This seemed to start out of no where, as I had not added anything and was well into an otherwise completely stable game. I loaded an Autosave from a Rest (which I should know better not to do). Since a Rest save opens before the rest, I immediately selected rest (I have Go to Bed installed). The game CTDd. When I reloaded, I immediately tried to rest again with the same result. Eventually, I figured out it wasn't resting, it was saving that was causing the CTD. My crash log pointed to SKSE, which led some other folks I asked to suggest disabling plugin dlls one by one until I identified the culprit. My process was to disable the mod with the dll, load and immediately try to save, which crashed the game every time. Then I noticed that if I waited a few minutes after the game loaded, I could save. I experimented with how long I had to wait and noticed that I only had to wait until I got the notification "Fast Travel Enabled" and about which NPCs were being tracked by this mod. I've been using your amazing mod for a very long time but never noticed this before, mainly because I don't usually save as soon as the game loads. I guess my question is, is it known that saving before ND completes its loading process will cause a crash?

I initially worked with "GetAnimationByName" from Sexlab but thats extremely clunky and has other issues Slate is just the best solution. 2 minutes ago, Lenore said: What exactly is a SLATE mod? Without Slate, the furniture animations (XCross, Stockade, Pillory etc.) would have only half the animations available. For example Anubs has not tagged his "Stockade" Animation (Anubs Fuckmachine) with the correct "Stockade" Tag.

I guess my question is, is it known that saving before ND completes its loading process will cause a crash? the only thing that I know that ND could "Possibly" make Skyrim crash is when I upload LE meshes accidently and you equip them in the game. THink that happened once years ago. I dont know of any other causes. So TLDR: no

I was using version 5 with the 5.1 patch. I see that you updated to 5.25 yesterday so I must have missed a few updates. I also note that you list BIS Renewed as a Semi - Hard requirement. I use regular BIS because BIS Renewed will only clean PAF dirt from PFA, which tends to cause freeze ups for me. Will 5.25 work with ordinary BIS? Edited April 13, 2025 by Dez65

Or will it make the mod stop working? Hi - I use Defeat and just disable Player Rapes, which is what is suggested in the description. "Sexlab Defeat - does the same thing (I m working on a compatibility bridge mod tho) recommended to disable "NPC rapes Player" in Sexlab Defeat. This should suffice. " Edited April 13, 2025 by Dez65

I never even had the idea of saving directly after loading. BiS is still registered and should still also work (detecting dirt and cleaning). Mods have different ESP names so NaDe can easily see which one is installed.

Yeah, it was only through the weird set of circumstances I described that I ran into the problem (which explains the too long post). I happened to see a post by someone else trying to troubleshoot a "CTD on save" problem who mentioned they could save if the waited a few minutes after loading (they were probably testing the same way I was), which led me to try that. I was so happy to see that it worked cuz I had been painstakingly doing a brute force conflicts check on an otherwise stable game. Installed 5.25 and the hotfix. Thanks Nymra for all of your incredible work on this amazing mod! 1

With always interesting voices ^^ Note that switching to MO2 alone might not automatically resolve the MCM issue. Edited April 13, 2025 by Nymra

(Or both of course.) Anyway glad you got it to work. Just keep in mind, if you add more mods, do it in small batches and check for problems. One of the main problems is that people add hundreds of mods at once and if things don't work as intended it becomes very hard to pinpoint the exact source.

Never heard that before. If it does not show ND, that means ND's MCM(quest) did not initialize, which explains why the MCM does not show.

Well, I did some back and forth with a couple mods on that, so ... still an oddly specific thingy to happen. Anyway likely nothing worth wasting more on your time on unless someone else reports a similar problem. Sorry for raising the alarm without more in-depth checking. 1
