Looking through the files in the mod, there isn't a special mesh for the arm ropes, so am I missing a file?

The ropes come from Devious Devices, you need that mod, and you need to run Bodyslide on it.

 Fair enough, I suppose, since I didn't outright state that I already have DD installed;

DD is installed and working.

Every device except for the rope armbinder is visible and functional. I've since uninstalled DD Lore, which didn't actually fix the issue; only the rope armbinder is invisible, with or without DLore.

I've run and rerun BodySlide a million times with a million different settings; that can't be the issue.

Is there a beast race patch for this? The DD items this mod uses are just re-textured from the original, which has proper compatibility with khajiits / argonians, but they are either misaligned or completely invisible.

 

If not, how hard would it be to fix in xEdit?

After some digging, I found this patch on the LE thread for Skyrim SE but DD 5.1. It doesn't seem to work on the latest version of DD which is 5.2. Just CTD on load when the mod is active.

Hello, I was wondering if there was an easy way to reduce the chance of a "loot box" spawning inside of the boss chests. I see you can adjust the weights for gear % and DD %, but no way to adjust the chance of the loot box itself. I just wasn't happy with getting a loot box from every one of these chests.

I just wan't to say that you get a reproducible CTD when you install the "Devious Lore KS Hairs Patch" while other NPC appearance changer mods modify FaceGen data of e.g. the  Jailmasters. As the KS Hairs Patch just overwrites the hair part record and cannot reflect other FaceGen changes, this inconsistency leads to the CTD as soon as you load the cell with a Jailmaster present that was changed by a other mod.

according to the dark arena forum its caused by cell names having underscored in them. you can fix it by running hishy's underscore removal script (Hishy_RemoveUnderscoreFromEditorIDs.pas) in xedit. While I haven't had a chance to try it with devious lore it worked for dark arena.

Thank you for the solution. While Devious lore doesn't cause too much inconvenience, I might try it for for Public Whore as it has the same issues with Palace of Kings.

Has anyone created a patch for Devious lore to work with Quickloot yet? noticing that the urns and other items don't show up with quickloot unless you actually open the container.

Bit of a problem, taking Hjorni's first quest tried to send me to Ysgramor's Tomb (i.e. the dungeon you can only access at the end of the Companion's guild quest line). Should probably be some guard rails on where these quests can send you if possible. I see the mod hasn't been updated in a while, is it just expected that in these cases simply reload and keep trying to start the quest and hope a different location is picked?

 

Something else, minor suggestion: Have innkeepers say something along the lines of: "Oh, someone was asking around about strange containers but didn't get too specific. Something about finding relics, or devices or some such. Maybe if you can track some down they might be interested." The current line makes no sense that they should be around in a day or so. They don't show up at all unless you find a container, open it, and get devices from the container.

Hi,

Thanks for the great mod!

 

By any chance, do you know how to unlock DD from slaves registered inside Paradise Halls HSH?
- slave was enslaved with straightjacket, then brought to HSH and told to stay there via standard dialogue option.
- When i click on the item in their inventory with "carry sth for me" option, it just says "you dont have the key to free XX". I remember I already managed to do it exactly like that for another slave, so there is a way, but it consumed the key I had by default then (automatically).

- obviously, asking to strip doesnt remove the device.
- I understand after searching that key names have changed with DL. There are two skeleton keys I can add to my inventory via the console. both dont unlock the device.
    - Skeleton Key: this when I use it makes my character shake - I believe its the vanilla SK. Then nothing changes.
    - Simple Skeleton Key: cant use via inventory. Doesn't do anything.

These jackets are expensive, I hope you understand why I care so much.

Edit: Found the right key after looking through every esp with simple item spawner. Forgot the name but it's there, not in the main Expansion pack but in one of the other DD packs.

Have same issue. 

It is intended to have no clue about the key to press?

Early attempts of ussing the minigame lead me to no stamina for long times...  I would appreciate a strategy guide ^_^.

It's not this mod, it's DCL - Deviously Cursed Loot. Looks like you've downloaded LE version of DCL.

The blacksmiths wont help me because they dont want to get in trouble with the guards, is that part of the mod and can be changed in the options or is it because i have a little bounty from another mod?

Hi

 

I don't understand....

 

I find the items ( craft, old grimoire, vial etc...) i open it, sometimes with restraints sometimes without.

 

I want to meet the NPC for the Quest but i didn't find one of them...

 

I try to speak at the innkeeper but i didn't have the dialog line.

 

Their shops were locked too.

 

Can you help me pls???
