Kinda doubt it but yeah it's worth a try. SLHH as Baka said has the same files so probably isn't causing the problem. Sometimes 2 mods without xEdit conflict can interact in wierd ways and cause problem as well. Clean install sucks, I'v been there lol which is why I use MO2 now, plus Vortex is just so much worse than NMM IMHO.

Well I tried that first option I suggested and no dice. I just wish I could figure out what mod it's clashing with so I could determine if deleting the other mod is a good move or not. I guess a clean install and installing this mod early is how I figure it out. Smdh

I suspect mods that do a onGameLoad check have a chance of breaking Babo, so welp... yeah, try just install a few at a time and load back in game and see how everything goes... would be cool if evetually we as a community can come up with a list of mods that can conflict with Babo. My sympathies with all the time spent on reinstalling... but hey we chose to mod Skyrim and went into sexlab. It's kinda expected.

Anyone who notice, for seducing merchants you need high level speechcraft, high beauty value in mcm and visit dibella temple in markarth in there you need to speak with priestress.

Did you finish the Potema quest?  If so, you'll meet the nobles out on the road randomly

Oh do I have to complete the entire quest? The pdf stated that I just needed to clear the cave and complete that.

I cant seem to find the hair pack needed for this to work after some googling i could only find dead links and its not on the nexus anymore either. Does anyone have a link?

If you do not want those hair and brows mods to occupy load list space, you only need the textures for the babodialgue female NPCs. You can leave the plug in ESP/ESM disabled.

WCSC posted the links in the post above.  If using SE, you can use Cathedral Assets Optimizer from nexus to convert the textures and meshes for SE.

Anyone else having problems with this mod? Whenever I have babodialogue and the SLHH expansion enabled in my game I can't get quests from some people like Amrens sword quest for example.

 

I can create a fresh new save without the mods enabled and I can pick up his quest no problem but if I make another new save with them enabled again the dialogue options to ask about retrieving the sword do not show up at all. And sometimes I have the "..." dialogue when initially talking to him the first time.

 

Any ideas?

I think the content this mod offers is top notch (Though the English could be improved so that it's more immersive), but I think it's technically shaky, it's extremely hard to get this thing running perfectly, and the tagging of equipment is such an odd concept when it could have been managed via the mod's MCM.

I currently have some of the mod working, but I can't trigger any events, and even attempts at seducing mercenaries/shopkeeps do nothing after the animation plays out, forced greeting works just fine and at this point I cba bugfixing it so that it fully works, I quite like this author's mods but it's a shame this one in particular isn't working so well.

Just checked in my game... The test result is wierd.

So I first time I was using ASLAL and start in breezehome, and the bug does appear, I cannot ask for the sword quest, also tried a couple more tests but the only one I noticed that can bug out so far is the Shahvee's quest which uses the same quest set up as Armens (favor204). Other radient dungeon/cave delving quest doesn't seem to have the problem.

 

Then I tried to open new games with only Dialogue or SLHH, but they both don't trigger this bug. Then I have them in both again, expecting their inbuilt compatibility function breaks the quest, which doesn't happen neither.

 

I got confused so I used the SAME SAVE as the Breezehome one, and started at Riften Honeyside, then fast traveled to Whiterun, and still cannot trigger the bug.

 

The ONLY way I can reliably trigger this bug is by selecting Breezehome start from ASLAL.

 

The "..." dialogue does seems to appear with Dialogue installed (doesn't show up when only SLHH is installed) but that's kinda minor and maybe (big maybe) intended.

I've done a couple different ASLAL starts. I did as a patron in bannered mare, as a hunter in the wilds and both instances I was not able to pick up the quest.

There are like 34 dialogue line just for Amren in BaboDialogue.  If it gets combined (total count of all dialogue lines for all) with lines from other mods, maybe it triggers the infamous Skyrim dialogue lines update latency issue.   Dialogue with conditions will not appear.  Skyrim has to go through all the dialogue and filter for NPC and the dialogue lines during a talk action trigger may start without the filtering completing.  If you have a dialogue patch, the "more dialogue" option will show and if used will refresh the available options.  Let us know if it helps.

 

Also, do you get triggered scenes? Like Amren/Saffir, Amren/Braith, or others talking in public with each other? That use Papyrus scripts started by invisible trigger boxes. If there are issues with papyrus they will also fail to execute.  Babodialgoue is heavy on Skyrim internal filtering system, if there is latency it will fail to trigger scenes or trigger late. Lot of conditions combining keywords and other attributes like NPC names references combined with chance options.

 

This post is about the same issue and no babodialogue in load list (old post), but it was a mod issue.   Nexusmods post

 

Do you have the Skyrim dialogue patch or similar? 

 

SkyrimSE: Only one. Not both, there are others, but these two are the more used in guides. Similar patches in nexus Skyrim LE too.

Hello guys, I have a problem with this script I'm unable to get it work with the mod "Approach redux" (Other mods integration -> BaboDialogue toggle is always unchecked and can't check it) someone know how I can make it compatible pls ? Even with SLHH it's the same problem (Got all reqs and they work fine) 

PS: I have no BaboDialogue in the MCM menu idk if it's normal or not

Check your save with Resaver.   If your character is in an interior cell with no other NPC and the Active script count is over 10, then you may have script spam or script deadlock/hang issues.  If it is a dungeon, it may be normal because of traps(script triggers), better do it is a home interior or test cell with no other npc.  

If the init script do not complete,  it will not show MCM menu and some normal Skyrim events/actions will not execute on time or ever.

 

 

Personal experience and not necessarily your issue.

I experienced a script deadlock in SkyrimSE with Sexlab1.63 and SLSO 1.7.x during new game init in LAL dungeon with mara statue. Sexlab will hang, and every mod trying to register sexlab assets like events and effects will also hang (DD was the worst).  In active scripts it will show the scripts for init for the affected mods but if a new save is created and reloaded, more scripts will be spawn int the list with the originals still in it and never completing, many shows "suspend" tag.

The workaround for that specific issue with my load list was to disable the SLSO.esp and re-enabled after all other mods get init and setup,

Probably that issues is fixed with newer versions.  It happened months ago.  You may have a different issue that it's also affecting scripts.

 

Try to purge the ESP for babodialogue using Resaver.  It will remove mod entries in the save and reload a fresh copy the next game load.

Review new save after reload and also try it in the other affected mods.

 

There is also a Skyrim bug that triggers script spam with mods that register for 0 keyboard code.  It happens with scripts that try to force keystroke on the primary player to similar automation or some effect with extra animations. Mods like sexlab pheromone and sl survival compulsive feature(can be disabled) will trigger this issue.  Maybe other bugs.

[Help] So the priestesses of Dibella at Markarth taught me "the art of Seduction" but I can't tempt anyone.

I also tried "Magic Cursor Key" from MCM on merchants but there's no response.

I'm using the downgrader patch for Best of both worlds and don't have Immersive Encounters, but I guess that's one more mod that doesn't work with this one.

My search skills (here and ddg) came up empty, apologies in advance.  This is for LE version, though I think (?) both versions use the same support thread.

 

Do we know if this conflicts with MME? I had used BD for a couple years with no issues, installed MME on a lark when BD was v4.22 and it seemed to work as intended. After v4.31 and v4.401, however, the Whiterun Orc Event resets every 24 hours, regardless of MCM settings. Tried uninstalling, cleaning/clean save, reinstalling, starting new gamefile, still getting the issue. I'm curious if MME contains the onGameLoad attribute that Kirie mentioned above might break BD. If so, it would be good to know that I can only use one or the other as of v4.31.

 

Else, unless there's a patch, or downgrading BD to v4.22, I'm out of ideas.

I actually have both mods, assuming you are saying Immersive World Encounter? That’s the only one I can find with Immersive Encounter. Anyway… they both have their events triggered quite a few times now. Did you make a bash patch? Smash patch might have fixed the potential conflict for me but I am not sure at all.

I tried refreshing the dialogues a couple of times, and starting the quest for the sword is never mentioned.

 

I am using Better Dialogue Controls only.

All the regularly scripted events are occuring where NPCs talk to each other, also events for other mods are occuring normally.
