You can equip toys like vanilla armor on the player or NPCs, so if you can reverse-pickpocket vanilla armor onto NPCs, you can do so with toys too.

There was no intentional change.

To prevent climax (which is when rousing drops hard), you always had to deny each squirt/orgasm.

 

Something that did change is that Spontaneous O went from being a custom scene (Toys played it on its own all along), to using the new Toys&Love Love scenes. Maybe with that change, there's more stages and/or higher chance of squirts, thus more of them to deny than before. I'm not sure. Don't really think so.

 

I think what's happening is you are getting more oversexed than before we had Love in Toys&Love. More oversexed means more chance for denial to fail. There's now more things contributing to oversexed. I agreed with you... for me, it feels like it's harder now, but I always tell my husband its better when its hard.

 

Two possible remedies... 1) get the Oversexed Cure Potion. Currently only way to get it is one of the Trials in Toy Story.  2) increase the Oversexed Max in MCM.

 

Maybe I need to make denial fail less (i.e. more tolerant to oversexed). Got any ideas? I think the jury might be out on if it's needing balancing or not. I will try to watch while playtesting more myself. It does make the Oversexed Cure Potion useful. Maybe just need more ways to get that potion. Maybe somebody talk @Scrab into adding the potion in Toyful Temptations.

Hi everyone,

 

trying out the toys framework for the first time and so far everything seems to work as expected- except for the ball gag not opening my mouth. The ball hangs somewhere under my closed moth somewhat merged with the chin. Is this a known issue or is there some sort of dependency that I may have not installed? I did run bodyslide and all other devices look fine. Thx for your help!

If using LE, there's no requirement for MFGfix. The rest of that link still applies.

People almost never have problems in LE, as the 2 main issues listed there don't happen. So I agree that its something else.

 

The basics to see if Toys&Love is installed fine...

  1. Did you start a new game?  When install instructions say start a new game, do I really need to start a new game?
  2. What happens if you run the Toys&Love - MCM - Setup tab - Installation test?  Pass or fail?  Steps to fix if the test in MCM Fails

If that does not help, need a clearer idea on your problem. Screenshot would help to see your problem.

 

Also we need your papyrus log for a game session where you....

load your most recent save from testing this... Run the above mentioned Installation test... remove the gag if one is there... put a gag on... exit game to desktop.... Grab that log.

Aside from Toys complaining that it can't execute expressions, your log is very clean.

 

The reason expressions wont work is revealed here...

You need to add... Mfg Console.

 

What's happened is:

  • After Toys recently became Toys&Love, it no longer required Sexlab
  • You are not running Sexlab, which is fine, but related
  • Sexlab must package MfgConsole with it. But I thought it's part of PapyrusUtil so I did not list MfgConsole as a requirement
  • This likely has not come up yet because I think its rare to not have Sexlab
  • Seems you are first to install in LE without Sexlab (or at least the first to then report the lacking expressions)
  • I test and mostly play without Sexlab, and I do have the files from MfgConsole, so I'm not sure why I have MfgConsole, but I must have installed it separately at some point

No problem! I am so glad there was a solution AND me not being an idiot ?. Glad I could help find a little issue and yes normally I have Sexlab running ofcourse, but I read you no longer need it so I was going for the slimmest set of mods that I wanted to use here. Will test this right away with MFG Console. Definitely have it somewhere just not active in this MO profile. Really appreciate you looking into this so quickly- Thank You!

You have misunderstood. Stripping Tab in MCM is for non-toys. Toys on the player are handled special, as per the Love Tab.

Everything is working as intended. Read the highlight tips in the first pic, and for the whole section in the 2nd pic (do that in game).

If I want to use Devious Devices in addition to Toys, what is the best way to do that? I like using DCL, will using Toys mods be possible without breaking anything too badly?

Look at the poll up top. Shows 70% of Toys&Love users are also using DD.

I love what you've done with this mod :)!  Just had one suggestion though.  In a future version of this mod could you possibly include struggle/escape animations for when you're character is trying to escape from furniture they're bound too or is unlocking equipped toys?  There are some pretty good struggle/escape animations in 2 other mods by the modder Kimy.  "Deviously Cursed Loot" and "Devious Devices LE 5.0" by Kimy have good examples of this.  Just a suggestion.  Take care and thank you again for all your cool mods ?!  Here is the links to those other 2 mods for information:

Toys&Love is not taking care of furniture. Maybe one day, but its not now.

If you are seeing furniture scenes, that would only be custom scenes in SLaVE. SLaVE is doing it on its own, not using any framework. Not sure if there's fitting animations for those. If there is, might be possible, but first need to identify the author of the animations and get permission.

 

character is unlocking equipped toys

When you unlock a toy in Toys&Love, there's no menu, no pop-up, no mini-game, no struggling game. That's intentional of course. We wanted to do this very differently. Toys instead has other non-tedious methods of escape, like knocked off in combat, blow out by orgasm, waiting for the toy to transform due to rousing and other things before a key can work. So I think animations for a struggle are not fitting, as there's no struggle going on in the first place. You have a key, you use it. Done.

Say, back in May when you included that buff fail save, are you 100% certain you didn't go overboard with it?

I've been plagued by a problem for weeks now. Movement speed buffs wouldn't stick. No matter if my movement speed got increased by spell, magic item, mod effect or console it would only last so-and-so long (from a couple seconds till the next cell change) and then I was back at 100 again. Worse if the speed buff ended, I was slowed down by the % that I should've been had (so if I should've been a speed of 120 and then the buff expired I now dropped from 100 to 80 rather than 120 to 100), very, very annoying. Recently I noticed there is on source of speed buffs that do stick, those from toys (like +30 from the exotic ankle irons). So I made a new profile, removed all Toy family mods (also had to remove DynDolod and DDC, but I doubt those messed with my movement speed) and all of a sudden all movement speed buffs worked again the way they should.

Now that's not conclusive proof, but I think it's enough of a case to ask you to double check your code please.

What the fail safe does is, if the speed would be waaaaay out of range by setting what it's about to set, it does not do it, so you don't end up with a ridiculous very slow or very fast scenario, at least not from Toys. This should not be capable of doing anything bad, but I will check into it.

  2. Some mod in my LO is wracking it out of range, I think likely due to #1.  Most likely its Frostfall, but as mentioned, I'm blaming AE as being more likely and FF is just a victim, same as Toys was before the fail safe.

So yes I will keep trying to make it better if I can, and watch and make sure I did not "over do it". Been fighting with this a long time. thought its fixed now :( So your report is news.

 

I will assume you have been using the latest v2.21 version, but let me know if otherwise.

Yes I'm using V2.21, I'm also still on 1.597, so it's no AE shenanigans.

I will try to create a testgame with as few other mods as possible and see if I can recreate the problem in that. Might have to wait till the weekend though as I've a high workload this week.

 

I'm kinda suspecting other mods to be involved, as I'm running a large LO. Still, the indications are there. From the timing (starting around early to mid June) to Toys buffs being the only ones to stick and the removal of the Toys framework to fix the problem. Nothing of that proves it's purely the fault of your Framework, but I'm pretty convinced it's involved in a critical way.

Hi. I have the following problem; the bound running and sprinting animation when combat-running is not working.

The character has her fists in front of her body and not in the bounds. 

 

All other running animations work perfectly fine, including running and sprinting when not combat ready, or kicking in combat.

 

What may make this complicated is that I use a lot of mods.
