Yeah because what is strange is everything seems to work ok. I can continue the quests and complete the dialogue, its just I don't know anything that's being said. all the other animations and items work. Certain points in quests I have hit stumps but I think that is just because I don't know what I am supposed to do since I can't see what they are saying.

Yeah, it confuses me because everything else still works, even those quests, but the npcs just don't work like they should with the dialogue. I wasn't sure if I had something wrong with my load order for my mods I have installed or if there was some conflicts but everything seems fine.

I don't use Vortex so I can't help there either. I'm 100% a MO2 guy.

As Nom said, I haven't seen that happen before.

 

I always use Aylis guide as my load order guide -

 

Couple of things jump out:

- You are running both the devious lore aio 2.04 and the devious lore se 2.04.  Disable one.

- DCL (Deviously Cursed Loot) had a conflict reported with Devious Lore.

- Why do you have CBBE 1.6.1 and 1.5.3 both enabled?

 

It's much easier to see mod conflicts in MO2 as it highlights conflicts. I haven't used Vortex in a while (I switched to MO2 after screwing up and losing all my installed mods), I seem to remember that conflicts were only highlighted when installing mods?

 

Could also try reinstalling your skeleton and also rebuilding your FNIS (MO2 terminology here, if a mod seems to be having a problem I have it reinstall in MO2, not sure what the equivalent is in Vortex).

 

EDIT:  If none of that works, as Vortex changes your actual skyrim game folder, you could nuke your Skyrim SE install and re-download skyrim from steam then re-apply your mods.

I am seeing an issue with one of the devices that is equipped on my character.  It is the "Black Torso and Leg Rope Binds" id xx05DC59.  As you can see the forearms and calves are missing from the character when this is equipped.  I am using a 3BA body btw.  Do you know of a way to correct this?

Devious Lore is for female PC, so has no use for DD for him.

quick question about the downloads. Is the latest Devious lore SE 2.2.1 download the same as the Devious Lore SE AIO v2.04 or do I need to use it with the 2.04 patches?

Replace the old one with the new one and use the patch's. You only need ks hair patch and the devious lore patch, the struggle idles is in dev lore patch, so they are now redundant

I didn't make the mod so you'll have to ask the original author that one. Converting doesn't touch the esp so it's the same esp as the original

Hey just wondering I'm getting an odd event when I open a container the textbox pops up and screen fades to black. I can here everything in the background but nothing seems to happen just a black screen.

This mod doesn't seem to be working for me.  None of the loremasters seem to do much of anything, and any of the stuff I open doesn't even attempt to put anything on me.  I once had one single quest for one of them, but that was it.  Is it currently broken, or what?

Does anyone know exactly which bugs appear if you used deviously cursed loot? I was thinking of getting this, but I don't wanna if they're supposedly incompatible, but is it fully confirmed?

When I had both it used my character tended to freeze up quite frequently. I removed DCL and it started working. I also seem to remember DCL's page mentioning Lore conflicts, but I have no absolute proof.

Hello, I'm using KSHairdos HDT - SMP, which is named: "KSHairdosSMP.esp" instead of the required .esp "KSHairdos.esp".

Do I still need the patch or can I ignore it, or should I also download the KSHairdos.esp?

So I am able to currently play using both devious lore and DCL in addition to the other various Devious mods that are available. I made a post a few days ago but when I tried playing the following day it wasn't functioning correctly so I've updated my post. There are some thing that I noticed with my loading after further reading. First and foremost I had to start with a fresh save after checking that I was running the most recent versions of the mods. Second made sure that I was not running any old patches for an older version of DCL or the other Devious devices. DD5.1 is  completely different build from the other versions and the old patches can cause problems from reading a few posts on DCL support page (I was running the old facegen, HDT, and Script patch which were not compatible with 5.1) I just disabled them. You can view the spoiler to see my modlist and priority of each. I am using MO2. I also included my Plugins for devious files and where they are in the priority.  I just tested opened 2 of the smuggled packages and screen went black and then came back with the devices equipped to my character without any issue both times. The key thing I did notice was that if the scripts in the upper left didn't say DD 5.1 initialized then the items didn't equipped properly. So make sure that DD5.1 is properly starting. I will edit this post in the event that anything else comes up which isn't working correctly. However at this time the game is functioning correctly.

You need to set the minimum arosual level as high as possible or set the device wieght to the lowest possible setting. These are on the first tab labeled either Loot or Devices.

 

@Rangerguy @sen4mi  I would suggest that you both look into either updating your papyrus script engine to a verison that can handle larger amounts of scripts, disabling Plugins that are script heavy but not necessary to your game play, Alternatively you can try just opening your command console once or twice. Some people have said that helped the game kickstart the events.

Is looking around disabled when doing the Escape Minigame? The camera gets forced behind the player whenever I start the minigame and I've tried various ways to move it:

• SexLab's Freecam Hotkey
• console command TFC
• console command EnablePlayerControls
• even checked [MCM > ZaZ Animation Pack > Player Control Center] and it says "Looking" is enabled

Yet the camera stays locked behind when I really wanna see them struggle from the front.

Hi folks, I'm currently putting a little time into cleaning up some of the crud in my Skyrim boot-up sequence, such as random missing script messages and whatnot. I'm getting the following in my Papyrus logs:

[03/18/2022 - 10:03:37AM] error: Unable to bind script _DL_StoreContainer to  (EB02CF73) because their base types do not match
[03/18/2022 - 10:03:37AM] error: Unable to bind script _DL_StoreContainer to  (EB02DACA) because their base types do not match
[03/18/2022 - 10:03:37AM] error: Unable to bind script _DL_StoreContainer to  (EB02DACB) because their base types do not match
[03/18/2022 - 10:03:37AM] error: Unable to bind script _DL_StoreContainer to  (EB02DACC) because their base types do not match

Further review reveals that this script is attached to the five actors visible below with _DL_Store as a prefix. 

 

 

I checked the LE version and it was also absent from that archive.

 

Can anyone tell me if...

 

A) A copy of this script exists somewhere that I can get my hands on, or 

B) If this script actually does anything or if it is safe to unbind from these actors?

Hello, I have had this installed for about an hour now, and after opening several boxes, barrels/etc...I am yet to see any sort of loot from this mod auto restraining or otherwise...

 

I even set loot slider to 100.
