Yes, I found the problem - in the Yes option there is the END of dialog, not in his answer. I didn't fix it, I think I'll wait for more bugs to update. The answer No should give quest progress.

They must be really close to each other. The condition check is if they are Inthesamecell and apparently there are many cells in the settlements.

There is a check - if the NPC is nearby then say this phrase with a sex script. For any other NPC, you need to add your own phrase and script with a property of this NPC.

He has the AI package - if the quest to capture the Castle is at a certain stage, then go to the center of the Castle and start his dialogue.

most likely no. Most if not all quest mods will still have scripts baked into you save, and may cause problems if removed on an existing game.

The mod is not particularly heavy on scripts. The problem can be if the player's parameters are changed, through drinks or mod perks. So it's worth deleting the mod out the mod cells, without effects of the mod drinks mod and not in the middle of a difficult quest. I uninstalled Sim Settlements 2 and everything seems to be working.

So I see the mod has quest IDs and it seems everyone else sees the quests fine, but nothing I do seems to get the quests to show up in the quest long. I've even tried finding the quest IDs and manually starting them/stopping them to no avail. This was after Dickson kept telling me to do both the press quest and the job but going to piper didn't give me any dialogue. The last quest log that showed up was getting a drink with Basil. I've also talked to Johnny about the maid quest but doesn't seem to activate the quest. For the record, I also tried doing the Hypnotoad thing in the bank and it goes nowhere as well, he just does the little hypno dialogue but nothing after the initial 5 or so sentences 

 

Is this normal or did I do something wrong here?

 

edit: for clarity: after I did the initial POS jail scene and since then nothing in the mod has been working. Kinda sad and considering starting a new save dedicated to this mod if need be
