Durante Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Need a guide for what all the new features do, the names are too confusing and the descriptions are too short. And my experience so far is that I updated from the previous FPE and after an hour all pregnancies were ended as births. And that's a non issue, but one settler is now missing the baby, its as if it walked out of the inventory by itself.

Is this the intended behavior? I assumed the number of eggs in you would go down, but maybe it's not possible to alter a pregnancy's stats once it's in progress?

I assumed the number of eggs in you would go down, but maybe it's not possible to alter a pregnancy's stats once it's in progress? so how it is designed(whether or not it performs as intended) around smaller creatures like chickens or rabbits so instead of a laying 3-4 eggs, you get 2 laying 3-4 eggs. but some may be just eatable eggs or a deathclaw pregnancy of 6 months with an egg being birth in month 3 it is an idea and I am not sure if it is worth it yet btw I might be swapping around MCM settings so multiple births might move to WDF
Sleepy_Soul Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 I got knocked up with initially four Bloodbug eggs - the pregnancy lengths lasted only three months. I use 'set FPFP_Internal_UpdateTime to 3' to get more frequent body morph updates, but the side effect of this is every three hours I was popping out four eggs. Eventually the 5 pound eggs started to pile up in the inventory, so I started just shoving them in random containers in Sanctuary. Eventually I gave birth to all of them, and moved on through the main questline. I then see 'blah blah has grown up in Sanctuary' notifications start spamming, but I'm busy with other stuff, so I eventually forget about them. Eventually, I fast travel back to Sanctuary, only to be attacked by a horde of bloodbugs. Haven't have a good laugh like that in a while. 1
mmmyummyrat Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Hey I was just wondering if the babies get auto placed into your characters/the NPCs inventory, my character and some of my settlers gave birth but I cant find a baby item in any of our inventories, I'm currently just running this mod + requisites, is there another one I need for the actual baby or have I just left my child on the floor of the superdupermart

I am not sure if that is possible however it would be possible to make a stronger version of wasteland whisperer I will have a think about it (especially how to do it for creatures only(because all of the injectors from WDF use the same mechanic)

pleasetryme Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 @Invictusblade could there be an option in the menu with baby genders, i was hoping to have only daughters but had like 9 males and 1 female. and would be amazing if the child or was a way they were like pipers daughter or cait curie etc, like piper just gave birth to a baby girl obviously that would work if baby gender locked.

I assumed you are using the latest (and Legal) Version of Fallout 4? go into your data folder and do the following 1. Update F4SE (Again if you have already updated) 2. test that 3. rename MCM (NOT DELETE) 4. test that 5. rename Interface (NOT DELETE) 6. test that

Take one down, patch it around 117 little bugs in the code." there will be really weird bugs because here is the thing, I didn't change anything in the Growing Baby script and Growing Children script and I barely change anything in the main FPE script (FPFP_Player_Script) so a few questions which baby? wearable? misc? which child? because there are five Babies and ten children in FPE and I won't even go into how many babies and children are in Baby Addon and More Creatures edit-> I tested a new game, I spawn around 10 babies (I was testing the thing below) and all of them produced one child each. there was a slight issue, but it is unrelated (I spawned two babies and received a third) 8 hours ago, VonHelton said: Ego did ALOT of mods......Will you be doing those as well? No, I doubt it, I only started working on FPE because it expanded my content on WDF (but I will admit that I may have to undo some of my work on FPE, if there are more bugs in the future) however I would admit that I would like to look at Commonwealth Captives (because I really like that mod) (I do have it but I won't share it) besides sometimes scripting breaks my mind, I have been working a pregnancy manager (similar to overlay manager) for settlers which will use the options from MCM to give settlers a human pregnancy or a creature pregnancy or a baby and then delete itself. the script seems to be simple and working but it keeps adding and adding (usually around 4 babies) it turns out that the wait commands is the cause of the issues. no idea why 1

All of the born babies are unwearable here. And how should I tell which child it is? They all look generic, dark haired male or female.

And then they stay without getting removed. by going into console, and click on them or for babies, type the following on yourself(player.inv) or NPC(inv) a few questions 1. how long is your save game (how many Hours or days) 2. did you have any pregnancies or babies during the update to the latest version (you do have v3.15, right?) 3. NPC or Player was the parent? I just tested it again, with a load order ending at FPE. (No WDF) and I still didn't get the issue but I did find an old bug from WDF so I have to try fix that. the baby in the carport is an armor baby (and produced one child) the baby on the street is a MISC baby (and produced one child) the baby on the NPC is an armor baby (and is bugged) (and produced one child)

Multiple children from a single baby also very important, unequip all babies from FPE because it is currently bugged edit-> this bug is driving me crazy so three choices 1. change the baby armor from the carrying one to the backpack baby 2. completely remove the wearable baby and return to the MISC Baby 3. leave it and hope for the best
Spectre5342 Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Is pregnancy supposed to alter the players values like Carry Weight and Action Points? As I progressed through pregnancy they reach zero possibly negative values. After birth the values didn't reset however after abortion the smaller change in values did revert. I'll test this with different actors and different npc's in pregnancy the one in this instance was from automotron and when it was birthed nothing happened so this might be a localized issue.
