AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

Ok I have hit the first snag. With 4.0 AAF refuses to load past 68% brand new game. Will do more testing.

 

EDIT: Tried to run the game without nuka first. AAF loaded fully. Installed nuka. CDT :(

AAF load correct to Gamaramdi. Send me your buffout log and I'll see it tomorrow.

 

Wait... can you put this in DATA/AAF?

Check that you have these animations.

Yep have those animation packs just going to test and see if its not UAF patch maby. 

Copied that file over didn't do anything

 

Edit 3: Ok found it do not install animationsaddonsandfixes9.9 It is the cause seems it will need a patch to be compatible with nukaride. UAP tested now works fine :)

I dont have aaf patches, keep that in mind.

I had the same 68% problem. Different cause. I installed Sabbage Cabbage without the Gorilla animations. Reinstalled with those animations and it worked.

I found this was the source of the issue by reinstalling AAF and selecting the Debug Menu option. This showed me the AAF log. It was filled with warnings about missing SC-Gorilla animations.

My guess is more people will face similar issues. If you do you might start by installing the AAF Debug Menu. I spent 20 mins taking stabbing in the dark without it.

I have a lot of issues. Reinstalled everything. WIthout UAP it runs fine with it the animations don't play. My problem is the patches. Animations are installed correctly. I will now have to manually install all those things to see if I can get it going properly

FYI I am using UAP with success.

I am going to start a list of issues and keep updating it.

 

  1. The CWSS patch puts the shower in the wrong place. It's not in the bathroom. A little bit of digging and I found it buried in a wall in Golden Globes. Now there are 2 showers there! Very close to each other.
  2. During the scene with Maxon and the Overboss:

    1. During the second scene with the Overboss on the couch something strange happened with AAF. Instead of going into freefly cam during the scene I had control of the player. I could walk around and watch my doppleganger who was on the couch doing the scene. I retried this scene many times to see if it was just AAF script overload. For me it was 100% consistent for this scene.

    2. After the first AAF scene with Maxon my torso slot does not reequip. Possibly related to the handcuffs that are equipped. I do not know if this might inform the above behavior.

  3. Small feature idea. When Music asks you for backstory could the Vault Dweller option have 2 branches. A) You are mother to Shaun. B) You were a Vault Dweller but no mention of family. The popular alternate start mod defaults to you waking up in the Vault next to a dead couple. Shaun is not your baby. If you select the Vault Dweller/no family dialogue option the rest of the quest could proceed as though you selected Wastelander. Also I loved this quest and its two branches.

  4. With Boris questions:
    1. Spoiler

      If I got all answers right it just goes back to the first question. If that is on purpose it might be confusing. I saw you mention that the player "won't survive" if that happens. For me nothing happens. Perhaps a scene should immediately play that kills the player?

       

    2. Spoiler

      In my opinion there could be an option to continue other than your momma jokes. The comical dialogue is great. But for it to be necessary feels out of character to the rest of the mod. Perhaps an alternate path?

       

  5. Boris would sometimes continue whipping me during the scene with Baldwyn. He would open up the door walk through and start whipping. This happened 3 out of 4 times.

  6. When Kells sends me to Mason to Pay Respects I keep the popup. It says "You haven't paid Mason a visit since...". I got the popup a few times in a row. I believe its each time I loaded a new cell.

  7. Quest stage 280 of _NukaRide_Jungle does not have an objective market. It does say Report back to Charlotte though. Not hard to figure it out.

I have it in two different profiles. One without patches and one with the UAP patch and it works fine. Now, it's true about the gorilla. It is for Cito's mission, but its use is entirely optional in the story. Thanks. I'll put it on the fomod as a warning and also on the front page.

Alright. Fixed the jewels textures, I have updated the bodyslide to 4.0.1

 

 

@kaxat I have opened with the creation kit and I only see one shower in the studio. I tried it ingame and it looks good too.

Thanx for the texture fix. I get a few animation errors even without UAP. I can for the life of me not understand why it works for you and not for me. As for the shower and CWSS that is fine. Probably a misplaced esp somewhere in his case.

The only one that could cause problems is Savage Cabbage as when you install you can forget to check a box for animations that I need.

 

Try to reinstall Savage Cabbage and activate all the animation boxes (protectrons, mister handy, gorilla, etc).

 

 

I'm going to include those animations in my Nuka Ride files tonight anyway. That means anyone who doesn't have those Savage Cabbage animations installed will still be able to access them and avoid the 68% problem.

I have installed everything again including UAP seems to work now all of the sudden. One more snag gonna retest it first. When you invite all 3 Vips to your room. I get infinite loading when instructed to get on the cross.

 

Edit: seemed to be just a fluke. Second try worked. Quick question I assume the club is still empty right ? Because the lift is not working. Don't know if that is intended for now

 

Edit: I get "aaf 44 errors" Animation packs are there keeps telling me to get closer to objects. It happens with the stripper pole and the pool table. Why I have no idea.

It's still empty and there's nothing to do, but honestly I'm thinking of redoing the nuka club from scratch.

Ah Ok then its all good for the club. Quick question I get AAF44 errors. What I can gather is that is supposedly a missing animation pack. But I have everything installed. Which animation pack handles the pole dancing and the pool table ? Is there a console command to get past the dance bit for now in the dugout in so I can complete the quest at least and continue. At the moment the scene doesn't end the pole is there and does not go away.

It looks like you have the animation (Savage Cabbage) but you are "far" from a flagpole. Maybe you have a mod that modifies the bar? Show me if you can your AAF admin screen.

Write the command that I wrote above to advance the quest, but first save the game before doing the dance. I'm going to look at the script later and I'd like you to test it later with that save.

Yes they are installed and yep I have a save ready just before the dance. So we can test later.

 

Edit: Ok I have removed devious devices. That could have been the cause because I got the dancing to work after removing that. But I also reinstalled SC animations and my UAP patch. So I can't be sure. It does seem however that the scene stay stuck. After the animation.

 

Another problem after going back to nukaworld after finishing the posters. I cannot talk to anyone at the studio. Person busy messages the whole time.

Indeed there is a problem with the script and that is that once you start dancing, the stage never advances. I already corrected it and will upload it to MEGA, but you only need this file.

 

Thanks for the report! I confused this quest with the repeatable quest, and deleted a wrong line of script due to that confusion.

I'm going to upload it here and after testing it among several users I'll continue doing the missions. Because I still have one Quest to do, and the mule mission is only 60% right now.

 

Right now I'm just packing up, cleaning up, and doing some final testing.

 

What I am not going to package now are the fuz files. These are the files that allow you and NPCs to move their lips when speaking. I'll put them uncompressed. I will package that in the final version that I will upload to Loverslab.

Probably your mod organizers take a while to install just because of those loose files, but as I said my idea is to have it all packed into the final version, fomod and all.

I'm starting new game as well, been working on some mods lately and was ready to restart anyway, so now I get to test right out of the Vault.

 

One question, FPE or FPE Redux?  Or does it matter?

redux latest version. 3.84. Also make sure to grab the script JB made available that fixes one of the quests and grab the latest bodyslides to fix the missing textures on the jewelry

Don't take my word for it but at first glance it doesn't matter. I only use condoms. If both mods share the same condom ID (which is most likely) then use either.

Ok after testing the script the animation for the poster quest worked and the scene completed. But when going back to nuka world. I get this "individual is busy" on both charlotte and corsican

 

Edit : And they say violence doesn't solve anything. I punched corsican in the face and got out of combat now I can talk to them again.

I know what happens. I've got a couple of new scenes of them talking a couple of random things, but you can't interrupt them until they're done talking. Aren't they talking about anything right now? I'm going to remove the "uninterruptible" option and upload the patch here if it turns out to be a bug.
