AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

I've recently gotten a bit back into playing F4 and modding it, but haven't really played it much since before the NG update was announced and kept my Steam from updating the game but I've really been wanting to play through Nuka Ride again since I also haven't done that since before the Norita route was introduced. Does anyone know if I should bother getting the NG update at this point for a NR playthrough or just a LL modlist in general? Or is the pre-NG version still the most viable?

Im looking for a little help with the Bodyslide files. When I build the Nuka Ride outfits, with zeroed sliders and morphs checked, the body morphs are not applied.  For instance when I have the Mason Heels and the Mason Outfit on, the body looks as it does when the outfits are made with zeroed sliders. If I take the Mason Heels off, then the morphs return to the Fusion Girl body, but clip through the Mason Outfit. If I just apply the Mason Heels on a nude body, the nude body appears as a zeroed slider body.  I must be missing something simple, because all the other non-Nuka Ride outfits are working as intended.  I played the Nuka Ride mod over a year ago and the outfits were working as intended. I'm not sure what I am doing  wrong with this latest version. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The outfits don't have body mesh—and that's fine.

The body mesh is part of the heels—and that's fine.
If the outfits don't "fit" without heels, it's a sign that you're using a different preset in BodySlide for your body than for the Nuka Ride outfits.

do not upgrade, stay on 163 as a ton of mods needed were never upgraded.   This is the easy route, now if you want to make life difficult but still possible then upgrade to NG and spend hours to make things work.

basic question but did you build the body after you made adjustments before batch building the outfits?   just to check go back into bodyslide, make your adjustments - preview the body to make sure it looks right - build the body - then batch build the outfits.   If using MO2 save the meshes (from the overwrite) into a mod - bodyslide files or whatever, activate it and leave it at the the bottom of you mod page.

Plaza = a public square, marketplace or similar open space in a built up area or a shopping center.

another definition would be an urban park or square, or another public space where people can walk, sit and congregate.

There are people who already updated it and played it without problems, you just have to make sure that all those F4SE dependent mods are updated. But since some of those f4se mods were not updated yet, I'm sticking with the previous version.

 

Besides, what they did with this new version is unforgivable. It forced a lot of users to create facegen patches to not play with stuttering.

Yeah, it's more because when I started listening to the dialogues it seemed strange to me how they interchanged such different words. “What are we going to do in the square”, 'Let's go to the plaza”. They are words with very different roots and that's where my doubt came from.

 

Ironic because surely in perspective that is the least of it. I'm sure I wrote a lot of weird verb conjunctions that I find myself unable to catch.

 

In South America, especially in the Southern Cone, we have a strange habit of telling things from the past, but conjugating them in the present tense. Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay.  This is definitely annoying when it comes to writing. I solved it with a lot of reading and practice, because it's ingrained, but sometimes it slips out. And the poor translator doesn't work miracles for you.

I'm no etymologist, but as an American (pejorative) I think most of us don't really consider roots or proper phrasing/usage of words when speaking plainly to each other, especially depending on the specific area you live in and its local slang and ways of speaking. America is BIG, so you can go just one or two states away and they will speak noticeably different than where you come from to the point they can often guess where you are from as well, whether it's an entirely new accent, or words/phrases, or both. As someone from the Midwest, an example would be that people in Wisconsin say "bubbler" to describe a water fountain you drink from, people from Minnesota, often say "pop" instead of "soda" and people from the south will often just say "coke" for any soda. So to me someone using both words in the same conversation sounds fine. I myself will often interchange words like this on accident and will basically say whatever version comes to my brain first in that moment, so plaza/square being swapped is reasonable enough to not cause any issue from me and I'm sure I've done it with those words before already lol.

The first versions were made with google translator until a kind soul told me ENOUGH and recommended me DeepL.

 

I can be very mean and release this in Spanish, and let the rest of you figure it out on your own 😈 The German author of “Thief” does something similar in Skyrim, or Zaira with “Maria Eden”. But my good side gets the best of me. 😝

I got CK and am learning how making mods even works for this past week, because I was super considering translating this and CS into Portuguese for my best friend (and opening it for the first time made me have a lot more respect for those of you who make these by the way) and my butt would probably be dumb and have used translator the whole time for it because I only know maybe 5 words in Portuguese XD I've never even heard of DeepL until now 🖤

 

Now part of me wants a Spanish translation version of this too lol I imagine half the English speaking fans would be like "what the fuck are they saying?" angrily choosing options, and the other half "I don't know what you just said but yes Daddy" 😂

to translate/fix better use this one. It is a much simpler and less invasive tool. Just keep in mind that the work is titanic. I know the Chinese use an automatic translation tool and then manually correct what they can.

I worked through a number of iterations of this mod over the last few years.  Big fan.  At this point I can't imagine actually playing Nuka World the way it was created in my game.  I've come across a weird problem this time around that I've never seen before.  In Andrew station, I had a Nuka blindfold that didn't get removed after the rescue, and wouldn't allow me to un-equip it after.  I got around that by putting a devious devices blindfold on before the Andrew station events.  Then on the next quest Made in Heaven I had the choking collar also fail to un-equip, and I couldn't remove it either.  I looked at the quest stages, and couldn't really tell what stage would be the problem. I have the mod at the bottom of my plugins, and everything was moving along fine up to this point.  Do you have any commands that would allow me to unequip these items?  I've tried running both quest through a few times, and keep getting the same issue.  What is weird, I've used this same set of mods for another play through, without this problem. 

 

Also, the new Norita story is brilliant.  When I ended up in old Sanctuary, it blew me away.  So wild seeing that all restored.  Keep on truckin', you mod is one of the best I've seen in years of play.  Peace.

Dogma is one of those ethnically-Russian Ukrainians, so Thief is originally written in Russian and then gets put through Google to produce a sort of semi-nonsense pidgin gobbledygook.  It's something that we're working on.

Thanks! The only thing I can think of is script lag, when the OB talks to you for the first time after killing those raiders, he kicks the script that removes your blindfold and removes your "ghost" status (you are a ghost for a few moments so that the shooting around you doesn't kill you).

 

He kick this stage:

 

SetStage _NukaRide_Lucy 4

 

You can write it but only if you're still in that quest.

 

Or you can write this anytime: 

 

Player.unequipAll

 

 

The collar you mentioned had a bug that dragged on through a couple of updates, but was fixed in subsequent versions. The console command above will also be useful. (Save and reload will make the sound go away.)

I have an issue in the Apollo's quest (Norita route). I have to recruit Sophie, but only the normal dialog options appeared. No quest-related options.

"SQS _NukaRide_Apollo" says: 2, 7, 8, 10, 11 are done, the others are not set.

I can solve this with "setstage _NukaRide_Apollo 12".

It is the option on the right.

 

Edit: You should try XDI, 100% secure and contains no scripts. You will see that the interface lets you know where there are dialogs that still have more options.

If you follow 

they only support NG in their recommendations and and aaf support. I am using guide in my playthrough and am having like 90% success in everything I have tried so far. I do deviate from using fg because cbbe is where I'm comfortable but everything is working pretty well so far

Side note I find their tech "support" kinda terse/rude so I do my very best not to chat with any of the main players over at aaf

Maybe post a picture of the clipping.  It could be a bad conversion, or just using the wrong BodySlide files for your body type, or you have the wrong install order.  The outfit mods on page #1 most of them may be CBBE in the base mod and you have to download the FG bodyslide files and overwrite CBBE (so priority needs to be right in your mod manager).

what I mean is like body presets and stuff, like Josie's body was one that was really popular a while ago if I remember correctly, it's nothing major really just curious

Okay, so you don't care about clipping.  I use Fusion-Athletic, zero clipping issues.

I mean the clipping is a bit annoying but I can deal with it if it's nothing major, I'll check out fusion athletic then!
