Zaz Animation Pack V7.0 [2017-05-16]

yep I ran that several times now, it never said there were any errors

Maybe a stupid question, but are you sure you're typing correct command?

If you added other mods your load order has changed, and you know first two digits in console command are ZAZ position in your load order.

yes I am, I'm playing animations, or "player.playidle ZazAPCXXX" (X's being the numbers for each animation) and it just stands in the anatomical position, same happens when I get hit by spider spit and get cocooned in Ms. Leeches' Arachnophobia mod which uses these anims and such

'When you play Skyrim with a mod, in most cases, the new data for the mod will be written into any new saved games you create. For example, if you play Skyrim with Mod X and create a save, the next time you load that save, the game will expect Mod X to also be loaded. If you no longer want to play Skyrim with Mod X, it is best to unload Mod X (by unchecking the plugin under Data Files in your Skyrim launcher) and loading a save that does not require Mod X, usually an older save or a backed up save.'

So far, the only way I've been able to keep an NPC permenantly in an idle position is to use the SitTarget function in the CK, and target an idle marker.  Are there world objects with idle markers that come with this mod, and if so, how do I find them in the CK?  If not, does anyone have a technique for keeping npc's in position after loading a save?  NPC's that I position using the "playidle" command revert to standing after I load a save.

If the save you are using was before you installed the mod then there's either files left behind when you uninstalled it or your crashes aren't actually related to this mod.

If it's files left behind it means that they have possibly overwritten files from a different mod and when you uninstalled it your mod manager didn't replace the files correctly so a different mod is missing the files and causing the ctd.

tried un-installing and re-installing a few mods to get rid of my problem of the animations not playing (plays the anatomical position instead, with the arms stretched out, and legs spread), but I'm having no luck yet

Sounds like you haven't installed and run fnis correctly

Are you using a mod manager to install Zaz? This could be the problem, because sometimes those managers don't install all the helper files FNIS needs to run correctly. If you're not getting any errors, the problem may still be that somehow your animation files are not updated correctly.

Check Data\Meshes\actors\character\animations\ZazAnimationPack and see if the file FNIS_ZaZAnimationPack_List.txt is there? Are there a bunch of .hkx files in that directory?

There should be an option in NMM to include "extra files". In WryeBash it's kind of nicely hidden (but iirc it's also default), so Wrye should not give you problems.

Ofc, this assumes you're using a mod manager, if not, then you can just ignore what I wrote ....

Yes, can you post the output from FNIS when you run it?

Sounds like most still have problems without manual installing due the mod manager tools... Highly likely missing file... Also if you do have the animations and such and FNIS list has failed (there is no mention of the ZAP animations in your FNIS generator) or if you actually have no custom skeleton it just fails to work

I had this mod pack working perfectly since the first version came out, it stopped working after I installed a new mod, forget which one that was, Sex Addict I think, and since that was installed, or whichever one it was, all the Zazanims are anatomical positions now for some reason. that's my problem. don't know why people keep saying I haven't run FNIS, when I said I did in the first posts about this issue. but again, I do run FNIS each time I install mods, the problem here as that a new mod broke the Zazanims for some reason, as they worked perfectly (except for the hogtie ones, those always played the anatomical position for me) before this

also no, I manually installed this anim pack

Characters in the T-Pose say we have the mod expecting the animation but one of the links between the mod and the animation is broken.  FNIS is what connects those links

However, running the FNIS User Generator isn't enough.  You have to make sure there are no errors detected by taking the appropriate corrective actions.  That's why you were asked once for the output from your FNIS User generator run,  we suspect you are missing an error.

I suspect his FNIS didn't even process ZAP LOL ... Just cause of the usage of NMM for most

the only error that came up in FNIS was for Sexis, something about a foreplay file, but that error was showing up while the ZazAnimPack was still working well (with the exception of the hogtie anims as I said), no new errors now, and Sexis still works like it did before even with that error if you're wondering. also I rarely use NMM, but maybe it's not processing the AnimPack for some reason now

If you have an error then FNIS did not update the files with the animations.  Fix the error and you should be back in business.

Just gonna answer above without quoting as seriously to many text popping up...

Just curiously doing this but...

Have you tried to unpack entire ZAP pack. Then rebooted Fnis and run it and then tried to hit play ???

I'm just trying to say it like this cause you should have everything loaded so do not touch data files... Just try that and see if it works...

To me it sounds like the poses do not get processed...

Also... Just reinstall your Skeleton... Some mods have additional skeleton changes that do not really love working together ... so just reinstall your first skeleton (the one you were SURELY using) and try again

not sure how a Sexis mod error would affect an animation pack's anims, but ty for the suggestions. and yeah JinZen, going to look into it again since it only stopped working AFTER I installed the SexAddict mod I think it was, mods like that and sanguine's debauchery never played the sex animations for me anyway, my character just knelt bound and the captor stripped to their underwear and stood there while my character made sounds for a bit

Hello everyone, i was wondering if anyones using the latest Skyrim patch (Version 1.9.32.0.8), if so, is it fully compatible with ZAZ anim pack? Are there any known issues or incompatibilities? I'd appreciate any insight.

I use the latest version of Skyrim right now, and everything is working as I expect.

When toying around with Xaz's latest Prison Overhaul I've noticed something weird for my Argonian male character - none of the bondage items were showing on him when he was transported in and out of the jail. Not really sure what is the cause here since I'm using Better Males with XP32 skeleton.

I tried it for my male kitty and everything was showing properly, so I'm completely lost what may be causing this. I reinstalled Better Males few times, since I was wondering if the meshes were messed up, but that doesn't seem to fix anything. So I'm completely lost what's happening here...

I noticed this some time ago. It's probably time for a patch for this mod even if Zaz is busy with RL. There won't be any new animations or similar, but at least an update to fix bugs like this.
