edit: Found... It is necessary to kill overboss on the vanilla quest and then it will be possible to launch the monorail.

I really love this mod all of the quests and animations work but the one thing that I can not figure out is way there is no voice, I mean their lips are moving but no voice. The Voice files are there in the Nuka Ride.esp folder under Fallout 4/ Data/ Sound/ Voice/ Nuka Ride.esp , I cant figure out why the npc's are silent.

The game does not have voiced lines. JB mentioned he tried using the GPT3 voice generator for a few hours before giving up.

The voice files you're seeing appear to be empty fuz files. My guess is that these are used instead of relying on F4z Ro Doh.

I wonder if I am not getting some permissions because my mod is from Loverslab. The funny thing is that they are authors who clearly work with sexualized content, so I don't understand that fear of relating to "sexual content". Anyway.

 

It also reminds me of those users who upload pic of their characters but refuse to share their preset. Are you going to marry her, mate?

 

I give thanks for those who selflessly upload their mods / resources and provide permissions. That's what the community should be about.

I have just installed the mod, i wonder if something is wrong? Got to nukaworld but the only thing i could do there was to be driven back to diamond city, no conversations think i tried to speak to everyone there. Photo gallery was empty.

When you got driven back to the commonwealth did you have to make a deal with the robot to do so?  If you did, then the mod is probably fine.  You should get a pointer quest when you talk to Charon again.

 

Also, if you choose the I want to go home option, you get taken back to Sanctuary.

Are you referring to F4z Ro Doh? If so IMO it already grants the rights for any mod to rely on it. The license does say you should ask for permission to redistribute or modify it. But it dictates no restriction on usage. Asking for permission to use it is extremely courteous. But if you don't hear back I think you are in the clear. Just opinion.

Try the only thing you can do: go back to Diamond City. Leads to some interesting dialogue including the option to shoot your first scene. If you shoot it the story can progress next time you return to Nuka. The description page for this mod includes tips for overcoming common obstacles like this. If you hit another roadblock its worth reading.

I doubt it was in reference to that, since it's essentially useless for anyone not using an alternative dialogue interface as it tends to eat subtitles for all the player's lines in mod-added dialogue and that bug has never been addressed.

I did not know. Although I had wondered why I never needed to install this mod.

Looking through the mod authors posts it looks like he spent a year trying to reproduce before giving up. I do not see his suspicions ever landing on an alternative dialogue interface. I wonder if he has one installed and never tested without it. I have left an alternate installed ever since they came out.

I completed a playthrough of the most recent version of Nuka Ride starting from a fresh game.  Everything worked as it is meant to work.  I think it is best to play Nuka Ride before starting any vanilla game quests.  Then when Nuka Ride is completed return to Charon and proceed with the game. 

 

Unfortunately, there are a couple of deal breakers for me in the the latest version.  One deal breaker existed with the previous version but I did not come across it until much later in the game.

 

Nuka Ride disables the Mackenzie Bridgeman quest to kill all raiders in Nuka World.  I always do that quest.  It creates the only happy area in the game.  If I don't get that quest then Nuka Ride has no purpose for me. 

 

Another deal breaker is that the latest version gives the pornstar a ridiculous red baboon bum.  A woman going around with a baboon bum is erotic?  That's not my kind of aesthetic.

 

Sorry.  But I'm done with Nuka Ride unless the next version fixes the deal breakers.

Im sorry to say they wont be fixed.

1.- Nuka Ride is meant to REPLACE the vanilla Nuka Ride (World!!!) Quest.
2.- If your character remain with the red butt after meeting a certain guy in DC, is because something is keeping the mod to go back to normal, you can use slm 14 to remove the beated ass color or try another option in the story.

Well, a few days ago I was looking at the Nuka Care Cream script (which removes the marks) because I included new overlays for that cream, and I realized that I forgot to include that red butt overlay.

 

The bad thing is that when you include new overlays, the cream only removes those new overlays in a new game. Looksmenu stuff, I guess.

 

I have finished the tattoo service. Music will give you up to 15 different sets of tattoos, and will probably include more in the future. The largest set is the SnowBunny Set, with 43 tattoos, which puts them on you in a second.

 

Hopefully by the first days of March I will publish version 4.0.

Great news, something nice to take my mind of the crappy real world.

 

Just wondering if there will be some new outfits in the update and if the nifs will still be able to be replaced, as I like making my own outfit mashups

Yeah, but in this update there will only be three outfits and they will have a bodyslide like the others so you can customize it.

 

In order not to create an aesthetic conflict with the bimbo collar, all the chokers and collars are now separate items, so you can take it off or combine it with another. In the pic above you can see the simplest choker, it is just a black band. I think there are 12 chokers now.

Fantastic, 3 more outfits is more than I was expecting so I'm happy ^^

I got to the Studio and got to the point where I'm sent upstairs to have the first scene (housewife roleplay)

This weird interface pops up on my screen:

 

Play Staged Sequence (greyed out) > Play Stage 1
 

and below it:

 

[POSITION THREE: (left arrow) Go Back - (up arrow/down arrow) Change Option - (right arrow) Select]

 

I am stuck in the animation and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do where or what mod is this interface part of.

Tried the arrow keys and various random buttons, did not notice any effect.

EDIT: Reloaded the save, still same issue. Animation progresses through stage but won't end after climax. The quest objective progresses to "Collect your payment"

The interface in the screenshot appears during the scene but I am in free camera mode and cannot influence it.

UPDATE for anyone else experiencing the same issue: pressed Home to bring up the AAF interface and managed to force end the scene through it.

Do you know how to use FO4Edit? That problem happens when you use unique body textures. I've already fixed it for the new version, but haven't uploaded it to Loverslab yet. If you want to correct it yourself, here is a guide.

 

Open Nuka Ride with FO4Edit.

In ARMOR ADDON, look for "_NR_PinkWhore" and "_NR_BunnyHeels".

Remove everything that is Female Skin Texture.

Hi JB,

 

I ran into this issue tonight when i was put into Pink Whore outfit.  I'm on the latest version of everything, and I saw that the current Nuka Ride plugin no longer has the SkinBodyFemale for those 2 armor addon records but the issue persists.  I opened all plugins in xEdit and saw that Nuka Ride High Heels Sound Patch still has this SkinBodyFemale in the Armor Addon for 1 outfit _AA_NR_PinkWhore.  The other outfit doesn't have this.  I was able to remove it from there and it's fine now.
