Naked Defeat AE/SE

Hi, after the naked defeat scene I'm having a problem with enemies, they can't hit me with melee weapons, but arrows do damage. Papyrus log attached. Also, if I load a save, this effect disappears.

Public punishment, summoned humans and skewers.

1st round with humans passed ok, then message that no animations for skewers. But i have and they work with other mods.

Always when i had problems ND dont play animations at all, first time it work for one race and dont work for another

Just putting this up as a reference.

 

I could not get the Namyra SLATE check on the system page to show True and upon defeat ND claimed I had no suitable animations. I read almost all the posts from January and February covering this and I KNOW I was doing all the steps properly. It's not like I haven't used SLATE before either. Turns out that the 1.5.97 version of Papyrus Utils on Nexus is missing a function call that Naked Defeat depends on. I also can't believe it took me so long to SEE the error in the log.

 

Error: Static function GetMatchingString not found on object PapyrusUtil. Aborting call and returning None
 

I disabled that version, fell back to the one that comes with 1.63, the errors disappeared from my log, I got True for SLATE action log installed, and a test run in Embershard with default ND settings went well. I hope I haven't broken something else.

Can you tell what exactly to do. Install another version of PapyrusUtil? I also have 1.5.97 and problems woth SLATE.

Sexlab 1.63 comes with a copy of PapyrusUtils embedded in the download. I simply disabled the 3.9 version I got from Nexus. This allowed the game to see the version that came with SL. I followed these steps:

 

Disabled 3.9 from Nexus in MO2 (no comments about vortex, sorry if that matters)

Loaded game.

Cleared the action cache in Slate, exited MCM, watched a couple minutes of TV.

Saved, restarted.

Re-installed the Nymra and OsmelMC action logs from Naked Defeat in Slate, exited MCM, watched a few minutes of TV

Saved, restarted.

Re-applied the action logs, exited MCM, watched a few minutes of TV

Saved, restarted.

Enabled Naked Defeat, exited MCM, watched a few minutes of TV

Saved, restarted.

watched a few more minutes ;)

Checked Naked Defeat system page, and I saw True.

 

I almost certainly overdid the wait/save/restart cycles, but Nymra suggested waiting a couple minutes after each step in their replies. Also, just reloading the save might well have done the job but I wasn't in that big a hurry and I'm not totally certain about what the game flushes/doesn't flush on reloads.

 

Edit: This works with SL 1.63, and crococat confirms it works using the PapyrusUtil included with SexLab Utility Plus. And, he seems to have skipped all the save/restart stuff :)

Is it possible to disable specific scenarios for defeat outcomes?
In my specific example, the tilted wheel outcome, due to the animations for it being kinda low quality I have them all disabled, but then I got locked in one from ND and got error spammed because no anims for it
I tried looking around in the MCM and the Jsons, but I don't see anything specific for it, if it's not a feature, would it be a huge pain to add a way for us to disable things in the future?

Thanks, will try. But i have SexlabUtility overwriting Sexlab Paryrus, game mods see it as 3.9+

Anyway it is some way to solution

 

P.S. Seems it works, Slate is now TRUE without any reloading, just one minute after ND installed. With SLUtilitiesPlus PapyrusUtils file.

Hello friends! Am i the only who faced a problem when slave action key in local slavery scenario not working at all?

This bug was fixed by Nymra some time ago but it seems like it's back again, at least for me

Glad it helped. I've updated my post with your success with SLU+, and that your experience shows that the long process I used probably isn't necessary.

I had solved animation error (also for sexlab solutions) but now ND works strange, defeat and afterlife now not aborting but endless waiting.

Maybe it my game is bugged as i had tryed acheron and others while ND was not working.

Anyway decided to take breake with this mod, will try again at next start. Its animation count is so huge, my FNIS is angry.

I'm new to this mod also and defeat seems to be working well for me. I use acheron with ND's defeat chance set to 0%. Afterlife, no comments yet. To avoid potential conflicts with my insanely over modded system I've got most everything else in ND disabled for now. A lot of my Skyrim issues over the years have been one mod not knowing what another is trying to do, so I've learned to only bring in new systems once I'm sure the currently running systems work ok together.

This is an awesome mod! Having a description of what it does would have been nice, but to my understanding, it attempts a whole bunch of things, even slavery. I haven't gotten in to it far enough to test it out, but i believe it also attempts to do what SD+ does? Since i always used to build my mod lists around Defeat with SD+, what i saw thus far, kinda makes me wish the rest of the mod is good enough to make me build my new mod lists around it. Genially awesome work, i'm excited for the rest of the mod, and some of the planned features i've noticed in the future. Thanks!

The latest version (6.72) can't seem to detect that I have animations for certain creatures (Chickens and Flame Atronachs so far), I have many animations for these creatures enabled in SexLab, Naked Defeat just keeps throwing errors and I have already registered SLATE. Nothing happens.

I am having trouble getting Public Punishments exposure gains for various activities working in my game (for example running or dirtiness). I simply never gain any expose for this. Other exposure gains (like nakedness works, though)

 

Looked at the code, and I am pretty confident I know why:

WeAreInCity, which must be evaluated to true, depends on `Nym()` returning true. But Nym seems to be a Nymra-exclusive debug function:

Given that Nymra can't always work on this mod as he would like to (and apparently is currently busy otherwise), that might well be a long wait.

Not the most knowledgeable when it comes to modding so my list is a bit of a crash test experiment that's been going on for a while now. I seem to be having an issue with ND finding whippers. Specifically anything human. Draugr, skeletons, falmer, not a problem but if it's bandits ( I use Bandit War if that helps) or even say, guards, when it gets to the point of selecting a whipper, it always says there's no one there while I'm looking at a hoard of npcs around me. Not sure if anyone would know a possible cause. I didn't have a log fine with a scene in it on hand to reference though.

For some unknown reason I couldn't get the Funnybizness MMMMF Pillory animation to be selected among available animations in the rape scenario. I tried editing tags in SLATE until it had the same tags as the other animations that were selected by default, then used SL Tools to pick a new tag: MMMMF, but still no pillory animation.

I’ve read part of your reply. But I still don’t understand how to turn off ‘Skiping/auto disabling’.

There is nothing to fix, it's a warning, not an error. Skyrim SE can handle form 43 just fine. There are a few fringe cases, but non apply to this mod. If you want a more detailed explanation, check this: https://www.loverslab.com/blogs/entry/17086-form-4344-and-you/

From those screenshoot it does not appaear that your MO2 is auto disabling Form 43 mods (which would be highly unusual anyway, as keeping them active is the default in both Vortex and MO2).

Guide you on what? As I stated, judging from your screen shoot there is nothing wrong with how your MO2 handles ND, so nothing to fix. The mod is enabled, the plugin is enabled. From that side there is no problem. If it's not working you either misconfigured ND in the MCM or you've a competing Death Alternative mod or similar.
Nymra made his comment based on your papyrus log, apparently that suggests the Naked Defeat.esp is not active in your game, going by your screenshoots it clearly is. So the only explanation left is that something is impeding it's function.
First thing I would do is to completely remove and then reinstall ND and ALL it's dependecies. If it still not working after that, you pretty certainly have another mod interfering. To test that, create a new MO2instance or profile and strictly installing only ND and it's dependencies, if that works you need to find the mod causing problems. You could also try posting your full modlist, perhaps there is something obvious in it.

You appear to have Yamete installed which is also a defeat-style mod so perhaps there is a conflict between the two?

Good catch, didn't actually see it, but yes Yamete and NakedDefeat are definitely incompatible, as most Death Alternative mods are, use only one (one option around that would be Acheron with the NakedDefeat Bridge, not 100% sure that still works though. Nymra wanted to do redo it IIRC, but did not yet get around to it).

I think I confused myself so I'm just double-checking...

I'm using  3BA, so I'll want to grab ZAZ 8+ CBBE HDT 2023 from the link.  Then, going to the Naked Defeat download page, I want to scroll down to where it talks about "alternate 3BA downloads" and links 2 different comments.  I grab the cumulative 3 fixes/patches from those 2 comments, install them after ZAZ 8+, allowing them to overwrite it, and then batch build in bodyslide?
