Wow woodelf's problem has been a fun read I've never seen a community pull this hard to help 👌

I wonder what's in their root Fallout folder and data folder,going on their lack of knowledge there might be something loose in the data directory (loose texture file in data/texture will override ba2 if not a identical in a MO2  }or in the main with the exe's that shouldn't be there,I did it myself a few times early on before I discovered MO2 and created enough problems to have to reinstall Fallout

There have been 2 so far.  The first is in the apartment right after Isabella tells me to go back and see Dwayne.   She was naked.

The second in the Golden Globes studio shooting the bondage scene.  

With AAF 1.7.2.2 running my PC is invisible for most the scenes after that.

At this point, the best thing to do is uninstall all the mods and delete Fallout, then redownload it. But I don't have the heart to tell him that. Imagine if it crashes again. 🤣

Not a big thing but if you want to go with a conceal option maybe switch the knife we are given from the rather huge disciple one to a switch blade as i think Noritta would have to get pretty imaginative to conceal a blade thats as long as her fore arm from Gage

Wipe the hard drive, buy a new GPU, reinstall Windows.

 

Which by the way folks, if you buy a new computer the first thing you should do is (maybe activate Windows?), download the Windows ISO, burn it to a USB stick, wipe the drive, and install Windows.  The literal trash some of these manufacturers include is unbelievable.

Is this Nuka Ride story mod intentionally doing this?  If so... I humbly request and beg the author to please don't do this. 

I have essential things in that stash, like back up weapons which I could use to blow the wife's head off, take her slave collar control, free myself and my doppelganger, so that Gauge can take us home.   

About the enslavement part... being enslaved with an explosive collar and threatened with my character's life is a complete U-Turn from the entire story so far, which is built upon consent.  Norita has consented to everything so far, she has a choice.  Even the Overboss asks for Norita's consent before punishing her.   Experiencing something like NC content ala: Commonwealth Slaver in this story is upsetting, shocking and jarring, much like the shock collar Norita finds herself trapped in.  This is not consent.  This is enslavement.  The wife even says so.   This is not okay.  I don't say this from a standpoint of prudishness, rather mindset. 

I've played CS expansion, and it's very dark and requires a completely different mindset to enjoy, plus Nora killed them all in the end for their evil, so... unless we have the option to eliminate this rich old mob boss and his wife at the end this is not going to be enjoyable for me within the context of the greater story, sorry.  😞
 

Why would you use SKK as a storage bin? It is for building a settlement literally anywhere you want (though suggested only as a way to scrap the shit outta areas). Good that you get so involved, I would suggest getting the Cheat Menu if what you want is a "sneaky" way to bring in a weapon (with that you can smuggle a Nuka Grenade and blow everyone up). The part with the exploding collar is not enslavement it is Blackmail as it is temporary not permanent. (Even the Wife lie's and says it is just a precaution). It pretty much suggests that in the conversations and story. He is a dirty old man who naively believes his "trophy" wife is loyal to him and not his money in a world like Fallout what greater gift than to place an exploding collar on his living toys to ensure they understand that what is happening is gonna happen regardless.

 

Woody why are you traveling from the Farm to the Marsh past the Mansion? I am surprised the super crickets don't kill you before you crash?

Why bring a weapon when it's not what JB intended for this quest the point of this mod (I think IMO) is there's other ways to get results other than blast your way out ,it's a dialogue sex mod where most adversaries can be handled with the knife Monique gives you early on,I think it's clever how JB gives you the correct "tools" as you progress through the mod

and i have a save in NR latest that i crawled on spam save until i get to the point in reaching marcus at the truck stop, by that point i can NR7 np without using prp i finish it 1 time tho still my route is different from majority that Norita is not a OverBitch and "you cant tame fire" route as dallas said. all is well my friends tyvm

Not everyone has a ton of money to spend especially if it's just one mod playing up for you

I've built my own PC's since the '90's (just built a new one for my LLM) and use a stripped down win 10 for gaming the bloat ware is becoming obscene on OEM PC's

Does this happen when you start a scene while in first person or player not in camera ? LLFP has a function that forces the game to render the PC for this exact reason (never had any problem with it on older versions) 🤔

Yes it's sarcasm.  But the point is perhaps drastic measures are what is required.  I tend to believe every problem is solvable but that requires a certain amount of skill and knowledge.  Trust me, rather than digging for hours into how the hell Windows works and what's buried in a registry, or an INI file or some other weird place it's sometimes easier to just wipe the shit clean.

 

I wish Linux was more viable as a gaming desktop and you didn't have to use wine/proton and all of that, but people are slowly fucking that up too (dconf/gsettings and so on).  The worst is Debian, who can't seem to manage the NIH impulse, good grief dpkg/apt/apt-get/aptitude, and none of them have feature parity with the other.

I'm using Ubuntu with a few repos for my llm server ,the more you make anything easy for the masses the more complex things get behind the curtain, cars are a great example
