I had an idea about an additional feature for this mod.  With the player/NPC sex hot key you can turn a melee fight into a sex animation.  I use the hot key to start these animations but what if this mod worked with Combat Strip Lite to automatically trigger a sex animation when the player is stripped "Naked and Vulnerable" and an enabled enemy is within melee range.  The idea is that the enemy takes advantage of the player character when she loses her clothes.  It would just be a single animation unlike what would happen with AAF Violate.  I understand that the latest version has some issues.  I went back to the 2.8 version because the latest version permanently turned the player character into a silent protagonist that sometimes sounded like a settler after an autonomous sex animation.  Even the 2.8 version makes male raiders talk like regular female NPCs after a sex animation, but I can live with that.  The components are all there.  It is just a matter of setting up the logic.  Since the 2.8 version generally works, maybe make a 2.81 version that has just this one additional feature that can be enabled or disabled in the MCM.  Do it or don't do it, it's fine.  I'm just throwing ideas out there to make the game more interesting.

The author of this mod is no longer working. It is completely and utterly dead. A new knowledgeable person is needed to develop it.

I have this bug, the companions stop talking. The subtitles show what they are saying and the game is normal, but they are silent.

That is probably the gender alias bug where "female NPCs mouth unvoiced male dialogue". There is a temporary fix here.  When you notice this behaviour happening, run the console command, and it will stop until the the next time it happens. Use Configurable Hotkeys to bind the console command to a hotkey, that makes it easy.

When I type it the console returns Comand not found.

You are typing ClearQuestAliases AE_alias in console?

So the mod author got burned out and/or life got too busy, fair enough.  I hope someone comes along at some point that has the knowledge, motivation and time to add some new game features.  I have ideas and some concept of programming but lack the knowledge of game development and modding to implement them.  I have some of the modding tools but I am terrified that I will mess something up and will have no idea what I broke or how to fix it.  Maybe one day I will get over it and make something interesting.

  • How have you set up your blacklist/whitelist? Check out this post for description of Autonomy2.8 blacklist settings.
  • Do you use any other mods that generate sex scenes? Try pausing them while you are looking for Autonomy action.
  • The gender alias bug (male npc with female voice) will slow down autonomy action if too many npcs are affected. Check out this post for temporary fixes.
  • These are the settings i use to maximise Autonomy2.8 action in settlements and other well populated locations (2~8 concurrent scenes most of the time). Adjust the Autonomy Perk settings if you want to see action between raiders etc.

NAFbridge is fucking brilliant. But it won't make much difference if your existing AAF install is not working properly ...

thanks for the help. btw is there a way to make animations not restricted to male or female characters?

I guess the best way of doing that would be to set Gay Chances=33, Lesbian Chances=33, Heterosexual Chances=33 ...

If you turned off the "sex check",  AAF would not know how to apply relevant morphsets and equipment sets for animations. It would be possible to edit individual animationData and  positionData XMLs to allow any gender in any position for an animation, but it would be incredibly difficult  and time-consuming to achieve satisfying results. Changing the Autonomy homosex and heterosex settings automatically makes those adjustments to animations wherever it is possible, and ignores animations where it isn't.

okay. one last question. does aaf have an option to skip npcs walking to eachother before they start a scene?

In AAF_settings.ini there is a line:

walk_timeout = 30     ; After this number of seconds, consider the walking phase failed and skip to animation. -1 to disable.

Playing on Old - Gen

everything works. Perfect.

Came back to Fallout 4 after a year, and as a habit i updated all my mods to the newest versions, IE RobCo(4.2), AAF(1.1.2), autonomy(3.00)

Nothing. no autonomy.

then I reverted back to Robco (4.1), AAF (1.71b), and autonomy 2.800, and mid playthrough i see people having autonomy.

The only thing is: Supermutants having autonomy get stuck in the animations for 30 secs and get murdered by me and my followers.
Even if I murder one of the participants of the animation, the other participant just keeps on humping air. Kinda unimmersive.

Would be awesome if there is a combat state check, and if there is combat happening, end all autonomy in a wide radius.

My Working LO:
robco  4.1 (not the latest RobCo 4.20)

All other AAF mods (human resources, violate, SuperMutant Violate, Synth Violate, tats after rape, Dirty sex etc)

Autonomy Enhanced 2.800

SM_Fem_autonomy_SPID --> half female super mutant autonomy on loverslab.

AAF 1.71 (not 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 latest ones)

AAF themes

All animation packs

Ultimate AAF patch (latest patch)

I have another issue with this mod (but also with Magno Cum Gaudio, which also has it's own autonomy)

Whenever a NPC is having fun alone and I'm leaving the current cell, there's a good chance, that this npc will have all dialouge blocked after returning.

I mean, it happens quite a lot, that some NPC is pleasuring itself without my notice and I just move along my way.

But later on, I can no longer start any conversation with that NPC, no barter, no trade, no talk.

Happens with both mods.

Anybody had the same experience?

has any one got this working on the next gen update?

Kinda, yes. Not sure it will work for you though. I had to manually install it cus Vortex can't handle it, and yes, it has bugs. Most annoying is NPCs (even companions) losing their voice (temporary) or get someone elses (not so temporary), so you want to instantly blacklist every follower NPC you meet by hotkey. So yeah, kinda works. I did not test everything, because I broke it and just got it to work again, so if you want a safe game, do not install it in my opinion.

How I installed and tested it:

Spoiler

Used Vortex on latest v3.305beta to install it automatically
 - Do not use family option in installer (1st question) if using newest RobCo(aplha) and use SPID instead of RobCo (2nd question)
 - On older Robco it works just fine, pick anything you want in installer
Open the mod .zip archive (if you tried installing other versions)

- Copy the main files (.esp and ba2) manually to Fallout4/Data and replace the files if prompted (if you tried installing other versions)

Test it in a save where you did not have AE installed before and see if it works

- Set AE Scann Timer to 10 secs (page 1) for new scenes and Enable Debug Notification All (page2)
- Also look around in the settings and set all chances to 100 and see the notification log (it will get crowded). If you see stuff happenenning with chances, and get ANY scene eventually, (might take a few minutes) then it works. Just blacklist followers cus that option doesn't work for me in the settings.
Obviously read the main mod page first and see what needs doing (dependencies and such)
I hope it will work for you.

To further this, I can confirm that Autonomy Enhanced does work on Next Gen... to a point. It works with the default settings, but if you try to enable anything in regards to the player (Player-Companion Sex, Player Threesomes, etc.), the game will go to the black screen when trying to initiate sex with your character... and then hard crash. On a lesser note, it also doesn't seem to follow any setting in regards to duration. every scene seems to be really short regardless of how long you set it to be.

Ultimately, I would just say, keep this to Old Gen for now and then hopefully once Anniversary Edition comes out, see if this gets updated later down the line.

So I'm still not sure how to get the player automatically involved in scenes. Don't seem possible? Pressing the manual key through the crosshair I can only get MF scenes.

In MCM - General options (page 3) -> allow player /enable/. Then you can manage other settings
