dosfox Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 (edited) Hey @Welzone, Thanks for providing that information. With such a big modlist it is not easy to find a culprit for your crash. However, there is one Buffout4 setting that is wrong, and is often responsible for CTDs with AAF-related mods. In the Buffout4 config.toml file you should change: [Compatibility] F4EE = false to F4EE = true Let us know how it goes ... Edited July 12, 2025 by dosfox syntax
TripTease Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 I'm trying to trouble shoot but I cannot get gang bangs to work at all. Keeps saying no FM+FM+FM+M animations and I have this and like 5 others. Spoiler

Or you need to allow females to do male animations (with strapons, I cant remember where the exact sertting for this is) so AAF isnt looking for a specific animation with that exact combo of actors. 1

dosfox Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 @Welzone All right, Autonomy is probably conflicting with one of the other AAF mods you have active. At this stage i would be inclined to install Autonomy V2.8, and see if it "just works". Version 2.8 is the most stable and compatible version of Autonomy available so far. If you get the same CTD problem it indicates you have a deeper problem with your AAF installation. Good luck!

I actually thought of this last night. Some setting I'm not allowing with females. I'll give it a shot and see. Thank you.
MrGrey Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 (edited) Not really seeing any changes due to this mod, other than lot of text on the left hand side of the screen about how some NPC is affected. Is it working or is that all it does? Maybe it doesn't work on the NG update 1.10.984? Edited July 13, 2025 by MrGrey

No thanks, I've been playing with these mods for 4 years, I already have a little understanding of how it works. I'm currently on version 1.7.1 and the autonomy is working, but I'm still checking, once it worked, it doesn't mean that everything is fine. The problem (in my previous post) was on my part, but it doesn't matter anymore. as for the messages at the top of the screen, the only thing I have a suspicion of is the Atomic Lust animation mod, there are lines of "dialogue?" in the plugin, so I'm looking for more clues.

Deckard_Blade Runner Posted July 28, 2025 Posted July 28, 2025 (edited) I report, after a bunch of attempts and testing. The mod works. No crashes, no bugs. Game version 161, mod version 2.8, AFF 1.71. Additionally RobCo Patcher 4.1.0. Thanks to testing, I found out that the parameter in the MSM menu (Participation in several scenes) must be enabled, otherwise it does not work at all. I have a new game, about 7-8 hours have already been played, I repeatedly returned to certain NPCs and the mod re-launched scenes. It's just that in other tests it was that the scene would play once, then the mod would forget that it should work at all. Now it works stably. The most important thing, as it seems to me, is that if you have problems, enable the display of mod operation messages. So you will at least know at what stage you have problems. As far as I can judge, the mod in a new location sends an invisible perk to new characters, with which it then works. It happens that the perk adds, and then nothing. But I have already indicated that the solution for me was to activate the parameter for several scenes. I hope it helped other users. If anything, write. P.s. I don't know if Google will translate my text correctly, but I hope I got the idea across. A short presentation, I hope I won't get scolded...... This might clarify the Autonomy v2.8 Perk system ... How to set up the NPC Blacklist/Whitelist for Autonomy 2.8 Spoiler The blacklist/whitelist system for Autonomy 2.8 is based on the "Autonomy Perk", an attribute given to NPCs to govern their sexual behaviour. There are two levels of blacklisting. You can blacklist individual NPCs or entire Factions of NPCs. To set up a blacklist the "Autonomous Perk Settings" in the MCM must be set to "No Sex". On the same page is the Hotkey setting to assign/remove the perk to any individual NPC under the cursor. Note that this Hotkey is a TOGGLE and can reverse the status of the perk on an NPC repeatedly - i.e. you can whitelist a blacklisted NPC or vice-versa, temporarily or permanently. Spoiler To blacklist entire Factions the Autonomy Perk is distributed by RobCo Patcher to selected Factions when the game loads. To blacklist a Faction set the relevant "...Autonomous Perk Chances" to 100%. i.e. that faction has 100% chance of NOT having sex. Spoiler Setting hostile Factions to NO SEX (100%) and allied Factions to HAVE SEX (0%) works best for my gameplay. Orgies in the middle of battles might be funny, but do cause all sorts of problems. I also often blacklist settlement NPCs like bartenders or guards just to keep a sense of order in settlements. Of course the ultimate "Blacklist" is the "Autonomy Enhanced Enabled" Hotkey which will stop or start ALL sex. Having Autonomy turned OFF while in interactive quest situations or in battle works best for ordinary gameplay. Spoiler Thanks for posting a video. Unfortunately i can't watch it, my YouTube account was cancelled several years ago when i was posting Autonomy OBS captures. Not cancelled because of sexual content, but because the music playing in the Third Rail violated somebody's copyright (!!) Fuck YouTube. Edited July 29, 2025 by dosfox 1
Senkan Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 Question. I'm trying to get the Concord museum crowd to be more involved in sex. I usually don't see them having sex. Is there a setting I can change to remedy this?

In order not to wait too long for testing, reduce the scanning time to 15 seconds. And see if the mod works at all.

I usually don't see them having sex. Is there a setting I can change to remedy this? The Concord mob are baked very deeply into the early quest stages of the game which disqualifies them from many Autonomy calls. Once you have Sanctuary built and the Concord mob assigned they will have as much Autonomous sex as the rest of the settlers. (Mama Murphy is a randy old goat!) Otherwise you could set the Autonomy Perk to "HAVE SEX" and only give the Perk to the Concord people with the hotkey. Then speed up Autonomy with these settings ... Hide contents You could also shorten the Sex Scene Duration setting for a further effect. This should give those NPCs the best chance of frequent Autonomous sex. EDIT: If you are using NAFbridge, in MCM you should set Scene Duration to the same setting you have in Autonomy2.8. Also setting "SKIP WALK" to ON will speed things up a bit.
