Daycrist Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Went from 1.30 to 1.57 and although it loaded and Sexlab appeared in my MCM, the spells fizzle. I went in and selected several things, i noted that when i went to look at animations lists, there did not appear to be any. The titles were there, for aggressive, etc, but no list of animations. Went back to 1.30 everything worked fine. It says I need a new SKSE but when I went to the download page I have the latest 1_06_16.7. I wonder if i missed a step or two in turning things on? There's a SL 1.57?? Anyone know why strapons aren't unequipping with SL 1.52?

Which means I have to recompile all scripts that make use of it... all 800 of them in SD+ (not really 800 but there are many)... Edit: I found a reference to victim in Dangerous Night. I recompiled it locally but that will probably prevent that mod from running with SexLab 1.52. until it is fixed in the code. @ashal - I noticed an issue with registered events for my Hormones mod. The first time my PC has sex after the game is loaded, the event is caught properly and I can see what kind of sex it was. Any sex scene after that first time, the event is not caught anymore. It feels as if the event needs to be re-registered after being caught once.

Sorry to probably make you recompile them all a second time, (a simple .bat script could compile them all for you) but I'll probably change it back to victim in the 1.53 release, which I'll be putting out in 4-5 hours, didn't know it would break backwards compatibility like that, and it's a simple dumb change to have caused it, not worth breaking any mods that may use startsex still and never be updated. @ashal - I noticed an issue with registered events for my Hormones mod. At the end of animation sexlab resets the alias the actor was stored in for the duration, at the end of it it calls UnregisterForAllModEvents() to clear some events it uses now, believe that ends up clearing it for actor stored in the alias, and thus on all alias scripts holding the actor, rather than just the script it's called on. Will be fixed next release.

While 1.51 versions worked fine (except savegame corruption glitch), this version has bug with animation adjustments (hotkeys not working). They are not working atl all. I`ve deselected race preferences adjustmet, reinstalled SexLab - problem still exist. Any ideas?

DeepBlueFrog Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 For modders out there, I just discovered the the parameter 'victim' in StartSex() has been renamed to 'VictimRef'. Which means I have to recompile all scripts that make use of it... all 800 of them in SD+ (not really 800 but there are many)... Edit: I found a reference to victim in Dangerous Night. I recompiled it locally but that will probably prevent that mod from running with SexLab 1.52. until it is fixed in the code. Sorry to probably make you recompile them all a second time, (a simple .bat script could compile them all for you) but I'll probably change it back to victim in the 1.53 release, which I'll be putting out in 4-5 hours, didn't know it would break backwards compatibility like that, and it's a simple dumb change to have caused it, not worth breaking any mods that may use startsex still and never be updated. No worries... it wasn't hard to change. Looking forward to the next update. So far, it feels a lot more stable and smooth (outside of these few glitches).

Now that integration with DA is almost done, I am looking into compatibility with SexLab 1.5+ as the next big issue before a release.

They've never been necessary. SexLab plays the animations it's given for a scene, if none are given it selects the appropriate animations on it's own.

I installed the 1.5 to 1.53 update and it is still expecting victimRef for StartSex. Should I wait for 1.54? Ignore: I need more coffee... not quite awake yet.
