I have bugs with their clothes, they are naked and they have invisible ankles, I understand this is a problem related to their equipment. How to solve it?

Make sure you have the required mods, cuz equipment comes from those. And once you have installed zaz, make sure to build the meshes in bodyslide.

If any of this doesn't make sense, then check youtube for bodyslide tutorials and nexus for a basic mod guide.

This mod does not use Zaz. This mod uses Devious Devices.

The clothes come from Devious Devices. If the clothes are missing, or have invisible body parts, that means you forgot to build the Devious Devices clothing in BodySlide.

Here is a link to the Devious Devices SE main page. There is an "INSTALLATION" section on that page that says you must run BodySlide.

Quote

INSTALLATION

1. Install ALL requirements listed above using your favorite mod manager, including THEIR respective requirements.
2. Install DD using the mod manager of choice. Manual installation is possible but not recommended or supported.
3. Run FNIS when done
4. And don't forget to use Bodyslide to build the assets. Half of all user support requests are caused by them not running Bodyslide. RUN BODYSLIDE!!!!
5. Make sure that Beast Races Refit is loaded AFTER DD For Him, if you installed both. LOOT will not recognize this and not automatically sort it!
6. Start up Skyrim, and either create a New Game, or load your Save.
7. Save the game, and then load the save you just created (DD will not register Animations / Events until you load a save after it has been installed).

Grief, I am dumb. We have three Zip downloads. I use MO2. I installed the first, then merged in 2 and 3 afterwards. Did I do this right?

Thanks for advice!

The 3 download zip files are for version 1, 2, and 3. Each file supersedes the previous file.

You only need to download install one zip file.

If you want the most recent version, which is version 3, then you only need to download and install the "-3.zip" file.

I hope that helps!

Thanks for the clarification! Confirms I am dumb, too!

Are there any settings where you can have the slaves naked without the corset outfits?

No. That is what the "Devious" in this mod's name refers to - Devious Devices.

Is this compatible with PAHE, And You Get A Slave, and Home Sweet Home?  IE will the slave have to be retrained in one of the mods listed?

I don’t use any of those mods, but my guess is the answer to both your questions is Yes.

So the captives aren't bound at all or anything. Didn't really put that together when downloading this. I guess I just read 'devious' and assumed that meant bondage (it usually does). Not to sound rude, but I'm a little confused what the point of this mod is if they aren't really 'captives.' It's kind of odd to be exploring a bandit lair and see a lady in a corset using a smithy acting like you're inconveniencing her, lol.

The nature of the added NPCs captivity is for you to imagine or role play. You can assume that the captured NPCs are afraid to escape, rather than being physically restrained to prevent escape.

The technical design goal for this mod was to be script free, so the added NPCs are not actually restrained with any bondage devices or furniture that would require scripts.

The purpose of this mod is to provide ambiance in the world and increase immersion. Other mods, such as Sexlab Survival, add idle dialogue to NPCs claiming bandits routinely capture and enslave female adventurers. This mod is intended to increase immersion by showing female NPCs that have been captured by bandits and forced into slavery or sex slavery.

having a problem with this. Recruitment works fine(have RDO) but they dont actually fight in combat they just stand far back and do nothing or surrender, once you get in combat

Yes, that is how the captive NPCs are configured in the ESP file.

The idea is that they are not fighters and that is why they were captured.

Ah okay, that makes sense.

Thanks for the reply

What would be required to actually make them fight? I tried using EFF to set them to aggressive and warrior and they still won't do anything. Or do I need to edit something in Xedit?

Yes, use xEdit to change their willingness to fight.

I did a test with Shura and unfortunately she still won't fight. I noticed that the ai package is "hwdbcHoldPositionIgnoreCombat [PACK:FE000817]" Should that be changed to something else?

Okay, I'm sorry that initial suggestion did not work.

Here is a comparison of one of the Devious Bandit Captives on the left, and a follower that fights normally on the right. I think that these are the complete set of differences that would affect combat.

So also change Shura's AI package to DefaultSandboxEditorLocation1024 and add a combat style to her of csForswornBerserker.

Okay, that is odd. I do not have an explanation for why she refuses to fight after you made those changes.

It should be obvious by now that I am not an expert on NPC combat behavior. ?

I checked a couple of other followers and they had the following package: AAA_FollowerPackage [PACK:FE001D63] but it's not available to choose! I think I'm gonna give up now. Thanks for trying.
