skyrim. No problems.

Hi JB  I had an almost perfect play through doing the Norita route I have to say this is the best adult mod (DLC) I have played it gives meaning and context to  the great sex animations out there ,the world you're building is interesting ,humorous and well written and had me actually caring about my little Candy and her adventure thank you very much, I used mod car racing games (3d modelling )so I can really appreciate your efforts

Just a couple of questions..

Spoiler

In the plaza apartment the bedroom door is locked with an expert lock and I have nothing invested in locksmith I usually use willpower but this is not an option with this lock(I have bobby pins)I looked around for a key but ran out of patience and consoled it, is there a key? don't tell me where please just a yes or no .

second question is my sister no longer has an option to recruit as a companion which is a shame as I would like to show her around the Commonwealth while I level up and get a little stronger during her vacation

And a suggestion

Spoiler

Would be a nice touch if Norita and Isabella go back to post war Sanctuary and get some closure maybe have a few words and a cry, maybe Preston and the gang are there and tell you the story of a vault dweller that got eaten by a death claw trying to save them 😄

Also a topic to show our player characters off would be nice I love seeing all the different takes on beauty

Thanks again

May the journey never end

You cannot compare FO4 with Skyrim. It is so much easier to mod skyrim than it is FO4. There are so many mods in skyrim that fixes things in FO4 not so much

No, please, I'd love it when other users step up to help. I can't fix everything, and the time it takes for a normal user to debug can be a long time.

If I had to interrupt my work to answer questions like, "You forgot to install the bodyslide files" or "That mod isn't convenient because it does this," we'd still be on Nuka Ride 4 or something.

Agreed in general, and there are indeed helpful, well meaning people...but with that specific niche context of a height mod it'll probably attract the "Lol, check out this idiot who added a mod not on the list and is now complaining" crowd. I speak from experience, despite not actually complaining. On a more positive note, looking forward to trying this new version, and I feel like an idiot for not checking the Compact Mirror long enough to realise it was a really effective overlay remover (seriously, your code for the CM, fixed, and purchasable fluid kits is far more corruption-resistant than WotC an MWoW!)🤦‍♂️

FYI -- when I say that I am NOT mocking people.

As I recall, you were actually helpful, and it's not bad advice! If I had the HDD space I would make one, but my bugs are about as expected for a Bethesda game so I'm sanguine with my list...and I'm not bugging JB about it, which is far more important!

A large chunk of my load order is vanilla bug fixes or visual mods. For AAF mods I don't have anything outside of the requirements. I can do most troubleshooting on my own, and the core of my modlist has been the same for years now so any issue I start having is easy to pinpoint as whatever new mod I've added. The one exception to this was having no mods editing Diamond City yet having a bug where Keyshawn didn't spawn there.

Pretty sure most people can say the same, but you never know with FO4. Good luck getting that height mod sweet-spot 🤞

It's a matter of supportability and stability.  I doubt Commonwealth Cuts is the cause of your crashes, the crash logs are precise but often misleading.  PRP is a known cited cause of crashing, and this mod includes it's own previs & precombines.

I'm more of a practical person, the basic logic is I am playing a non-combat adult quest mod that uses and prefers a curated list of clothing mods to push a concept/vision of the author.  And considering how easy it is in 2025 to create a separate profile with the suggested loadout I am not sure why people wouldn't start there rather than choose to debug crash logs for hours on end.  Since I won't do it for myself, I certainly won't do it for others.  And I rarely recall the common list of issues that I have seen come up here, I just know I have never had and issues with the mod and most of the issues are conflicts with other mods that people don't know how to resolve.  Without intimate knowledge of the mods a person has installed and what it's modifying, it's pretty much impossible to offer anything other than use the recommended loadout and start from there, for the rest of it your on your own.

This was far easier than I thought it would be. I installed the FOV Slider and Player Height mod, set it to 0.89, and was eye-level with male NPCs while wearing heels. I forgot that AAF does actor scaling in scenes so that never became a problem. Or if it didn't change the actor scale then I didn't notice in the two scenes I tested. Overall I'd say it's a success.

Well I am through the fight with Ryder and things are working great so far.   I have ONLY the armor mods needed for this mod and the Harlowe armor works, which in the past it did not.   I am guessing one of the normal armor mods I use was effecting it (mostly Vtaw armors which are not enabled right now and a Replacer pack (Lazman) which I think was probably the culprit).   The only thing that I saw that was odd was Clint had no voice during the whole thing, which is something that never happened before.   I am using voice 1.5 and I did see another one was uploaded today so this might have already been fixed.   Unlike 900 mod guy, I stripped it down to basic stability fixes and patches, body mods and required/suggested mods and it works flawlessly.   Can't wait to get to the newer content later in the week.

edit: this is the load order I went with - if anyone sees anything I should remove let me know!  Bashed patch is NOT active and will not be used in this profile (just not able to remove it with out uninstalling it from game data folder)

I know it's a pretty common knowledge thing that Fallout 4 users never read installation instructions, but it would be handy to have a step-by-step guide for installing NR that you can direct people to. I could write one up if you send the load order you have. Basically the install guide would start with The Midnight Ride, then to The Fucking Manual, then finally on to the mods and load order for Nuka Ride, installing and building bodyslide files, MCM settings, and so on.

Man, if you want to do it, I'll build you a statue xD

I have a few (very few) cosmetic mods that aren't in my recommendations.

I don't have Nuka World Patch installed because I work on the basis of my mod first. And it's a mod that everyone would have to decide for themselves whether or not it suits them, because there are significant FPS drops.

I don't have UAP either. Savage Cabbage + Leito Fix is more than enough for me. But my case is not the same for others.

The unofficial patch is no longer available for the old gen, so I changed my recommendation to “Brawl Bug Fix.” But since I still have the unofficial patch, I don't need Brawl Bug Fix.

I have some more mod recommendations for anyone interested.

As I mentioned before, FOV Slider and Player Height set to around 0.89 is good for making the player character the same height as NPCs while wearing heels.

Outfit Switcher: Allows you to save certain outfits and use a tool in the Aid tab to switch between them. No more digging through inventories to find specific items, and less going back to re-equip items after AAF scenes. Only downside to the mod is that you can't name the outfits, so you'll have to keep a note of which ones are which. The mod has an optional plugin for setting outfit hotkeys.

X-SENSUOUS: This one is a lot more personal preference. This is the best 2K Face, 4K body texture combination I've found. There's barely any neck seam. Do not use with CoTaP as it causes a far more noticeable neck seam.

A-Body is also the best male body replacer I can find. It did cause some issues with Adolf's body in my Norita playthrough though, but it's fixable.

I'm still trying to find a good ENB that doesn't cause overly dark shadows on characters in interiors. Right now I'm using Next-Gen Lighting but I was using REACTOR, I switched from it since it was causing too much of a performance hit.

I second that, you can download TMR from Github, it's using docusaurus and it's pretty easy with VS Code to build one out.  I just lack the motivation, and then when you get into old-gen, next-gen, and next-gen w/ downgrade, GOG, you really have to contemplate if your going to cater to everyone.  I have a stub of something I played with but it was a from scratch guide.  If your going to do it, I would suggest next-gen w/ downgrade (similar to what TMR recommends), it's going to give people the best compatibility but some people are just not going to understand the fact they have to download old versions of certain mods and new versions of certain mods, and then TMR includes things that JB often cites as a problem.  This is the point where I kind of gave up.

I also contemplated running this whole thread through AI to try and summarize it, but ugh that's a lot of posts and then there is going to be a lot of crap that just isn't relevant.  You probably just need a brain dump from JB.

UFO4P 2.1.5 should be compatible with old-gen and that's still on Nexus.  I finally switched over to next-gen w/ simple fo4 downgrade and that is a great experience.  And through some junction hackery w/ MO2 & Root Builder I can run a profile with NG engine or OG engine.

First draft of the basic mods and load order for left and right panels in MO2 attached.

It's been a while so I've forgotten where half my mods were downloaded from or a lot of the specific tweaks supposed to be made. But this should be a start for asking people if they have all the mods and loaded in this order.

Hehehe, I disabled the “open locked doors” perk in Sex Attributes myself to encourage a little investigation in that place. The key is there, that's for sure.

A quests in Sanctuary sounds great, but you have to consider that many have probably already built on Sanctuary, which means that complex quests (with packages) are going to have a lot of problems.

Found a... bug? Glitch? Norita route, on Maid of Steel (or whatever the quest is called, right after dealing with Ryder and going back to the apartment). Was doing the chores, the doorbell rang, I went to the door.  My character started to say "It's open" or something, then I must have hit "E" by accident and I went through the door. The person who was supposed to spawn never spawned, and I can't get my character to move at all, EPC isn't working. Any suggestions? My last save is before the Ryder fight, which is a decent amount of time before this, almost an hour I think.

EDIT: Fixed with a setstage command. Scared the crap outta me lol. Reminder to save before switching cells!

Well, I see a lot there that are far from basic xD I thought that the basics would be just enough to make the mod work to its full potential. The rest (lighting, illuminated billboards, fixes for the Salem museum, Bikinis, Ivy...) would fall into another, more  personal category.

I'm not sure about A-Body. All my outfits for men are based on BodyTalk. 🤔

I don't use Lighthouse or Garden btw.

🤣🤣

I can block the door so it doesn't happen again next time. My suggestion: Go back inside, facing the stairs. Look at the door.

SetStage _NR_Chores 230

And activate autosaves. For having a million plugins activated, I thought you were someone more cautious. 😝

I wonder if that A-body thing does not have bodygen and we all know bodygen on males just causes issues remember a while back when people complained about a fat looking mason messing up things. I am 95% sure that is the cause of his issue with the males looking like they are in fat suits.

Oh I somehow uploaded my main profile's load order instead of the new one I made to work on this.

Here's the correct one.

Lighthouse were just in the modlist since I was initially going back and taking the mods from TMR.

GoE is a recommended mod for Scripted Facial Tints.

This is exactly the issue. But I don't know how to generate bodygen.

I would also like to keep NR less impactful on the Commonwealth.    FO4 is a good game by itself and I like some of the story lines (helping out Nick and Cait, for example).  I think everyone will agree that NW fell flat and didn't "tie in" correctly with your actions in the commonwealth.    Right now my head cannon has to do some "flips", like my Nora is a lawyer who used to work for the.......ahem.......Agriculture Dept.  specially apple imports ( see spoiler for reference).  Bottom line, playing NR molds her into a better champion of the commonwealth and NW.

Spoiler

I have no clue as to how to work in the Norita route right now.

So I got a bug that prevents me from continuing, I am on the Norita route right after getting the alliance in diamond city, now I have to speak with Elder Maxson in the yard of the apartment, but he only tells me to sit down before speaking with him. No matter where I sit it doesn't progress the dialaog

You remove the bodygen esp. We had the same issue a while back. The problem is I don't know if A-body have it build into the main esp. Another thing is it is now baked into your saves so chances are you will have to restart when you removed it
