Furrifier right out of the box is giving me this error line when I run it:

Father and Kid-Shaun in my game are human, is this a mod conflict or were they not converted for some reason? I ask cause I do not believe anything is conflicting with FFO that edits Father, and clicking on him in the console in-game says that Fallout 4's main game pluggin is what controls him.

The Player plugin for whichever FF4 race you selected should be editing those records to have their race match the player's. If that's not happening then something's wrong or you have some kind of mod loading after the Player plugin and undoing its changes somehow.

I had issues with similar errors iirc. I also had accidentally downloaded the experimental version of Fo4Edit. Make sure you're using version 4.0.4, it's in the misc files on nexus.

I was on the experimental build, switched to 4.04, but now I'm getting this error line instead:

Ah okay then it must be making them human because I have no FFO player race selected, instead using other mods to change the player race. I'm also using Start Me Up which alters the beginning of the game slightly.

Shaun and Child-Synth-Shaun are supposed to be related to the Player and thus are not edited by FF4 unless you're using one of the Player plugins from FF4 itself. If you're using a different race then those other mods should handle changing their race to the same as the player's instead.

 

Do note that due to lack of child race assets, the only custom races to include a furrified Child-Synth-Shaun are FF4's own and the recently-released Canine Races. Any other races will result in a bugged human Child-Synth-Shaun, but at least adult Shaun/Father should always be converted by all of them.

Actually, the latest Furrifier changed that story slightly.

 

Now the Furrifier looks at the player's race and changes Shaun in all his variants to match if Shaun isn't already furry. So if you load another race mod and that mod doesn't provide for Shaun, the Furrifier will do it.

 

The errors are a known bug in the xEdit interpreter that I haven't figured how to handle yet. It's worse in the experimental xEdit. The 64-bit version is sometimes better. Most people don't see it. I think it has to do with how they handle large integers, but the bug is one of those that disappears or moves when you try to nail it down. I'll have another go at fixing it.

I've been following the installation and furrifier instructions as close as I can and I believe I have the mod 95% working. The only issue is that male groins seem to be getting pulled off the body, usually towards the ground. This seems to happen with or without clothes (though without clothes, the issue is more pronounced). I'm not 100% sure what may be missing here, I did initially miss that Body Talk 3 is used and so installed that after the fact and built the bodyslide files but that hasn't seemed to resolve the issue. I was thinking it was an issue regarding OCBP (which I am using for CBBE bodies) which implies that it supports Body Talk 3 but based on the file contents of the mod, I'm not seeing anything specifically tied to Body Talk 3.

 

Would it also potentially be due to installing Body Talk 3 onto an existing save? Save was started with Furry Fallout and additional races by Blaze.

 

*EDIT*

I managed to fix the issue after taking a step away for a bit, and I'll list it here just incase anyone else has similar issues, Skeletal Adjustments for CBBE conflicts with with ZaZ Extended Skeleton. Despite being for CBBE it seems to only cause problems for BodyTalk3 and the groin area.

The Issue I have run into, after updating and fixing mods after being away for 3 months, when redownloading and getting the furrinator (or what it was called again) just to stay up to date, now when playing the game, all "essential" npc's or npc's story-related with'em be humans. Preston has the in the fo4edit the "lion" race, but in-game he's just regular preston. 
It all worked smooth as butter correctly 3 months ago, I wonder what mod, or what I myself did wrong that has this mod only work on unessential npc's and such.
Furthermore, all companions as well be humans, even if I have a special race-edit for'em, like Piper supposed to be Argonian.

 

Any ideas or advice?

Bad load order ? Try loading the plugins as last.

Probably a stupid question but does anyone know how to fix male genitals being fixed in place once an NPC dies? cant figure it out myself

Ok, so I did find a fix, one that seemed obvious but something I didn't require to do BEFORE.
I put the Furry_npcdlc AAALL THE WAY to the bottom, alone, below all optimimizations, PRP's, Previs', etc. Again, never needed to do that before, usually all these mods would be rigut behind the previs stuff but still work before, so I am as confused as I am happy to have figured that one out.

So... "last" does mean last, y'know.

 

Still, good info and thanks for reporting it. I've been putting FFO in the "Late FIxes & Changes" LOOT group and thinking that's good enough. I can't think that previs stuff would affect NPCs--there must be other mods in there with NPCs that are fighting with FFO. In the end it will probably always require the human to say what should win.

Nah dw I feel ya, I should've put the npc_dlc mod all the way to last first thing first, however, as it was never required 2-3 months ago beforeeee I, two days ago, updated PRP and previs's stuff, I must imagine something updated overided the ffo mods, so I had to just re-organize it all.


Tho true, I can't imagine how any of the optimizations and PRP and such would mess with the ffo stuff, but it was a fix atleast to prioritize any npc-race changes over all of it.

Been having a blast with FFO. Thing is, a couple days ago, I updated my modlist to include the most recent version of the mod. I updated it all: NPCs, DLC NPCs, NSFW and the main mod, but as soon as I try to change the hairstyle or even change the eye and haircolors of Nora in the mirror in the character creation part, her head is replaced by the female Lykaios' head. Fur, snout, everything. Weird thing is, it only affects the head. My plugins list is below. I always sort the load order with LOOT, and this is the first time something of the sort has happened.

I'm trying to run the furrifier script, but this happens, and I get a patch with nothing except the file header.
