The EFF has 'effcore.esm and 'effdialogue.esp'. 

 

'effdialgue.esp' need to be near the end of the load's order to minimize conflict with mods that try to take control of the Skyrim's follower quest that all standard mercenaries NPC use during hiring dialogues.   If you create bash/smash conflict resolution esp (and you should) it need to be before and near that at the end of the load.

 

 I think, bash maker WryeBash manager will merge it into the bash file, but do not remember (have not used it in a long time).

 

If you use Skyrim SE instead of LE, you can also set it with an 'ESL' flag in the header using SSEEDIT, and it will not count to the main load index.  You can't do that in LE.

No,  the index num for EFFdialgue has to be higher than baboInteractive.   146 or higher for your current mod load. 

 

The higher num load last, and override other mods conflicting entries.  Bash patches try to minimize the conflict with a merging of some records.

 

I recommend that you use WryeBash(not as a mod manager) or equivalent to create a Bash conflict resolution patch that will automatically set itself at the end of the list. 

It will create the file 'Bashed Patch, 0.esp' that will contain record's merges of conflicting mod entries.  Like merchant inventory entries from different mod overriding each other, with the bash it will be merged together, and the merchant will have the items to sell, also apply to chest and NPCs. It does more than that. Use 'Ctrl+Z' to undo WryeBash load order, it sometime re-aplies old order list.

 

Also, Get Loot, as it will sometimes give you hints about your mod combination. You can also use it to re-order, it uses a 'master' catalog and some esp analysis.  It get it right 90% of the time, unless the mod has something special like a very custom script that use special mods.

Loot will not place 'EFFdialgue' at the end, you have to move it after using Loot.

i have installed baka slal animations, babo dialogue and all other required mods. i set event chance to 100 for drinks in morthal inns, and nothing happen when i go there. also i set 100% chance for orc warn (whiterun event) and also nothing happen in whiterun. i tried current save game, new game and also nothing. dialogues works fine, i see new dialogue options and npc conversations, but seems like actions doesn't work fine for me. anyone had same issue? or have idea whats wrong? thanks in advance

So i've got this issue where the mod text, that is the subtitles for NPC comments only display for like half a second making it impossible to read. Anyone have a fix?

Go into the game settings and turn subtitles "off" exit the menu back to the game for a few seconds, and then go back and turn them "on".  This will likely correct the problem.

Seems this was entirely my own fault, I installed the wrong version of Silent Voice. For anyone scrolling by, the version of Silent Voice for 1.5.97 is V1.7.

Do you have to complete the quest multiple times to get the dishonored titles ? Because after the Nightgate Inn event I lost but I didn't get the title . Thanks !

um hello, i dont know why but the event doesnt work at all
i tried to enter and re enter nighgate inn but theres no event
i even make the event percentage to 100% but it still didnt work

im using nemesis btw is that why it doenst work? i mean the animation works (unless creature animation), and i forget to download sg hair and brow (im pretty sure this is optional)

btw i want ur modlist too, where can i see it?

I could be wrong, but it looks like reference issues with ZAZ.  Are you using "ZAZ Animation Pack 8 Plus (2018)"? Because the others glitch or CTD, ZAZ 7, ZAZ 8(2017).  Check if it has form 43 instead of Form44 in the plugin header. 

 

It is easy to miss and download the wrong one because t.ara creates new entries in downloads instead of updating the originals.  Also, the website search feature is a joke, better use duckduck or google.

Is there a workaround of the Zaz Animation Pack 8 Plus ?

I mix use between nemesis and FNIS, nemesis for SkySa.

The issue i am facing is nemesis can't update it when the Zaz Pack is check. Said there is some UNTF-8 issue or sort.

I tried disable it when updating nemesis, the only thing i have issue with is there seems to be issue with Zaz animation only.

 

Oh wait, i think i forgot to update the zaz in the game.

I do not use Nemesis, but the people that do and has DD and ZAZ run FNIS first and Nemesis last, but in stages disabling one before running the other.

  • What I did was run FNIS and direct the output to a mod (separate folder for files output, setup in FNIS.ini), while Nemesis was disabled. Then I disabled FNIS(disable the mod but use the OUTPUT in a separate folder, deploy change) and enabled Nemesis and ran it (also to separate output folder). I then ensured Nemesis Output overwrites FNIS Output, (In Mod manager deployment order).

The bold is added by me based on what I understand the commenter was trying to tell.

 

I'm trying to maintain my mod list simple. Do not want another Nemesis in my life.  ?

Running FNIS, I got somewhere to 10,900 animations. I was getting fed up with the lag of tk dodge and wanted to switch to TUDM. What I did was run FNIS and direct the output to a mod - FNIS Output, while Nemesis was disabled. Then I disabled FNIS and enabled Nemesis and ran it. I then ensured Nemesis Output overwrites FNIS Output

Also if you're using SSE Engine fixes with anim crash limit fix, did you disable the animation entry(forgot exactly what it was) in the toml file?

Hey guys I just want to check if anyone has any suggestions about this mod's stability because I really like it and doesn't want to disable it...

 

For starter I am playing on PC SSE with Aroused eXtended SE (unoffical port), SLHH and Approach.

 

First big problem:
MCM not showing up. It differs on every game reopen: if it loads correctly then the save created will always have the MCM available, but if it doesn't, then the save will never have it. A game instance without the MCM set up correctly cannot open a save that has a MCM, it would CTD. If the game instance have the MCM set up correctly (if you coc riverwood at the main menu using console BaboDialogue would load), then it can open a save with MCM without problem. Gameplay seems to be fine as well except the next problem.

 

Second big problem:

Lowlife (ChangeLocationEvent06) doesn't do anything after force greet. It supposes to call either Rape, Choke or Runaway but none of them work, Lowlife just stood there and does nothing, and will soon start a new force greet. I haven't encountered other Events yet but I am dobious they will work, I will give it the benefit of doubt and start a clean save and tests again.

Any suggestions could be helpful. As you can see I already have Dialogue at the last of the load order, I also went through xEdit but there really aren't that many conflicts with Baka's mod.

I find the problem after trial and error: It's PSQ.

 

Anyone having both of the mods pls remove PSQ and then try a new save again. I will see if I can find a way to fix this but no garantuees at all.

The large animation packs I'm using are

Zaz 8+

DD 5

Billy SLAL (C+H)

Anub SLAL (C+H+F)

BakaFactory SLAL (C+H)

Sir Nibbles (C+H)

Running FNIS, I got somewhere to 10,900 animations. I was getting fed up with the lag of tk dodge and wanted to switch to TUDM. What I did was run FNIS and direct the output to a mod - FNIS Output, while Nemesis was disabled. Then I disabled FNIS and enabled Nemesis and ran it. I then ensured Nemesis Output overwrites FNIS Output

Also if you're using SSE Engine fixes with anim crash limit fix, did you disable the animation entry(forgot exactly what it was) in the toml file?

 

 

That is what i did. And i recall is my mistake for not update the Zaz animation in MCM.

From my faded memory, the zaz animation is now working.

 

Babo Dialog remind me of some long time ago mod. I don't recall the name, but it is like a story with choose you can made, affecting later.

First big problem:
MCM not showing up. It differs on every game reopen: if it loads correctly then the save created will always have the MCM available, but if it doesn't, then the save will never have it. A game instance without the MCM set up correctly cannot open a save that has a MCM, it would CTD. If the game instance have the MCM set up correctly (if you coc riverwood at the main menu using console BaboDialogue would load), then it can open a save with MCM without problem. Gameplay seems to be fine as well except the next problem.

 

Second big problem:

Lowlife (ChangeLocationEvent06) doesn't do anything after force greet. It supposes to call either Rape, Choke or Runaway but none of them work, Lowlife just stood there and does nothing, and will soon start a new force greet. I haven't encountered other Events yet but I am dobious they will work, I will give it the benefit of doubt and start a clean save and tests again.

Any suggestions could be helpful. As you can see I already have Dialogue at the last of the load order, I also went through xEdit but there really aren't that many conflicts with Baka's mod.

It will create the file "smashed patch.esp" that goes at the end of the list always, but you need to add the flag "ESL" to the header using SEEEdit to make sure the other "ESL flagged" plugins do not overwrite it (the ones with FE ### in the index).

A: Smash resolves conflicts so you won't be missing content due to the rule of one - it does not reduce the number of active plugins in your load
order.  Merge Plugins combines plugin files following the rule of one, reducing the number of active plugins in your load order so you can work around the 255 plugin limit.

Q: How should I use Smash and Merge Plugins together?
A: Creating a smashed patch for just the plugins you're merging prior to merging (and including the patch in the merge) can make your merges "better", assuming the resulting smashed patch has any records in it.  Your full load order smashed patch must be regenerated whenever your load order changes, so you will want to get your merging out of the way prior to generating it.

Q: Why does my Smashed Patch have so few records in it?  It has fewer records than the Bashed Patch!
A: Smash removes Identical to Previous Override (ITPO) records after a patch has been generated.  ITPOs don't actually do anything - they're just cruft.  You can see what ITPOs Smash removed at the end of the patch log.  Wrye Bash does not remove ITPOs from the Bashed patch, so it may have more records than the Smashed Patch in certain situations.

Q: Why does smash remove ITPOs?
A: Because they don't do anything.  Removing them means users don't have to review as many records in the Smashed Patch.  There is an setting that can be enabled to preserve ITPOs.

In ZAZ MCM Sexlab section un-select the Animation override function, it gets in the way of other mods requesting animation from sexlab. That section scan the animation list to confirm setup and has a delay relative to the size of the animation list, you may need to wait awhile for the section to open.

DD also has a similar function called "preserved bound" or something like that, disable only if you are having issue with wrong animation triggering when PC/NPC has some assets from DD.

I hate to be obnoxious but I can't get the mod to work fully. I know I have donwloaded every mod that is required (or at least stated on the main page bar SG Hair). But I can not get anything to happen either in the world or any events to trigger. I can get the guards to give advice, or an innkeeper to say "besides the war nothing much" when asking about gossip. But that is all I can get to happen, I use the add item menu mod to give myself the outfit features and on a previous version of the mod that worked. But now it seems like it just won't work. So unless I missed something can someone tell me if there are mods I need that are not listed on the main page and where to find them?

A: Smash has an issue currently where the Biped Body Template element on Armor Addon (ARMA) records sometimes doesn't copy correctly.  Open your Smashed Patch in xEdit and expand the Armor Addon group.  Drag the Biped Body Template element from the previous override into the smashed patch override for each Armor Addon record in the Smashed Patch where it is missing.

Q: How can I remove my smashed patch?
A: Just delete the smashed patch ESP.  Save games should not be negatively effected in most situations.

Q: How does this compare to the bashed patch?

A: Smash resolves conflicts so you won't be missing content due to the rule of one - it does not reduce the number of active plugins in your load
order.  Merge Plugins combines plugin files following the rule of one, reducing the number of active plugins in your load order so you can work around the 255 plugin limit.

Q: How should I use Smash and Merge Plugins together?
A: Creating a smashed patch for just the plugins you're merging prior to merging (and including the patch in the merge) can make your merges "better", assuming the resulting smashed patch has any records in it.  Your full load order smashed patch must be regenerated whenever your load order changes, so you will want to get your merging out of the way prior to generating it.

Q: Why does my Smashed Patch have so few records in it?  It has fewer records than the Bashed Patch!
A: Smash removes Identical to Previous Override (ITPO) records after a patch has been generated.  ITPOs don't actually do anything - they're just cruft.  You can see what ITPOs Smash removed at the end of the patch log.  Wrye Bash does not remove ITPOs from the Bashed patch, so it may have more records than the Smashed Patch in certain situations.

Q: Why does smash remove ITPOs?
A: Because they don't do anything.  Removing them means users don't have to review as many records in the Smashed Patch.  There is an setting that can be enabled to preserve ITPOs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

***Note: (personal experience and not a recommendation). A while back I experienced issues with stability that went way after removing some mod and have not re-tried them since:

  • Wet and Cold
  • Footprint
  • dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp and blood size patch
  • DW

Well I was using Wrye Bash before but somehow it removed some mods’ feature which shouldn’t be modified by anything else… for example “better stealing reward” supposedly changes coins every coin bag gives, and in xEdit I didn’t see anything else modify that, but Wrye Bash just decides to overwrite it…I will try the Smash patch though, maybe it’s better.
 

As for everything else you mentioned, yeah probably because there are just so many scripts constantly firing from them do they… I should definitely keep an eye on them when I actually start a save. Damn I want to play Skyrim for real lol.


Unfortunately I think PSQ and BaboDialogue have some kind of script conflict… (I am not sure at all because I am very new at this) so I doubt anything but a handmade patch fixes that.

Pretty sure everything on the main page is all you need… Safado recommended an Arousal eXtended SE a while ago but that just makes adding keywords easier. Does your MCM show up?

Yeah my MCM is there. But I get no comments on my clothes or anything, no events either in the world or Whiterun. I can ask for advice from Guards and Innkeepers have the gossip option. But it's always just one response from them and nothing else happens. It's perplexing that I can't get this to work even though I've used the additemmenu to make it work with no edits in SSEEdit. (Tech breaks more often than not with me so I don't want to jinx it further with that)

I am running Babo on about 100+ mods and it worked… ok maybe not work work but well at least it has comments based on my cloth.

 

If you have MO2, try just create a new profile and just run BaboDialogue by itself (with all its requirements of course), if Babo itself works (which it should since I test that already, but I guess result can be different in some unforeseen reasons) then it’s probably one of your mods conflicting with it in an unknown way.

Wrybash probably merged some patch into the BASH and unloaded the already merged patch from the list.  The merged plugins show with + next to it. (if I recall). That probably why it only shows in the bash and not other plugin in xEdit. 

 

I have not used WryeBash in a long time because it (use to) mishandles ESP flagged plugins and enforce LE limitation to the SE plugin load list.  That why I use unofficial conversion of MatorSmash.

Currently, my mod list weight is 250 + 420ESL.  ESL are personal patches mostly. 

 

Bashing/Smashing automatic creation is not perfect and need tuning for special situations.  You can use the bash codes to prioritize certain metadata attributes from specific plugins, or create a manual patch with the changes you want and move it after the bash/smash file. I use the latter because the bash code way is confusing for some situations.

 

Check this video: it is old, and the version is missing the quick button, but is a good start.  When matorsmash start it will use your current mod list, do not change it unless you want something specific.

Also:

I have experienced initialization deadlock with the mod SexLab Separate Orgasm (SLSO) version 1.7x plugin enabled.  Basically, mods that have Sexlab as a master will deadlock because sexlab initialization stalled.  If the SLSO.esp is disabled during new game initialization, the issue will not happen.  Enabling after everything is setup and not issues, related to that.  Have not tested new game init with SLSO 1.7.4 or newer.  Currently, using 1.7.4, but as an upgrade to 1.7.3.  The issue it likely because of my collection of mods and settings.

I use Vortex with about 227 mods. Would uninstalling the mod, starting up my save, saving, and reinstalling the mod possibly work? Also noticed the first instance of dialogue flies by in a nanosecond for some reason. The only file it conflicted with was SLLH but I did what was suggested. Wondering if I should make a clean install.

This part was actually what I saw as well (with PSQ), like I said in my last quote whenever a game instance with a failed MCM setup would CTD when opening a save with MCM set up correctly. This exact line was in there. If it doesn't CTD because of MCM problem then it wouldn't show.

 

Try restart the game a couple times to test, and every time in the main menu just coc to riverwood (or you can start a new game it's the same thing), observe if Babo Dialogue says: "Innitiating Babo dialogue" and then "Current version xxxx". If this part doesn't show it probably has the same problem as me.

 

Then watch if BaboDialogue MCM show up, and then try to load into your save. If Babo Dialogue MCM showed up you should be able to load, if it didn't show up then you will ctd.

At least it works that way in my case.

 

If that's the case, eliminate every single mod you have other then Babo... actually no, that wouldn't work with Vortex right...? Welp.

 

Oh wait I thought you 2 were the same guy lol... Anyway still take my advice (if you want) to test XD?
